awful company - miss pick ups, no reliable email to submit complaints , Rude and dismissive - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I’ve been with Ash waste services for a good while now. Although at first we didn’t have the greatest of relationships, things are back on track mainly due to the help from Liam. Liam’s customer service has been great and I look forward to the continued reliable service from Ash Waste.

Excellent service from ASH Waste Services. Jacob has been extremely helpful, professional and friendly throughout. This is honestly some of the best customer service I have received. I’m very happy with the service and would confidently use ASH Waste for all my bin and waste collection needs. Highly recommended!

Liam was really good and persuaded us to stay with Ash waste for another year. Got us a better deal and the contract was set up in good time!

Imogen was really helpful and went an extra mile to support us . I was very concerned about EHA but she put my mind at ease and sent me an email outlining actions.

Paresh gave a great service in Nottingham and had fantastic communication. The waste service with Ash has been reliable and im happy with my decision to go with them

repeatedly added ghost charges on, questioned it and had confirmation of it being sorted and credit being raised againts next invoice. Same again happened the following 2 months and a further credit had to be raised. The cancellation process was a mess- had to send a physical letter in- then no one would acknowedge it until I chased. added price increases stating correspondance had been sent, asked for evidence and times of emails and nothing available or received. Really would avoid them.

Great service and great personal interaction when they come and see you. 5* for sure

Really disappointing experience from start to finish.

I was assured by Matt that ASH Waste had a great team and service, but unfortunately, since moving over, I’ve had problem after problem.

My waste bin wasn’t delivered for weeks. I waited in for an arranged delivery only to discover it hadn’t even been dispatched. More than six weeks later, bins finally arrived, but they were the wrong ones. During this time, payments were still being taken despite me not having the bins or receiving the service I was paying for.

When collections eventually started, the bins were repeatedly left unlocked after being emptied, meaning other businesses and members of the public could use and fill them. I was then left paying for waste that wasn’t mine, simply because the bins hadn’t been locked after collection.

To make matters worse, I then received invoices containing charges for services I hadn’t received. I emailed ASH Waste specifically querying these charges and asking for an explanation.

Rather than answering my query, I received no response and the account was subsequently passed to their legal team, who are now demanding over £1,800.

I have absolutely no issue paying for a service I have actually received, but I do have an issue with being charged for services I haven’t received and then being threatened with legal proceedings when I ask for those charges to be explained.

After being promised such a great service at the outset, the whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

A disgustingly unethical company. Adding services to your package as an 'opt-out' increase twice in 24 months! When challenged, they state that it is 'legally allowed' and whether it is unethical or not is a personal opinion.
AVOID

Absolutely horrific company. Sell you a dream to work there but when you look to move on it’s like climbing a mountain to get a reference. Do not work here and do not use the services they treat customers and staff like absolute garbage. Fitting for a waste company.

Don't come when they are supposed to !
No communication to say they aren't coming !
Promise to come then don't attend !

Would not recommend at all, we have tried to exit contract and gave over 2 months notice, the ridiculous contract the terms to exit are extreme that don't think anyone could ever really exit the contract with them, renewed contract and increased prices without knowledge, nothing on portal or email as any records, and apparently they don't keep records, we requested exit fee which went from 11.5K to 7.8K to 7.5k to 7k to 3.8k now 3k which still is ridiculous exit cost, all seems to be their way and despite us being in contract for over 10 years loyalty means nothing - still ongoing issues now and getting no where at all

Bins are left in middle of road, our bin was damaged on being emptied and they didn't have decency to walk to shutter door to tell us they just pushed it back across the path so we had to contact to request replacement bin after they damaged it

We have been with ASH Waste services for just over 2 years now and had prompt collections and great service. Always very helpful when you call with a problem and have great customer service. Only leaving them because we are closing the businesses otherwise we would still be using them. Highly recommended by DMG services

Nisha and Ellie is amazing, the quality of the service has been amazing and the communication has been second to none! So happy we moved over. :)
