I recently used ASH Waste for a skip and couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the process was seamless, professional, and incredibly efficient.

A huge shoutout to Michael, who was a pleasure to deal with. He made the booking process effortless, answering all my questions with a great attitude and ensuring I got the right size skip for my project. It’s rare to find such helpful customer service these days

This company is a joke. I signed an 18month agreement but the small print kept me tied in for an extra years. Also, their charges are very high compared to all other companies. I overpaid by £1500 over 3 years.

Wot a bad company renewing my friend for another 3 years when he told them he didn't want the renewal Now trying to get him to pay the 3 years contract up or they will take further action and mess his credit score up been a customer of theirs for over 10 years

It's an absolute denial without looking carefully into the issues. It's not a problem. We'll be changing the supplier. This is not acceptable.

If I could give zero stars then I would this company is beyond a joke. They always reschedule the pickup of the rubbish Thai can go on for days. There service is appalling I would make a recommendation never sign up to this company

just found out that to cancel our collection services they require £800.00 for the privilage. can't believe the godongers in asking that much CHEEK!!

When i signed my contract with Ashwaste it was a 24 months contract for £8 per lift then rental duty and the Vat.As it was my first business the first 3 months(the PROBATIONARY PERIOD) it was all under £50 and i was ok with it.Then the price started going up every 3 months even though it was a fixed payment for 12 months.When i rang them and asked they were so Rude.Every single time i got charged extra and they said it was either mixed municipal waste or extra weight but all I put is empty cardboards and my contract says 660L.I have a restaurant next door and i explained to them it might be the restaurants because ashwaste bin men empty my bin and immediately the restaurant's bin .They get mixed together in the bin lorry(there is no different sections or part) but they kept being rude.So i waited for the contract to end and called them and said i do not want to continue with them but instead of telling me what to do next ,they were asking me what the problem was but I was not given a particular date to send them an email and a letter.As a non-native speaker the words were confusing and there was no proper explanation given to me.Then I got enrolled to a 3 years contract now..From £8 per lift(2022) it has gone to £20.14(2026) per lift.One of the biggest mistakes for a small business.Stay away from them.I must have read the reviews before signing in with them.

We signed up to Ash Waste Services on what was presented as a 12 month contract, only to later be told it had automatically rolled into a 36 month agreement.

At no point was this clearly explained when we signed. The fact that missing a narrow notice window locks you into a further 3 years is completely disproportionate and, in our view, not transparent.

On top of that, prices have increased significantly since the contract started, making the service far more expensive than originally agreed.

When we contacted them to cancel, we were told we are tied into this extended contract, despite never knowingly agreeing to those terms.

This feels like a business model built around trapping customers into long-term agreements rather than providing a service people actually want to stay with.

I would strongly advise anyone considering signing up to read every line of the small print very carefully and think twice before committing.

If I had the option to give a negative rating, I absolutely would.
Please be very careful when dealing with this company. Once you sign up, it feels like you are locked in. Contracts are set for 5 years, and even contacting them for something as simple as a price review can result in being tied into another 5-year term.
We had 5 businesses with them, and thankfully only 2 remain. I am genuinely counting down the days until we can exit completely.
In my experience, this has been both frustrating and costly. I strongly recommend do not go with this waste collection company.

I was moving stores this week and Ellie was there with me every step of me to ensure that I could get my bins emptied throughout a very challenging week. Ellie was a superstar in every way possible. Give the girl a payrise!!!!

Unacceptable service. They went to the wrong address and then had the audacity to send me a photo of a completely different business premises, claiming the bins weren’t out. They were given my what3words location and still couldn’t navigate correctly. Very poor.

Becoming a weekly occurrence. Time to cancel!

We at River Cole motors have been with Ashwaste Services for the past three years and have always found them to be professional, reliable, and consistently on time. In my experience, they’re also one of the most competitively priced providers in the market.

Recently, I decided to cease trading and needed to exit my contract. Pete was absolutely brilliant throughout the process — he clearly explained all the terms and conditions, handled everything efficiently, and went above and beyond by securing a significant discount on my final exit fee.

I really appreciate his professionalism and support during what could have been a stressful situation. Highly recommended.

About 12 months ago, we made the switch to Ash Waste from our previous supplier, and I’ve been genuinely impressed with their entire team ever since.
From day one, Matthew took full ownership of the onboarding process. He conducted thorough site surveys across our multi-site restaurant estate and proactively recommended practical improvements—such as reducing collection frequency, upsizing bins where appropriate, and enhancing our recycling rates—all designed to drive meaningful cost savings.
Once we signed the contract (which delivered substantial savings compared to our previous provider), Matthew seamlessly coordinated the transition: ensuring the old bins were promptly collected and the new Ash Waste bins were delivered and positioned correctly across all locations.
After handover, our account moved to Nisha and her team, and the level of service has remained exceptional. Nisha and Ellie, in particular, have been outstanding—responsive, proactive, and incredibly efficient. Whenever I’ve raised an issue or needed something arranged, they make it happen quickly and without fuss.
I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Ash Waste. Their combination of expertise, professionalism, and genuine customer care has made them a real partner in managing our waste effectively.

Ash always puts my bin back in the right place after collection which is always appreciated.
