First, I love that they have tall styles. My leggings from them have lasted better than my Lulus, and the quality of the fabric is so much better. My recent align and wonder purchases are already pilling where my son sits on my hip. The Athleta leggings are still great and have that buttery softness while having better compression.
Unfair Price Policy
I ordered a pair of leggings from your website at a listed price of $94.99. However, when I received the item, the price tag on the leggings clearly read $59.99, which I understand is the in-store price.
This means I was charged $35 more simply for purchasing online. I find this deeply unfair and unacceptable. Customers who shop online should not be penalized or charged significantly more than those who purchase the same item in-store.
At a minimum, pricing should be transparent and consistent. Charging a higher online price without clearly disclosing that it exceeds the in-store price raises serious concerns about fairness and consumer protection. From my understanding, such pricing practices may also conflict with consumer rights and fair trade standards.

I’ve had it with Athleta…
This is in regard to an online purchase. I received an 80% off Mother’s Day offer from Athleta and went shopping online. When I tried to check out and pay, it told me they were checking on a fraud report. I kept getting notices and I kept confirming that I indeed made the purchase, but to no avail, I was unable to pay. I called customer service and they said that they were unable to reach the fraud department because they were down for maintenance. I called the next day and finally got the erroneous fraud notice taken off. When I went back to order, the 80% off was no longer available and many of the items I was going to buy were no longer available in my size.
I am beyond frustrated with this situation that was not of my making. It’s bad enough that Athleta quality, variety and sizing are ridiculously inconsistent. This was just the last straw. I’m never using them again.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I have spent so much money at Athleta over the years but now I'm done with them. Every shipment is late. The overall quality of their clothing has tanked, from inconsistencies in sizing, and colors to design flaws. But my main gripe is that YOU CAN NO LONGER REACH A HUMAN BEING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is totally unacceptable. They have lost my business.
Shady Athleta delivers to wrong address, tells us to pound sand.
Athleta chose to have LaserShip/OnTrac deliver our order. It was delivered to the wrong address. They submitted a delivery photo that is CLEARLY not our house/door. In fact, there is not a single house in our entire neighborhood with a door like the one in their photo. We contacted Athleta and reported the misdelivery. They said they were 'rejecting' our claim, and advised us to file a chargeback with our credit card. Chargeback filed! It's a slam-dunk win for us. Athleta very obviously doesn't care about its customers. They either don't bother to check the gps stamp with the delivery photo, or they do, and they just don't care when it doesn't match. Shameful company. We won't be making purchases from Athleta ever again. Buyer Beware.

I'm a long-time customer who ordered an item around March 18, 2026. I was confused when I received an email saying the sale was canceled.
I called to inquire and was told, to my shock, there's a fraud hold on my account. The CS representative provided enough information for me to determine that I bought an item on eBay, a legal activity in JULY of 2025. The seller in Sri Lanka ordered it and had it shipped with a stolen credit card.
I gave the CS rep enough information to identify the seller, and I personally reported the seller to eBay.
Athleta has ONE pair left in my size and refused to send them to my local store, where I could just go pay cash.
I did nothing wrong, yet Athleta is treating me like a criminal.
Creating labels with UPS but doesn't give to carrier!
Sadly, my items have shown as 'shipped' but awaiting pick up from carrier for 10 days. When I reached out to Customer Service (a bot) and asked for human, I was transferred to another Bot who gave me a link to 'apply' for a refund. I had asked for a yes or no answer as to whether my items had actually been shipped and they were reluctant to say. Finally I was offered an opportunity for the Bot to request a refund and told to wait ten days for it to process.
I've been a frequent Athleta customer for several years, but after experiencing this frustration and reading reviews, I'm going to look for another leggings source!
My advise to Athleta is to fulfill your orders! Don't offer items on sale if you have no intention of shipping those items!
Not impressed
I've made several purchases, sizing is inconsistent and quality varies. The lightweight ankle waist pants are too light, see through and wrinkles alot. And colors don't match what is online.
Would love my money back
I purchased some sweatpants from Athleta and even after several washes, I keep finding black little fabric pieces on me and all over my floor. They also seem huge and I haven't lost weight and they are a small.

I bought a pair of leggings less than 3 weeks ago at my local store. I went to exchange them and I was quite surprised that my local store has been permanently closed. I called customer service and two different people told me that the only way to exchange them is at the store which I do not have that option. The nearest store is 3 hours away from me. Very unhappy with my $89 leggings that do not fit. Won’t be buying from here again.
3-6 day shipping takes 3 weeks.
Great sports bras. Ordered Jan 20, currently jan 26. 2 out of 7 made it to me, the others (when tracking is properly followed through to USPS , and not stopped at their ups-mail-hybrid link) appear to be weeks behind. I'd be hesitant to order from them again, as shipping was promised in 3-6 days.

Claims process a joke
An expensive item was missing from a pretty large Athleta order. Stuff happens. I submitted a claim thru Athleta, which I've done in the past. There used to be a short review process, usually 24 hrs, which was then always approved. This time I realized they're using a new company, Appriss. My claim was instantly denied. I contacted Athleta customer care, they said there was nothing the could do, and to contact Appriss. I was on hold with them for over an hour before I gave up. Now I guess I'm just out $90. I've been an Athleta customer and credit card holder for 10+ years, 75% of my closet is Athleta. This, on top of other shenanigans, has lost them a lifelong customer.
Poor customer service
I ordered a jacket from Athleta and something from the Gap on 12/9/25. I received the Gap order on 12/12. I have attempted to track the Athleta order and their shipping service says it was delivered on 12/12 and 12/13. I am unable to get any further information about the Athleta order. I can see that I am not alone with the number of poor Athleta customer service reviews.

My daughter ordered four items and received one. The company refuses to send her the other three or change the bill and expects her to pay for the three missing items. They suggested she take it up with the credit card company which is a part of athleta; they refused the claim. We have closets full of athleta, not anymore.
Mediocre customer service
I purchased a workout top which went on sales the day I received it. They claim to give price match when an item was ordered within 14 days. I contacted customer service via the live chat and was given the run around by 2 different employee. The first one interrupted the chat accusing me not to have answered her questions, which I had. Very rude. The second simply refused to give me a price match. Once they have your money, they simply will not make any adjustments despite their commitments to customers. I work out every day in different clubs and will make sure to tell my surroundings to NEVER deal with Atletha. Other companies have equally good products and much better customer service.
