Athena is the only brand of clothing…

Athena is the only brand of clothing that fits my body type. the only store that would provide exemplary service was Orlando Mall of Millena and they closed it. they always took the time even when busy to help me suggesting things I might not consider going out of their way to order stuff online or try to get from another store.
I have been to PGA in Jupiter and the Lenox Store in Atlanta and the customer experience is horrible, I was in Lenox and the gentlemen knows me and I asked for assistance and he barely assisted me and then shoved me into a dressing room to go back onto the floor and do nothing, When I said to him I did not like a product in a color he never offered to order it in another color he never checked on me . this is the second or third time I have had problems. I have called the store leadership team from the store or outside the store crying in frustration and I have had abrasive customer service people tell "What do want me to do about it gruffly I left I have autism and I cannot tell if things fit or how to coordinate outfits. At pga they never have a smile on their faces etc. I called and got the store leadership team and they are rude and blamed me for everything and do not understand the needs of someone who is disabled. the district manager has declined to make any changes to the stores and I spoke the acting regional manager she blew me off. I spent a good amount of money 2500 a year at Athena and I have filed numerous complaints and I found out none of the complaints were never passed on and dealt with . I also found through another store that they have received numerous complaints about Lenox .
the district manager indicated that nothing will changed did seem empathetic to my concerns. The acting regional manager was belittling me and I felt co erred and cannot trust her I live in Orlando the nearest store now is 1.5 hours away and sometimes I go to s. Florida Jupiter store is 45 minutes away and boca is over an hour. I cannot order clothes online due to my disability
I am frustrated beyond belief and each time I call I am met with hostility and amensia. And begging them to help me but they refuse to assist me and according to them I am not a valued customer and they do not recognize nor accommodate customers with disabilities who requires the hands on approach

Unreceived Package....no resolution

I purchased items prior in November for Christmas presents. All came but one item. The tracking number continuously stated delayed - in process. I called in December to check the status and was told not to worry. It is the holidays and it will arrive. On Feb 27 the UPS tracking number was updated to "exception" When I call Athleta to help me resolve this package they state I must work with the credit card bank. One item of 5 was not delivered so the individual charge is not see itemized on the credit card bill. Of course I disputed but I will have to pay interest on this purchase never received and the claim is still pending review as if I will get a return at all! Horrible customer service! I will cancel my store CC immediately and never shop at a Gap Inc store again!

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I received a completely different item than what I ordered. I contacted customer service and they really wanted me to return the wrong item, re-order the item i originally purchased, contact them with the order number so they can adjust the price and shipping. That is SO much work when it’s THEIR screw up. I won’t be ordering from them again. Anytime this happened with other companies they apologize and send the correct item right away without making you do all the work for their mistake. Bye

I had a terrible experience with this…

I had a terrible experience with this company. I ordered four items, but only three were delivered. I took photos immediately upon opening the package, which clearly showed that one item was missing. I followed their process and submitted my claim through the link they provided, but within minutes, I received a rejection email with no explanation. When I called customer service, they were unhelpful and told me to dispute the issue with my bank. I questioned why they were shifting responsibility to my bank, which has nothing to do with their mistake, but the representative said there was nothing they could do. This is completely unacceptable. If you value your money and a fair resolution process, avoid shopping with Athleta. I will never purchase from them again and will actively discourage others from supporting their unethical practices.

I’m going to cancel my credit card

I’m going to cancel my credit card. I never shop there again. I placed the order the night of and realized I ordered the wrong color. I immediately called them and they said they will take care of it and then they will give me a label to return that item and re-order the color that I wanted because I made a mistake now they sent be Item back and say that it is not refundable. Don’t believe what they tell you . Now I am stuck with 2 item .

Oh Athleta you have gone to the dark side

Oh Athleta! I have bought so many of your products over the past 20 years and continued buying even though you have more competition now. However, my last order and the way it was handled by your telephone customer reps convinced me I will never order again. You have inconvenienced several people (in different states) for absolutely no reason in the digital age we are in. I still have one top to be delivered (to a stranger at an address I haven't lived at for 8 years), and that will be the end. I guess you aren't customer centered like you used to be. That's why you are going out of business.

I finally found an Athleta store which…

I finally found an Athleta store which had the coat my daughter wants for Christmas, since the store does not take credit cards over the phone I was advised to access athleta.gap.com and buy a e-gift card and call the store back with the gift card number. I did this twice and received a “Thank you for buying …” the clerk at the NY store stayed on the line with me while I was doing this, I explained what was happening and she suggested I call Athleta CS. Instead I called my CC company to make sure there wasn’t anything wrong on my end. I then called Athleta CS. I was told to call cash.star as this was the company taking care of e-gift cards. I called twice, both times Verizon came into the call and said the line isn’t working. I called CS back and was told they don’t use cash star and to call another number. I did and spoke to a clerk who was extremely apologetic and she said my concern would be escalated and I should have the numbers for the gift card in 30 minutes. I am still waiting….. the staff in all of the Athleta stores I spoke to trying to get this Holy Grail of a Christmas gift were above and beyond kind and courteous. But the corporate level making these cheap and horrible decisions directly hitting consumer, really don’t care about the them. I really like the clothes at this store and I’m not going to stop shopping there, but after this very sad experience, It may be awhile.

Athleta is awful!!

Athleta products are fine but their customer service and the shipping company they contract with ontrac is the worst. Why should I pay for items when the shipping company Athleta works with didn’t do their job? I have used my Athleta Barclays credit card for many years. I am stuck paying $300 for items I never received. Athleta denied my claim. Ontrac said my package was delivered amazingly the same day I filed the claim after sitting at their facility for three weeks. They say it was delivered at 11:30 at night. It was not delivered. Canceling my card and NEVER shopping athleta, banana republic and gap. Buyer beware!!!!

Unwilling and unable to help

I ordered a pair of fleece lined leggings. As soon as I pressed "submit order" I realized I had mistakenly shipped the order to an address at which I no longer reside. Immediately I made an effort to correct this.
According to the order confirmation, I would be able to make edits to an existing order. Easy. I selected that option and was able to review my order by not edit it as suggested. I created an account and still no luck.
When I finally called customer service, I was told that "only the customer can make edits" confused, I confirmed I was in fact the customer and to this was told there is no way to change the shipping address.

Inputting the incorrect shipping address isn't exactly a unique mistake. I would think a well-known company like Athleta should be able to help customers with simple tasks.

Don’t shop here!

My friend bought me a pair of cute Athleta pants. They were a size too small, so I went in to the Mall of America store to exchange. One employee helped me and she said they don’t carry that color but they could exchange them in store and ship the right size to my house. I agreed this would be fine. She handed me off to a newer employee at the register, who used my GIFT receipt to exchange the order and credited my friends card (who was not with me and lives out of town). They could not charge her for the new pants without her card present, and they could no longer give me the pants because they were now returned. So the only thing they could do was charge me for the pants, otherwise I was out of luck and basically just gave them my birthday gift. Apparently there is no way for them to undo THEIR mistake. I have recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma and my friend put a lot of thought into finding something that was soft and comfortable for me to wear and I didn’t want her to think I didn’t like her gift so I ended up buying the pants. However I will NEVER shop there again.

I'm stuck paying for item they never sent

Like many reviews here, I was a frequent buyer from Athleta for myself and kids. My order was missing an item that Athleta claimed was shipped in the package. I filed a claim, it was denied. I called CS, they told me to file a claim with my bank (WTAF?). I contacted CS two more times through the chat feature and the online feedback "survey". They continue to refuse to refund the money and tell me to file a dispute with my bank for the item never sent. I am done buying from Athleta. I've lost too much time and money over their mistake. There are plenty of other stores offering the same or better quality clothing at the same price point.

This company will not make a price…

This company will not make a price adjustment, even when the item goes on sale the next day, if it’s final sale. Meanwhile, I don’t even have the item yet. Sounds like a policy that will piss off customers. The poor customer service seems unique to Athleta because I always have great customer service with Gap and Old Navy and they never have any problems with making price adjustments.

Athleta kept my money and didn’t ship items

I spent $514 on 11 items in the mail and they sent me TWO items and then said they wont replace or refund my order because I started a claim to fix my order before 72 hours after my package my was delivered they want u wait three days before submitting any issues.really rude careless and unprofessional So they kept my $514 and all I get is two items , one of which isn’t even something I ordered

No price match when I bought with $20 more than online price

I'm pretty sure this brand won't last long. Their policy is really stupid.

I bought a product which was on "sale" at a store 2 days ago, cost $54.97. And it was final sale. When a customer hears it's a final sale you expect that's the lowest price it could be.

Then I just realized online price was only 34.97. So I called the customer service for the price match. They said because it's final sale, I cant get an adjustment. Stupid, stupid, stupid. So every time I wanna buy somethint from here, i have to check online price as well? I totally lost the trust with them. And I feel I'm fooled.

From any other brands, I've seen stores sell products cheaper than online but never seen a store selling products way more expensive than online. I won't buy from this brand anymore.

Worst customer service, missing item never refunded

I ordered an item that was never delivered. Unable to fill in a claim for a missing item because the delivery date is always set a few days in the future. Had contact with 4 different agents via the chat feature: all told me I have to phone customer service to resolve. I do not want to use the phone and it is discrimination to have this as the only way of resolving problems. The 3rd agent I contaced told me they had filled in a missing item claim on my behalf. Weeks later, no email confirmation of the claim or evidence for it on my account. Therefore contacted a 4th agent, who told me they are unable to help because it's now outside the 90 day period, and I should file a chargeback with my bank instead..what a ridiculous system! I had contact 3 times within the 90 days. I will NEVER shop at athleta again (and I was a prolific buyer, made it to the highest tier of their reward system). This missing item was $25..I would have re purchased it if they would have refunded me for the missing one...I can't believe they make it so difficult for the sake of $25 and are instead willing to lose a customer who spent thousands on athleta apparel...

Terrible customer seergvice

I ordered a pair of pants that were $129. I had $71 in rewards. It was 8 pm. The very next day they had a 30% off promotion. So I chatted with them and asked if I could get the 30% off. First he said no. So I said it was yesterday not 2 weeks ago. It was actually 12 hours ago. So he checked and said he could give it to me. He actually gave me 30% off $58 which was the cost after my rewards. I told him he's supposed to take it off the price of the pants before my rewards are applied. He wouldn't do it. I looked and saw that the pants are actually on sale for $79 so I told him and he basically ignored that fact. So, I asked him to cancel the order which he did, but it was too late to happen bc it was already in the processing phase. So it's arriving Tuesday. I've been shopping there for YEARS. After this terrible customer service I will not be shopping there anymore. He should have given me the pants for $79.

Athleta has a significant problem with…

Athleta has a significant problem with delivering items ordered . Based on my orders with them, they have succeeded in delivering the items only 50% of the time. Then, you have to wait 8 days from when the item supposedly shipped to then file a
Claim and wait another 72 hours to get your money back. My repeated experience is that the order “ships” but is never picked up by the delivery company. The same thing has happened with 50% of my orders. Customer service, when called about the issue(s), are robotic and cut you off quickly. I’m done and will never order from them again as can’t be sure I’ll get the items and if I don’t get them, their process for addressing is inconvenient placing way too much on the customer. They don’t care.

"Claims" Policy is Terrible Customer Service

Terrible company where the only possible way to get a refund is to wait 72 hours and submit a claim. My claim was auto-denied after they sent my order to the wrong address and now I'm out $100. How can it actually be a company policy to tell customers to file a dispute with their bank? I will never be buying from them again.
