We have used Attwells several times for sales and purchases, and have found Stuart and his team are excellent to deal with. We would and do highly recommend their service.

We have used Attwells for other services successfully but we had a very negative experience with their conveyancing team.
The sale was of a leasehold flat for probate and it started with Attwells losing all the paperwork I had completed for the sale.
In short :
1.They quoted for freehold not leasehold.
2.They assumed the property was 4 not 5 storey which had implications for the complexity of the sale.
3.I had to get the same document witnessed twice because of poor guidance.
4,Generally the service was slow it took from July 2024 until 21/02/2025 to complete the sale. Even though the buyer was a cash purchaser in no chain.
5.As executors we had to constantly chase and email.
6.The paralegal sent an email meant for us to the buyer's solicitor.
7.Once the member of staff was changed in December 2024 things improved.
8.I could not recommend Attwells conveyancing team.

Once we had sorted out who from Attwell's Solicitors would be contacting us, we found this company to be efficient and easy to work with. Christmas did get in the way, but we were extremely pleased with the outcome. Josh Barber was easy to deal with, polite and communicative. He kept us in the picture and when things weren't going as planned he sorted them out as quickly as possible.

The team at atwells with a special mention to Lloyd and India, were incredible. They took a stressful employment situation for myself and took the weight on themselves and got me a better outcome than I could have hoped for. Can’t thank them enough

I was astounded that Will, not only agreed to take on the case with our flat and its complicated leasehold issues, but resolved them, with his expert knowledge and experience in his field. Georgia assisted with the matter, and later went on to complete the sale of the flat for us.

I cannot thank them both enough. I believe they kept costs reasonable, and were polite and professional to deal with throughout.

I would not hesitate to use the firm again in the future and recommend them to anyone seeking a high quality, reliable, firm of property solicitors.
