Very good explanations of issue and explanations of each test,along with actual visuals of what he was looking at along with charts showing what the diagnostics meant.

The process of inspecting the ears using a camera enabling rhe patient to see the inside of the outer ear is excellent and it is great that the appointment if free so long as no wax needs to be removed. At the age of 78 I know it is not reasonable for me to expect to have perfect hearing but the hearing test reassures me that my ears do not yet need hearing aids. And it is easy to make the next annual appointment.

I chose to go to Hidden Hearing in Worthing after reading reviews online. My local NHS GP practice said they had a waiting list of over six months.
My appointment was with Dee. I don't believe I have ever been treated so kindly and politely. The ear wax removal procedure was explained in detail along with checks on my general health.
The procedure was carried out in a professional, gentle and very competent manner on both ears and the results before and after shown to me on the camera. The improvement in my hearing is astounding and I will be going back for regular checkups. I would like to thank Dee for what was a brilliant appointment and I have no hesitation in recommending her and Hidden Hearing to anybody.

Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. My hearing aids have been wonderful from the moment I put them in. Also, the follow-up call made me feel they cared. I highly recomnend them.

The examination of my ears was not completed because of wax in my ears. This is something I have suffered from since I had a nasal polip operation at the age of 14 in 1961. I have subsequently had a call from somebody in your company offering me a surringe at a cost of £70. I have booked a surringe through my GP on 27th Dec free of charge. May I suggest you give me more notice allowing me to have my ears syringed before an examination.

The explanation for the clinical procedure and the signing of consent forms was straightforward & clear.
I remember the irrigation procedure done many years ago was relatively traumatic compared to the micro-suction procedure carried out today - much quicker too.
The hearing assessment after the procedure was quick & simple, and gave me confidence my hearing has not been adversely affected.
I would recommend this service to anyone who needs it.

Apart from the American voice in part of the process, the hearing test itself seemed very thorough but, at that point, it all went wrong.
Hidden Hearing claim to offer a "tailor made" approach and different levels of hearing aid specifications that will suit different lifestyles. The highest level of specification is aimed at people with a busy working life and lower specifications at people who have lesser needs. In our case we are retired and lead relatively quiet lives.
The tests revealed that there was clearly a problem with my hearing. At that point, we would have expected different options to be discussed including different specifications and cost. But there was no discussion. Instead, we were told by the adviser that his recommendation was for the highest level aid at a price of £5,999. When we queried this later we were told that "the highest level specification will perform better in all situations – we have just as much positive feedback for the top of the range hearings aids from clients who live alone and stay home and watch the television".
We're still trying to work out where "tailor made" fits into this approach but it's left us with no faith is the assessment process and are therefore going elsewhere.

I went for ear wax removal on the off chance that I might be seen. Luckily there was a "no show" appointment free.
The receptionist was very friendly and put me at ease.
Dee (ear care practitioner) was very professional and explained the procedure clearly. Also she was very friendly and experienced.
Every step of the way was explained and I was shown photos as well. A very good experience

The consultant was very professional. He didn't try to "over sell" and agreed when I said I'd leave it till I'm older as my hearing wasn't too bad. I trust him. That's VERY important. Thank you 😊
