I have had no internet on/off or slow…

I have had no internet on/off or slow for 2 weeks. I have had no internet now for days. I have rung aussie broadband many times. They just ignore me. They blame it on NBN and say they can do nothing, It is the worst service I have ever received.

Never again

Never again - worst internet ever. They keep saying no issues but we all live on our mobile data and even when it’s ‘working’ you spend 90 minutes watching a 45 minute show. Have just cancelled this service - hopeless. This has been going of ever since I signed up (months and months ago).

Worst experience

It’s been more than a week I don’t have internet and I run an Airbnb my only source of income and Aussie broadband and Opticomm haven’t been able to fix. Worst expense and companies to deal with. Stay away and choose someone else

Worse company ever

Worse company ever, bought a business asked to change over existing account to us. Six months later still not fixed and have now briefed the TIO and will likely change provider. They are totally useless and hang up on calls to them. Beware.

Don't waste your time with company

Don't waste your time with this company. Total time wasters!

I was in the process of establishing a number. The business rep sent me a form to complete which I did within minutes. I sent it back immediately only to receive an auto-reply that he's out of the office for a week. I called them and asked if the matter could be transferred to someone else so it could progress. No one knew anything about it and four days later I'm still waiting for a call back to progress it. FAIL.
I've gone else and our business dodged a bullet.

I still cant get in to make a payment because the log doesnt recognise me, event hough ive been a customer for some time.

They keep telling me what to try and none of it works.

What a disapointment

Everything about Aussie after signing up went pear shape. App is useless. Chat is a nightmare. Customer service impossible to get through to. Im on week 2 trying to get phone numbers for the sim cards.

I paid extra for the service

I paid extra for the service, but the service is horrible! My internet is down, there are no "known outages" I've been waiting on the line for 35 minutes and the "estimated waiting time" has been between 15 and 29 minutes all this time. It's now 29 (more) minutes. I can't report it online or via the app since I don't have any internet except via my cellphone. So I have to wait in the queue for an unknown time...not recommended

I haven’t had any internet for 8 weeks…

I haven’t had any internet for 8 weeks through Aussie broadband. Absolutely appalling. I spoke to customer support and they said my internet was working fine. 😂😂 then when I said I was changing to Telstra they said ok have a good night??? Anyway, don’t go to Aussie broadband unless you want no internet and pay heaps for no service 🙄👎👎

unuasable slow speed for 3 days followed by 11 days of no internet. Had to change ISP to get back online

I experienced very low internet speed to the point that I couldn't look up anything. I lodge a complaint to Aussie and the sent me a reply saying nothing is wrong with my internet speed and quote line capacity to me. I had to explain what the difference was between line speed and line capacity and I was still having issue. Then Aussie told me that line speed is slower when using wifi. I set them a picture of my phone using wifi and my pc using lan and the speed were roughly the same. Then I notice on the bottom of the email I was talking to someone in sales not tech support no wonder they didn't have a clue. Then I had no internet I tried to ring but kept getting the engaged tone then finally got through waited on the line for an hour then got disconnected. So sent them a email about my issue and no reply so after 5 days of no contact and no internet I contact the TIO and lodge a complaint. Since they didn't provide any internet and the 3 days they did was unusable I was not going to paying for that months bill. Aussie come back with will knock $50 off you bill. I told them to go jump and they won't see a cent from me. Aussie then threaten me. Saying my payment details are on they system they will be automatically deducting the money out of my account. Lucky for me I was bpay my bills and they had no access to my bank. After 11 days of no internet and no help form Aussie I had to switch isp. Went with Telstra. I still had no internet when I got the Telstra modem. Called Telstra the next day a technician came round and found that I had been disconnected from the exchanged once he plug me back in I have had no issues. Why couldn't Aussie do that? Aussies kept seeding me a bill for $42 dollars saying I agreed to pay this amount which I never agree to. I would always say I am not paying them. Once TIO step in Aussie closed and credited my account the amount for my bill so I didn't have to pay anything. Such a crap company to deal with. Vinny from Aussie broadband was giving me false and misleading information. Not helpful and just unpleasant to deal with. The copy and paste job he try to pull to falsify document to make it look like I agree to pay. He should be criminally charged with fraud. Imagine how many customer they have used these tactics on that have payed when they shouldn't have to.

Finally decided to go with Aussie broadband!! And boy am I disappointed paying for 1000mbs and the eero hardware they supplied im geting 250mbs on a good day through wifi. if you run a cord from eero router to one item u will get 950mbs but what a joke was paying less for optus and never went below 80% of paid for speeds and that's wifi and support just say inconvenience, unfortunately we cannot (predict or guarantee wifi performance) and told me i need to buy a new longer cord for there hardware ...um ok

Aussie Broadband runs a very profitable scam.
They charge you a $10 late fee if your invoice bounces. The problem is that you are Literally unable to change the date that the invoice comes out. So it ends up bouncing 100% of the time, meaning I get charged an extra $10 Every. Single. Month.

The only way I do not get charged this is if I spend like 30min+ setting up some bloody payment plan, but again.. You have to do that Every. Single. Bloody. Month.

Quite the smart scam theyve set up, legal sure.. But still very much a rort.

Life is hard enough for the average australian without you lot scamming the public out of even more money..
Shame.

Not A Scam Business

There is nothing shifty, underhand or remotely scam like about this business. All those negative reviews astound me.
I found them helpful over the phone though I do admit I didn’t have any technical problems to set up. I was a simple fttc. The app works well. The monthly price is average. Astonishing speed. I really liked dealing with one person who knew his job.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Horrendous service!

Avoid like your life depends on it! I’ve had the most horrendous and stressful experience with Aussie broadband and I advise everyone I can to stay as far away from them as possible. I’ve spent hours trying to get my NBN fixed. Terrible installation job, cancelled appointments, they’ve lied to me and gaslighted me repeatedly, it has been horrendous. One month in and $250 down for a modem that doesn’t work.

EXTREMELY GOOD VALUE AND SUPPORT

Out of all of the phone/internet companies, Aussie Broadband has been the best experience I've ever had. Extremely quick to get very helpful support on the phone or online chat. You also get the option to stick with the same helpdesk person if you like. We were with Optus and Telstra for years, but the pricing with Aussie is unbeatable. They had my internet running pretty much as soon as I agreed to the contract, and a plan upgrade for more speed happened in 15 minutes. SIM cards were sent out same day from WA and arrived in ACT in 5 days. Very easy to activate SIMs and port my old numbers (takes about 15 minutes, as long as your old SIM isn't with a weird unknown service provider). You can easily manage everything from the beautiful interface on their website. EXTREMELY GOOD VALUE AND SUPPORT <3 <3

Upgraded and got slower speeds

Upgraded and got slower speeds two hours of online support, may na foromal compaint and basicaly got told to suck it. This is after reciveing a offer of a free upgrade which the monthly price was increased.

Cheaper and better out there.

oh and you have to wait 20minutes on hold to speak to anyone

Selling a 1gbps service and delivering…

Selling a 1gbps service and delivering less than half! And then I have to do all of the work to run tests for them. Dealt with 10, yes 10 different people during the fault finding process. Of course never identified a fault at their end. Wouldn’t/couldn’t get NBN involved. All my problem of course. As a last resort I tried to buy a new modem from them and couldn’t even get a salesperson to contact me. C’mon Aussie!
