I had a great experience with onboarding and check ins. The service I got from Vennela Errolla was always quick and friendly. She seemed interested in my onboarding process and followed questions with a positive attitude.

Vrudavan Bhatt was very communicative and followed up on the process all the time. He was diligent, informative, and polite, so I give 5/5.

Life in the AI industry is hard, especially for data taggers, raters, domain experts and knowledge workers working in this sector, the actual secret behind the rapid growth of this industry. The secrecy isn't incidental; the fact that people do not know about this hidden workforce is closely correlated with the precarious working conditions for workers in this sector. This secrecy is maintained through a complex and arcane network of contracts, subcontracts and outsourcing. Within this context though, there are some employers who stand out in this industry for the care they show towards their workers, and Avance is one of them. I appreciate the genuine desire to help shown by all Avance employees I have interacted with. Of the three organizations with whom my current role involves me with (the biggest of which is, well, the biggest player in this industry, the organization reaping the highest share of the economic profits derived from our work, and yet, the only one we aren't allowed to claim any association with), Avance is the smallest organization, and yet among the three, the organization that has displayed the greatest sense of accountability towards contracted workers. I must especially commend Vennela Errolla, the relationship manager at Avance, for her cheery spirit and her willingness to put in her utmost to look out for each one of us contracted to Avance to work for Globallogic, Joshal D'Souza, for being a valuable resource during the initial recruitment phase, and Nazar Shaik, Nazir Syed, and Naveen Garlapati for being helpful, prompt, and efficient in addressing concerns. The industry needs a lot of improvement, especially from the POV of how workers are treated, but Avance is doing pretty well in this regard in my experience. For anyone interested in this industry as a knowledge worker (which is a very promising avenue, despite its early flaws), I can only highly recommend looking for listings by Avance on job boards like LinkedIn.
