Aberdare Whitcombe Street branch is the worst Phamacy I’ve ever known.
They NEVER. Answer the phone, mix up your prescriptions, short you of the same, old hens behind the counter yapping 50 to the dozen, dopey young girls, bald Pharmacist who looks like he’s on something AND THATS ON A GOOD DAY!

My medication has not been delivered. I suspect that the lovely, kind lady who normally delivers is on holiday or unwell. The result, I have no medication. It is sitting on the shelf, and I have no way to get it collected.

i have been referred to avicenna at cunningham crescent in bournemouth by the doctor for my child with an ear infection. they won’t answer the phone and if you go there in person the pharmacist is rude and obnoxious. go elsewhere.

My local branch would not answer the phone to enable me to chase up my very late prescription. I am told they are very short of staff, are having difficulty changing their computer system and are employing agency pharmacists. My attempt to complain to HQ went unanswered. Yet they are offering the new vaccinations recommended by NHS. Who will do those? I am nearly due to request my next prescription and have not received the last one. It takes a long time for them to get the medication even if they order it without delay.

Crooks, I am looking for a regulating body to report them.
Although I spent around an hour talking to Mazin Al-Khafaji, he failed to inform me that the 400£ tea he prescribed to me can cause the following side effects: fever, flue like symptoms, diarrhoea , stomach pain, nausea and vomiting!
When I realised that, I asked for its ingredients and any research work published for it, I just realised today that a list was attached to an email but the email body didn’t refer to an attachment , Hence, I continued waiting for it. The list sent has only the names with no percentages or research information.
If he had told me I would at least suggest having a trial pack or not having it at all! It took me about a week to develop those symptoms although I had the tea once a day ( he asked me to have it twice a day)!
I reported it to him, he did not come back to me !

He also given me a facial wash which has the very same ingredients that caused my allergy. I notified him of the ingredients that caused the allergy before the appointment and during my appointment. However, he made me buy the facial wash that has the very same ingredients

I have the auto immune disease Rheumatoid arthritis and saw the Chinese medicine practitioner Dr Mazin. My research showed that he specialised in treating clients with this condition. When I went to see him I was in a desperate state with high levels of inflammation and extremely painful joints. I was not on medication which was his preference as pointed out by the staff at the centre.
I had to wait over 6months to get an appointment with him which at the time I saw as a good sign of him being in high demand. I had tried Chinese herbs in the past for another disease and it had helped so I was keen to give it a go with my current condition.
I tried the Chinese herbs he prescribed for over 3 months. I felt no improvement, in fact my symptoms became quite unbearable but I kept with the herbs as he told me that they needed time to work .
In the end, unfortunately, I had to revert back to taking orthodox medication as I could not cope with the high levels of pain I was experiencing .
I’m disappointed that Dr Mazin’s herbs did not improve my condition despite him telling me that I should expect a positive result within 3 weeks. This is what I was hoping to feel and see some positive result no matter how small. I asked if I could contact one of his clients he had helped with the same condition for some reassurance and he agreed but that never materialised.
I had 4 consultations and spent over £2000 on his herbal treatment and fees over roughly 3.5 months. Unfortunately the high costs were not something I could justify especially as I saw no improvement and in fact may condition had become worse.
Perhaps most importantly, I feel let down by his care.He has shown no interest in my well being since I stopped seeing him. I would have expected at least a friendly call to see how I was getting on. All I got when I stopped seeing him was a brief email saying he was sorry the herbs had not helped.
