I bought a dress from Avinci through Debenhams Marketplace. The dress was too small. I tried to return it on Debenhams website but there's a message which gives Avinci email address for returns. I've emailed and have been ignored. I have called and the phone rings out. I will not be buying anything from Avinci again. I'm not even happy with the quality of the item I bought.

best purchase for summer hands down. look super put together like proper linen trousers but feel like pj bottoms bc of the elastic waist. obsessed!

I really wish i had read the reviews here before ordering from this company via pretty little thing! I have ordered a co ord set and have only received the trousers. No response to my emails requesting the missing item. I’ll have to pursue through PLT and my bank now which is time consuming. Terrible company and i will never be ordering from then again.

Super comfy and look great for summer. The elastic waist is a lifesaver, and they didn't shrink in the wash. Will prob grab another colour.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I suspect that the very few 5 star Trustpilot reviews for this retailer are fake; it's no surprise that these positive reviews have been responded to.
I experienced the same issues stated by a majority of the other reviewers. I ordered a couple of products from this retailer via PrettyLittleThing.com (PLT) and the items were poorly tailored and of poor quality. As instructed by PLT, I contacted Avinci via email to arrange a refund almost TWO WEEKS AGO! I've sent follow up emails, a message on their website and attempted to call their customer service and as was the experience of other customers, my emails have been ignored and to date, none of my correspondence have been responded to. This is unacceptable and completely against consumer rights! I will be contacting PLT and the financial ombudsman to escalate my complaints. Poor, poor, poor!

Completely unresponsive when trying to make a return

I ordered two sizes of the same dress from Avinci, intending to keep the one that fitted and return the other.

My order was delivered on 13 August. On 18 August, I submitted a return request through their online system. Avinci acknowledged the request by email, saying that it was being reviewed and that they would email me once it had been completed.

I heard nothing further.

I emailed on 19 August asking for return instructions. I called their customer service number on 21 August and left a voicemail quoting my order number. I emailed again on 24 August, setting out the previous attempts I had made to contact them.

None of those communications received a response.

It is now 14 September and I have today sent a final written request. I still have the unworn dress waiting to be returned.

A straightforward online return should not require a customer to repeatedly chase a retailer through multiple channels over almost four weeks simply to obtain return instructions.

The dress itself isn’t the reason for this review. The complete lack of customer service when I needed to make a return is.

I will update this review if Avinci now resolves the matter.

Update – 29 September - I’ve moved this from one to three stars - the dress was lovely - the deduction for the customer service.

I have now been able to return the dress using the prepaid Evri return provided by Avinci, and I received the full £49.50 refund due for that dress.

For balance, I was happy with the product itself. I ordered two sizes of the same dress because I wasn’t sure which would fit, kept the one that fitted and wore it. I liked the dress and was happy with its quality. My review has always been about the returns/customer-service experience rather than the product.

Unfortunately, resolving the return took from 18 August, when Avinci acknowledged my return request, until 23 September, when I finally received the prepaid return instructions after several unanswered attempts to contact the company and two formal follow-up emails.

There has since been a further administrative error. Instead of refunding only the remaining £2.99 due on the returned dress, Avinci refunded another £49.50 as well as the £2.99, meaning that both dresses have now effectively been refunded even though I kept one. I notified Avinci of the £49.50 overpayment on 29 September and have retained the money pending their instructions.

I am pleased that my original return has finally been completed and refunded, and I appreciate that Avinci ultimately provided free return postage and dealt with the initial refund shortfall. However, what should have been a straightforward return has required an extraordinary amount of customer effort and remains administratively unresolved more than six weeks after I first requested it.

Do not order. They won't respond to returns no matter how much you message them.

I wanted to return the item from this brand that I’d brought from boohoo. The only way to do this is to email avinci directly there is no documents in the packaging or link online. They never replied and therefore are breaking the consumer rights act to a right to a refund. I also contacted boohoo about the situation and they contacted Avinci and the same happened to them. Boohoo eventually had to refund me out of their own pocket and I hope they decide to take this brand off of their platform. I was unaware of the reviews for this brand before purchasing them on boohoo and I assumed I’d be able to return the item along with my boohoo items but it had to be separate

I ordered two dresses, which arrived on time, but they were unsuitable. I have been trying to return them for weeks. You have to apply for the return to be accepted and I am still waiting for a response on where to send the dresses back for a refund. They have been packaged and sitting at the door. The dresses weren’t suitable for me but the quality was nice, but unless you are 100% sure the dresses will fit and be suitable then you will be wasting your money.

I ordered a dress from Avinci through Debenhams and it was unsuitable and I called to arrange a return after the email I sent wasn’t replied to after 4 days. The man answering the phone was very helpful and refunded me straight away for the inconvenience. I appreciated the hassle free return and prompt resolution. Thank you.
