Horrible company. The jewelry is crap and their customer service is awful. My card was charged and I never received my items. I had to call and email and then they sent only part of the order and have stopped responding since. You can only return for store credit and both times I’ve ordered I received faulty/ cheap jewelry. I only ordered a second time to use the store credit I was given for my first purchase. Stay away!! So many better and legitimate businesses out there.
Please do not buy from Baby Gold
I wished I had read these reviews before I made my purchased. I made the same mistake of not reading their return policy carefully, I never heard of a reputable company that does give a refund when you are not satisfied with their product, very misleading they should stated it when you make the purchase. I never encounter this issue before. The quality of the product is poor, the customer service the worst. I hope new customer will be smarter than I and do not purchase these cheap, expensive jewelry.

Baby gold is the absolute worst company I have ever seen on the market. The customer service is extremely poor and incompetent. I emailed the company about my recent order when it was delivered. I received an automated response, letting me know it will take up to 72 hours for a formal response to my request. I decided to return the piece after waiting to receive an answer from them. When I submitted my return I notice it’s for store credit only, not a full refund. This company is disappointing and I believe the reviews on their official website is fabricated. I will never order anything from them again, nor will I recommend them. It will be my life’s mission to keep people from getting screwed by this company. The company seems to be fraudulent. And will take your hard earned money without batting an eyelash. STAY AWAY!!!

First off, if you're thinking about ordering from Baby Gold, know this...
ALL RETURNS ARE FOR STORE CREDIT ONLY
They say they tell you this, and they do. Go to an item. Click on the little chevron beside the words "Fulfillment and Shipping". You will see a paragraph that includes the words...
"If you’re unhappy with your order, we will gladly accept non-custom items to be returned for STORE CREDIT within 10 days from the date of delivery..."
(Caps are mine.)
Why this is confusing, is that Baby Gold has a very professional looking website with a lot of forward thinking language to describe their policies and pieces. For a shop to be as regressive as to not take returns for the money you gave them...?
Well for people like me, that brings back memories of the 'inter web,' and it's showcasing of these things called web pages that had a few items from the very thick catalogs that you got in the mail. Full returns have been a thing for so long, I've probably finally recycled all those old catalogs.
So not to be a snob, but I was quite frankly taken aback. Ok, no biggie, my bad for not reading the fine print. But now, consider yourself forwarned.
Moving onto another very awkward aspect of dealing with Baby Gold, and that is communication. They very cheerfully tell you that you can call, chat, or email them.
But when you call, you get the robot voice telling you over and over to leave your message, so that ultimately, you feel like the time you kept calling your friend after she'd suffered a bad breakup. Shouting into the electronic wind, "Put down the ice cream Natalie, and get in the shower. I'll be there in 20 minutes and we're going out!"
So maybe like me you were born under a fire sign, and after getting an email cheerfully informing me of the store policy for returns, and after leaving a couple of those seemingly pointless messages, you decide to blow up the chat on their webpage.
Because once again you are told that Baby Gold is there for you, but also, that they're suffering high volume, with no end in sight, and also, and this was the fuse to my dynamite, that they will be closing in 29 minutes, 28 minutes, 27 minutes, tick, tick...(2pm PST). BOOM. Click, click go my exasperated chats, which translated into the equally exasperated voice of the person who kindly called me from LA 10 minutes later.
So basically, I wanted to get a few classic jewelry pieces, and I found myself in Baby Gold's strange world of confusion and poor communication. It's not the fault of the person doing the communicating. That person was kind and patient. More than I deserved actually.
But for the people in charge, the ones who make the policies at Baby Gold, they might want to revisit the nuts and bolts of their customer friendly approach.
Just sayin.
Really Bad craftsmanship
Bought the initial pave earrings as a gift. In less than a month one of the diamonds fell out of the initials. Sent that in for a repair without shipping fees. 2 months in, another Diamond falls out of the other initial, and now being charged a shipping fee for another repair. Hasn’t been more than 3 months with these earrings lol. Between the constant repairs needed, the time it takes to get repaired and for you to receive it back, the shipping fees, and dull diamonds - Not worth it. Find initial studs somewhere else and avoid the bad craftsmanship.
Their customer service is incompetent
Their customer service is incompetent and pretty much non-existent. They do not read emails, and concerns, and do not answer the phone lines regarding orders. I have been trying to reach them since I placed the order two days ago but still nothing except for an email that says you cannot cancel. Wow. This is bad. I am not canceling merely trying to make sure the ring gets made in my correct size.
FRAUDS
SCAM. STAY AWAY, ordered two pairs of diamond studs in November as Christmas gifts. Customer service is non existent and when they do reply it’s like dealing with a wall. paid for custom modifications that never happened and I still can’t get my order rectified 3 months later.

I received a personalized script ring done incorrectly and of poor craftsmanship. I sent a email to customer service and have not gotten a response. Called and no answer from the customer service line.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I received a bracelet as a Christmas gift from my husband. Within 2 weeks the clasp broke. I emailed customer service and received a response basically saying I must have been responsible for the damage. When I assured them I hadn’t done anything to cause this they never responded. I sent 4 follow up emails after waiting nearly 2 weeks. I tried calling the customer service # (only music playing) and tried using the online chat function but that was never available. I finally sent a message through Instagram and asked that they contact me. When I finally heard back it was once again insinuated that I caused the damage and that the reason they didn’t respond was that I kept sending emails. Makes no sense. They agreed to do a repair but I’m honestly concerned that I will send it back and it will go missing. I definitely should have read reviews. I work in high end retail management and this service is horrendous. I’ve honestly never worked with a company that treats their customers like this.
No response to cancellation message and shipped anyway.
I've ordered 2 items early December for a Christmas gift. And from what I've read, I should've gottens it at least a week before Christmas. And now it's January 14, almost a month and a half since I placed the order. I called and left a message several times that I'm cancelling because it is no longer acceptable for me as a gifting option. I never got a reply, to phone calls or emails. And weeks after I left the message to cancel, they've now shipped the item. And nobody answers their phone. What's going on with this company?

Bought a personalized bracelet in October and the quality is very good, does look great - only thing I didn’t like was that the engraving on the backside wasn’t a 100% right. The customer service replied very friendly within a few hours regarding a change of the bracelet size and could fix the issue. Overall would definitely recommend.

I Purchased an Initial Diamond Bracelet wore a couple of times it snapped!
It was a sentimental gift so important to me. After many emails from my end they finally agreed to repair it! I had only had it for a few months before it broke.
I had to pay $68 Aud to ship it to them got it back wore it a couple of times and snapped again in the same spot. $850 bracelet you any wear the product is thin cheap and poorly made.
I have been following this company up yet again constantly for a refund or replacement they want me to again pay to ship it to them.
No follow up no response unless I persist with them.
So frustrating. Do your research before making a purchase from Babygold!

I bought several pieces of jewelry from Baby Gold between Nov 2022 - Dec 2022. Unfortunately the quality and business service are extremely poor, and I do not recommend buying anything too expensive from this site because so far I have not been able to get support from them regarding an expensive purchase I made. I called the number on the site, but I was never able to get anyone on the phone. I sent the business a message via their website, and I did receive an email right away - but they suddenly stopped responding. I followed up a few more times (very politely) and no response AT ALL. Read reviews online and you will see I am unfortunately not the only one. I read the reviews, but I really liked the name necklace and the hoop earrings (other places did not make the pieces exactly the way I wanted them) so I decided to take a chance, and now I deeply regret it.
The other issue is the exchange process. Their ring sizing is a bit off and I wanted to exchange two rings I purchased. They do not currently offer an exchange option, only return for store credit. This makes it difficult to buy pieces that might not fit you well since you will need to spend $15 to return the items and order a new one. And if you bought it on sale, then you will pay full price for the new pieces.
I am writing this review hoping it helps others not make my same mistake.
EXPENSIVE LESSON! I SHOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS
My first mistake was not checking for reviews. If I had seen even a few of these many bad reviews I would have bought from another company.
2nd mistake- dropping over a thousand dollars on personalized items that they say can't be returned. BIG RED FLAG.
One was a name necklace of 8 letters spelled in "diamonds". Beware -- these appear to be diamond CHIPS and the name /gold is SO FLIMSY its appalling.
3rd mistake- ordered on black Friday and zero Acknowledgement until I emailed twice to follow up. I knew then by their abysmal lack of professionalism that I had made an expense mistake by ordering. Items arrived 2 weeks later than promised and so flimsy looking.
The necklace chains are much shorter than I paid for. They state "total chain length" well I measured a total of 14.75 inches on what was supposed to be a 16 inch chain, and paid extra on the other chain which was supposed to be 18 inches but was barely 16 inches! Absolutely no answer from them when I emailed asking what could be done. Meanwhile they're posting and responding to comments on Instagram! "Holiday break" from client concerns but not from comments on insta!
AVOID wasting your money with this unscrupulous, shifty and scammy company. Nothing looks as good as the photos in their ads either. I an on contacting the BBB about this as well as checking w Amex to see if I have any recourse. DECEPTIVE company.

This store and the owner are thieves. I ordered two .12 ct solitary diamond necklace and received the .07 ct instead, I reached out and they don’t want to exchange or provide a partial refund. They knowingly sent the wrong item and is acting like I was the one who made the mistake. They are disgusting and thieves.. BAD COMPANY.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND WON'T HONOR WARRANTY
Necklace clasp broke mere 3 mos after purchase, tried to seek repair/replacement per their prominently touted "lifetime warranty." Customer service acknowledged defect but then tried to blame us for the damage, tried to charge additional $ for the repair to defective product and refused to replace item despite defect.

I spent about $600 on a Herringbone “gold” necklace and within a few days of receiving the necklace it broke. Baby Gold does not provide refunds and approach their customers with a “too bad for you” attitude. I left an honest review which was never posted. Sindi from Baby Gold was insulting and refused to answer any of my questions directly and told me they choose which reviews they want to post. BUYER BEWARE. YOU WILL LOSE A LOT OF MONEY ON LOW QUALITY JEWELRY.
