Exceeded All Our Expectations
Me and my sister traveled together to Istanbul for our surgeries: I had a rhinoplasty and my sister had a BBL procedure with Dr. Baris Altayli. Honestly, I don’t even know where to start because the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
We had been in contact with Ahmet, the patient coordinator, for several months before the surgeries. During all that time, he helped us with every piece of information we needed and answered all our questions. At one point, our airline suddenly canceled our flight and moved it one day earlier, and the clinic even offered to cover an extra night at the hotel so we could still enjoy and visit Istanbul before the procedures. That meant a lot to us.
Everything happened exactly the way Ahmet promised. We were picked up from the airport by a private car and taken to a beautiful hotel in a very nice area of Istanbul. We spent two days exploring the city, and on the surgery day, the same driver took us to the clinic.
Meeting Dr. Baris was a very pleasant experience. He explained everything clearly, made us feel comfortable, and most importantly, we genuinely liked and trusted him. I think that matters a lot when choosing a doctor. He delivered more than he promised, and both of us are extremely happy with our final results.
I am incredibly grateful because I finally have the straight, natural nose I always wanted. He understood exactly what I explained and made it happen perfectly.
We stayed two nights in the hospital. Even though I was originally supposed to stay only one night after rhinoplasty, they allowed me to stay as long as my sister stayed, which we really appreciated. The clinic was extremely clean, the room was very large and comfortable, and we were treated with so much care and attention.
The nurses did not speak much English, which is why Ahmet’s involvement throughout the entire process was honestly invaluable. He answered every question we had, even late at night. He picked up the phone at 2 AM when I was worried about my sister because the recovery after a BBL can be very painful and I was honestly scared and overwhelmed. He reassured us, helped us through everything, and never made us feel alone during the process. He was there when we woke up from anesthesia, bought us fruits and medications, and truly took care of us as if he had known us for years. He made the entire experience feel easy, safe, and pleasant, and I cannot express how grateful I am for everything he did for us.
The food at the clinic was also very good and adapted to our needs. My sister even received extra compression garments because she needed them, without any additional costs.
After leaving the clinic, we stayed again at the hotel with breakfast included. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
The only thing that surprised me in Istanbul in general was that very few people speak English. That’s another reason why Ahmet’s constant support meant so much to us throughout the entire experience.
Also, I will never forget nurse Rosa, such a kind and gentle soul.
10/10 experience. Dr. Baris Altayli and his entire team truly exceeded our expectations, and I can confidently recommend this clinic to anyone considering surgery in Turkey. It took us 3 months to decide which clinic to trust, and now I know we made the right choice.
