Very nice tour, nice guide-driver, funny stories and so kind ! Howth is a nice place

Our half day trip to Howth was excellent thanks to our witty and helpful driver DJ Lee Chelsea. You're the best at what you do, but I still hasn't found what I'm looking for... regardless, thank you for going out your way to help us find it. This trip is highly recommended.

Half day trip to Howth, Ireland using Big Bus Tours is great! Gerry was our driver who provided a guided tour of center city Dublin all the way to Howth. Gerry knew a lot of interesting facts about Dublin and Howth. He provided recommendations for restaurants, places to visit while in Howth and when to be back on the bus! The views back to Dublin from Howth are great. The trip to Howth is a great to see sites outside of downtown Dublin.

I purchased two days on the Big Bus in Dublin and only road the bus twice because the routes were always late, causing me to be late for my scheduled events. Talking with the company is not helpful as they insist that they deserve to hold onto your money even though the service was not provided. DO NOT BOOK, we ended up having to purchase city bus tickets and took Ubers which were reasonable in price and got us to where we needed to go on time.

All drivers were great! Made each trip fun, and enjoyed listening to all the information they shared on each stop. Also very helpful when asking for directions.

We enjoyed multiple busses, the best was with Brian narrating and singing for us on the top deck throughout the route. Every guide brings different flavor and he had poems, jokes, and songs galore!
Thank goodness we all survived the pre-Guinness tree!

June 4, 2025 we bought a 2 day trip in Dublin The second day the driver, an upset short and very heavy man was talking loud over the bus microphone saying things that had nothing to do with the city’s sights A passenger received a phone call and this driver yelled at him in the microphone in a nasty matter. Then, I was talking to my wife and he yelled at us very nastily
Big Brown Bus don’t take complaints…. FYI Awful

Me and my partner went on the coastal tour from Dublin to Howth, our driver Alan was amazing.
We learnt a lot about Dublin and Howth, which was so beautiful.
The views where spectacular.
Our day was a beautiful sunny one with laughter and good people.
We had a lovely chat with Alan who advised us of lots of places to see.
I would recommend to anyone who visits this beautiful land.

Wow our trip with the big bus was brilliant.
Our driver James was brilliant and very knowledgable and was fantastic with little jokes here and there definitely doing it again off to the Guinness storehouse this afternoon.
We are going on the night trip too.
What a fantastic way of seeing Dublin very highly recommended.

Poor driver makes or breaks a bus tour like this. Sadly we had Micheal who constantly referred to his whiskey in his coffee, how over priced the tickets were that we had paid for ( they are very poor value at 35euros each)
To make matters worse the bus broke down 1/2 around and when feedback was given to Micheal that his talk should be more about Dublin and its history then his jokes on ridiculous price we paid and his Irish coffee he got very upset started swearing at me in very colourful language. Absolutely not a professional. Do any of the number of walking tours they are far better value and much more enjoyable

I’m spanish. I bought 2 tickets with audio in spanish on Augost 11. There were a guide in live who speaked english. Our audio spended the most time with music. The information was minimum, even when we pass next the Guiness we don’t have any information and the same in a lot of stops. We paid 64 euros like english people. I think the company must to improve that. Thank you.
