I had my initial consultation booked only to get a phone call on the day cancelling it. The lady who called was very obviously not in the uk. She stated she needed to rebook, then told me she couldnt open the diary, then the system had maintenance and she'd call back in the new year, then monday, then within 2 to 3 hours. When i questioned all this she couldnt give me answers, she'd mumble a response but when asked to repeat it wouldnt, i stated many times i wanted a refund as i couldnt tryst what she was saying, she stated she would after literally a 20 minute conversation asking for one, when i ask where she was based she said manchester but couldnt tell me the street, this was all incredibly concerning given that this is meant to be a private medical company. She said I'd get an email confirming my refund request, but thats not arrived, i have opened a case with my bank, please dont waste your money with this company, its definitely not what they try to sell it as online.

I decided to go with Bio ID as while I have been on estradiol for 2 yrs and no follow up from NHS just more meds, I wanted more insight to more of a holistic approach as I’m not really into conventional medicine. Booked my consultation, received my blood test kit as promised and got my bloods taken. Had my consultation which was great and insightful and decided to go with full works as I was lacking in so many areas of hormones. I received my HRT last week and so far no issues! I have take the approach to phase the 4 I have in just in case I do get some side effects. This way I know which one causes it.. Fingers crossed they won’t. It’s like anything really everyone unique and when replacing something that is no longer there in my opinion it will take some possible trial and error. Nothing is a quick fix, so time will tell… What I do like is the insight and understanding this company gives 😊

From my first contact and through the entire process to prescription the level of customer care has been fantastic - at no point did I feel pressurised, all my options were explained to me clearly and in detail, and the staff I dealth with were friendly and empathetic throughout. Knowing that I will be monitored and guided through the treatment is so reassuring to me. I feel like I'm now finally going to get the help to regain the old me back. I cannot recommend BioID highly enough. From start to finish my experience has been absolutely outstanding.
First I want to give special recognition to Jennifer one of the the patient support team members who guided me through the initial process, she was incredibly knowledgeable,patient,and kind,and took the time to explain everything in clear detail, including exactly what would happen next. A full range of blood tests was arranged, and I was honestly amazed at how quickly and smoothly everything was completed.
Following this is had the pleasure of speaking with a clinication called Iqra who went through my blood tests results in depth. She explain exactly what everything ment in a way that was easy to understand and then carefully discussed what products she recommended and how to use each product. I never once felt rushed, and all my questions were fully answered.
What truly sets BooID apart is the ongoing support I was giving a number to call if I had any problems and when I did need to call back about an issue it was handled promptly, professional and with genuine care everyone I spoke to was kind, considered and extremely knowledgeable

From the first consultation to today I have, for the first time in 4 years, felt like my symptoms had some autonomy with someone who wanted to listen and help.
Lisa is supportive and transparent with the plans available to support hormone health alongside being a warm contact who makes you feel at ease with your needs and decisions.
Justnya is very knowledgeable with a wealth of support acknowledging how the even smallest imbalance can make you feel. She made recommendations that made sense and listened carefully to my symptoms which really made me feel comfortable in moving forward with her ongoing support.

So far so good will see when I receive my test kit then afterwards so will update.

Very easy to organise blood test and consultation from comfort of my own home.
Nurse was very good at going through all my blood results and explained how a bespoke approach was needed. I’m excited to start feel ling like my old self again!

I’ve just begun my journey and found the two ladies quite pleasant. However, it felt like a sales pitch. It wasn’t a doctor interpreting my blood results; I could tell they were reading from a screen. In this tech-savvy world, I expected a co-pilot or a summary like Chap GPT or SOFI explaining the food supplements and hormones recommended, along with any potential side effects. While they did mention these points, considering many people experience brain fog, it would be beneficial to review them at your own pace.time!

Simple straight forward advice

UPDATE - further to the response below - my contract stated that I'd get a 2nd bllod test at 8 weeks, it doesn't say anywhere that this is up to the clinician. My complaint wasn't answered within the 2 working days stated in the complaints procedure and the escalation board for complaints doesn't exist at either the email or telephone number provided. I've also not heard back about my refund within the 14 days stipulated on their site. I've had no option but to go to the CQC, GMC and CAB (forwarded to trading standards). I'll also be lodging a complaint about incorrect escalation advice with the ICO. I've also submitted a Subject Access Request under ICO regulations that hasn't been acknowledged.

This could have been avoided if someone had simply apologised and given me the blood test I'd paid for.

Next steps are reporting this as fraud and small claims court

Started out well but when I got to my 3 month review they refused my blood test, even though this was contracted and my symptoms hadn't improved at all.
The whole point of these is that they're supposed to be tailored to the individual. It seems to have become a- drag them out on the same dose for as long as possible. I have the NHS to do that for me!!
Cancelled my subscription and waiting for a refund

Jennifer and Ella were extremely helpful and understanding. I am excited to start my protocol of DHEA, Testosterone and Progeatrone Bio Identical Hormones. I can not express how relieved and hopeful I now feel. This journey of having to be my own health advocate has been extremely exhausting and heartbreaking. Thank you SO VERY much for listening to me and understanding how I feel. I feel heard again.

I initially paid £25.00 for a 30-minute Zoom consultation, during which we discussed my symptoms and current medications. Following that conversation, I decided to proceed with the recommended blood tests and paid £225.00. The kit arrived promptly, and a mobile nurse came to my home on Sunday 9th November to take the samples, which was very convenient.

A follow-up video consultation was scheduled for 15/11/25 to discuss my results. After reviewing everything with the clinician, I chose to go ahead with the proposed treatment plan and paid £1,257.00 for the full year. I was told the hormones and supplements would arrive within 14 days.

Unfortunately, despite emailing and calling to follow up, I have still not received anything, and it has now been 18 days. My main reason for going private was because the NHS has been struggling recently, and I was feeling quite desperate to start feeling better. This delay has been extremely disappointing, especially after making such a significant financial commitment.

I hope BioID can resolve this quickly, as the initial service was positive, but the lack of communication and delays have left me very unhappy with the experience so far.

I initially counted Bioidhealth about 5 months ago to have a blood test kit send out to see about starting TRT treatment. It's took three attempts for the blood test kit to arrive. I sent it back to them shortly after. About 4 weeks went by when I decided to reach out to see what was happening with my bloods. I was told the lab decided not to use the bloods ied sent back because the sticker with my information on it that was in the box wasn't on the blood sample. I wouldn't have found this out had I not called . I was then called by one of their staff to be told another test kit would be sent out. That was about 3 weeks ago. I've tried to contact them recently to have my money refunded as it's been a terrible service from the start. As yet no one has responded. 5 months on I'm still in the same position as when I first enquired.
