After the whirlwind and confusion of walking down Hatton Garden, the whole experience was a breeze at Blackacre. Sam and Laura taught me everything I needed to know (and more) about designing a ring and selecting the right diamond. The complements on the ring just keep coming in - it’s stunning!

Blackacre were exceptional, my fiancée loved the ring and of course said yes. The design work was exceptional. Sam designed a highly personalised ring for my girlfriend (now fiancé) which she absolutely loves. It was all the more remarkable for having not met her until after the proposal.

Cannot recommend Sam and the team highly enough. I contacted Blackacre mid-lockdown, having left not a huge amount of time to find an engagement ring ahead of a trip away when I planned to propose.

From the start Sam did an excellent job of outlining the creation process. Amongst other things, this included drawing up a detailed prospectus for design inspiration purposes, as well as a call to go through the various different centre stone options at length. The pro-active and excellent communication throughout meant I was well informed at each step and it never felt in doubt that I’d have the ring in time and in accordance with the design requested.

The finished ring is stunning, and even exceeded my fiancée’s (already high) expectations!

I was recommended Blackacre through a colleague, to design a bespoke engagement ring for my partner and can't express how grateful I am for their outstanding service! Sam was able to explain everything in layman's terms to allow me to fully understand and involve myself in what is an amazing process. Laura was on hand to teach me about, and help me choose a beautiful stone! From concept to final piece, I was given regular updates and consulted on how the process was going and why certain design decisions were being made in order to make sure I was getting the ring I had envisaged. Blackacre really took what was a daunting task and made it not only simple, but thoroughly enjoyable. I can't thank them enough, they managed to take an idea I had and made it into a work of art!

Great service, and choice of rings! I ended up using Blackacre having read some of the reviews - I wanted somewhere which felt more personal. They were super helpful in finding the right ring and diamonds. They involve you as much as possible, explaining how they go about making your ring, and then keep you up to date with the process. Would highly recommend, especially if you’re unsure where to start!

Sam helped me through my journey which to be honest, I was quite scared about initially. I had a very vague idea of what my girlfriend would like and no understanding of diamonds or other precious stones what so ever. Sam guided me through this journey, educating me a long the way, without guiding me down a certain path. This was super important for me as there is so much to learn and many options available - Sam's no pressure approach was exactly what I needed and what I imagine most people buying an expensive piece of jewellery need!

Sam produced multiple mood boards for me to help me identify types of rings I liked, as well as tailored a few designs to what he thought would be suitable. Once I'd decided on a design, Sam and his team at Blackacre built a truly stunning ring, one which my Fiancée absolutely adores. She also loves the fact that I was so heavily involved in the design process.
