I am absolutely appalled by the treatment I have received from Blue Motor Finance and Trade Centre UK (Wednesbury).
I purchased a vehicle that developed multiple faults within just 3 days. I exercised my legal Short-Term Right to Reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and physically returned the car and keys on April 13th.
Despite being a father of three children and clearly explaining the significant material hardship this is causing my family, Blue Motor Finance has left me stranded for over 11 days without a resolution or a refund of my deposit.
Worse still, the dealer (Trade Centre UK) has provided false information to the finance company, claiming I "missed an appointment" a blatant lie. I have photographic evidence of the keys and the dated rejection letter on their desk from 11 days ago, which I have shared with the finance company, yet they continue to allow these delay tactics to prevent a refund.
I have now been forced to escalate this to the Financial Ombudsman Service and the FCA for a breach of Consumer Duty.
It is shameful to treat a customer in hardship this way when the evidence of the car’s faults and its return is undeniable. I expect an immediate unwind of my agreement in line with consumer rights act 2015 and trade centres own policy!
UPDATE Friday 5:00 PM: Case R6Q2O3NK - Blue Motor Finance replied to this review 3 hours ago promising a call "today" to resolve this. It is now 5:00 PM and the office is closed. I have been left on hold for 20+ minutes even though the automated system said a wait time of 5 minutes and NO ONE called me. Another broken promise while my children are left without transport. This will be forwarded to the Financial Ombudsman (PNX-5974614-H4S1) as further evidence of their failure to act on my material hardship.
You have publicly acknowledged your duty to resolve this, yet privately continued to ignore it.

Took out a loan for a car, the car was faulty and from the Trade Centre. Blue have been amazing and very supportive, they helped me through the return process with a difficult dealer, arranged an independent inspection of the car and refunded me my monthly payments and due to the dealer dragging their heels, they have arranged for me to receive the value of my part exchange and the deposit I originally paid. I purchased a Kia which had ongoing issues within 6 months. Complaint was raised and Olivia was my handler. She updated me every step of my complaint and informed me of every stage. She basically has blown me away with her customer service skills! Complaint resolved and I am so happy! Everyone I have spoken to from here has been amazing but a very special thank you to Olivia. I regret ever dealing with this company . No one contacted me with proper details, and I was left completely in the dark. I told me that because I have mental health challenges and sometimes feel confused, I couldn’t make financial decisions — yet they still went ahead and sold me a car that is full of rust and defects.
This feels like exploitation of a vulnerable adult. When I asked to cancel, they told me it was “my fault” and even claimed the Consumer Rights Act doesn’t apply if I’m not satisfied. That is simply not true.
The whole experience has been a joke — dismissive, misleading, and unfair. I wish to regret the order and warn others: do not trust this company.

Im also experiencing the same as the other 1 Star reviews on here! Well where do i start! Absolutely diabolical Company! MULTI CAR FINANCE are the same. The car i purchased on finance has been from the first week never run properly! Engine management light came on in the first week and has done so on every 100 miles there after, the car has been to THREE YES THREE garages for repair and has also had there independent inspection ! HE WOULD NOT EVEN DRIVE THE CAR ITS THAT BAD! Lights on the dash lite up like a Christmas tree!! And they still limp on to make a decision to have the car back!! Emails lots of pictures of the faults and a independent inspection! The car sits on my drive likes its a garden ornament!! No contact ( unless I contact them) no contact from Multi car finance either !! Im not letting these useless Companies get away with this! I will fight tooth and nail to get these Companies to admit liability and have the car back and cancel the Finance agreement!! My opinion through my experiences with these companies are AVOID AVOID AVOID !! AT ALL COST do your homework which I admit i never did and look at the reviews and look into there actons not just words palm you off with the Credit act ! No im sorry this car is 100000% not fit for purpose!!, i would go as far to say its dangerous to drive! Terrible experience, terrible communication and everything else!! Never ever have i had such a bad experience like this !!! Answer to your call back ! No one calls back! This review is a TRUE experience on going with both of these companies, I have a email from Blue finance admitting they have not been dealing with my awful experience well ! They are now saying at point of sale? Which means they are implying it was ok at point of sale! Absolutely no chance! Its been faulty and dangerous from the outset!! When i called them i just heard sorry and i understand..But are not recommended to have them for finance. Stupid me i didn't check the reviews before, i think the seller are hand in hand with the bluemotor finance. The case is now with the Financial Ombudsman to be sorted.

I brought a vehicle in September 2025 from a local Dealer in Nottingham..Within a month of purchasing the vehicle problems started at first the dealer tried to sort out the issues but things got a lot worse.. Blue Motor finance had to intervene and had the vehicle inspected....The car was a basket case ..!! And huge round of applause to Courtney for her help and patience her peers should know she did a brilliant job with a happy outcome to a very stressful 6mths.. I've ran out of time and effort to invest into trying to resolve an ongoing issue with a car purchased via hire purchase through blue motor finance.
To keep it short, raised a complaint with an ongoing issue I've had with the vehicle since purchase. Provided evidence that the fault was present at purchase and has not been repaired when offered the opportunity. 2 weeks, and not one person even acknowledged the complaint was received. Called, and they rejected the complaint there and then on the phone with no definitive reason, just a blanket statement of "no evidence". When asking if the evidence I had attached to the email had been reviewed, it hadn't, and they had no interest in reviewing the complaint with any substance. All they want to do is get you off the phone as soon as they can.
As long as they get their money that's all that matters. They have no interest in ensuring any vehicles, which are legally their possession, have been sold in a condition fit for purpose.
Would put together a review of the complete situation, however I have already invested too much time into this with complete lack of customer care and consumer rights. Hopefully this review, along with the countless other 1* reviews, is enough to warn people away from using this company.
**Update - to warn anyone reading this review and the below generic response, this is what I am being informed despite having an independent inspection carried out last month and sending them the report and evidence. Again, the report and evidence I have provided has not been reviewed. All this company does is send a generic reply regardless of what information you provide them. They have no care or consideration for customer issues and legal rights.**

Avoid Blue Motor Finance at all costs.
This has been one of the most frustrating and stressful experiences I’ve ever dealt with. I rejected a faulty vehicle within 30 days due to multiple issues, including faults confirmed by an independent diagnostic report, yet Blue Motor Finance have failed to properly investigate and have instead sided with the dealership.
I have been pressured to collect the car despite clearly stating I do not accept repairs, and was even threatened that if I do not collect it, they will begin the abandonment process — despite the fact I have been actively disputing the vehicle from the start.
Their communication is absolutely unacceptable. You can be left waiting up to an hour on the phone just to be told someone will call you back, only for that call back to never come. My actual case handlers have barely contacted me — I’ve received fewer than four updates, and this has been ongoing since the end of February.
During one call, I was even asked “how do you know the car isn’t fixed until you get it back?” — despite the fact that not once has anyone properly addressed the original issue the car went in for, or provided any real evidence that it has been resolved.
There is a complete lack of accountability, poor communication throughout, and no regard for the customer’s legal rights.
I would never use this finance company again and would strongly advise others to avoid them!

I purchased a vehicle four years ago and have had a good experience with Blue Motor that have collected every month.
I am still awaiting compensation for the hidden commission slipped in by the car showroom sales manager and this would e a nice end from Blue Motor when I recieve my compensation for this added amount that I feel was not Blue Motors fault but added by the Trade Centre car sales showroom.

They gave me a loan on a car that has a intermittent fault which put the car in lip mode I have video's of this on YouTube and pictures of it happening frequently but they say there is nothing wrong with the car and have closed my case of complaint car not fit for use as not reliable be warned if using this company you will not get any help

I purchased a finance car through Blue Motor Finance. Throughout the years, as hard times hit I struggled at times with payments but they have always been willing to support and advice. But over the last few week it all spiraled out of control and I just don't know whrere I would be right now without the absolutely AMAZING Phoebe. I have NEVER had a more encouraging experience through customer service. I cannot say enough about this agent. She really listened to my current issues, she had empathy, she was soooo patient, she was just so absolutely WONDERFUL✨😍. If I could award her customer service ambassador of the year she certainly would get my vote 1000 fold. I truly cannot say enough about the brilliant customer service she provided.

My car broke down a week ago which was bought on finance through this company. I am without a car because the mechanic I took it to has advised that the cost to repair it just would not be worth it.Despite making several phone calls and sending several emails, I have still not had any response from the complaints team. It is appalling service. I am lucky in that I can borrow my son‘s car for a week, but I have no idea what would happen if I couldn’t.
