BMS Transport cleared my father’s house prior to sale, taking some items into storage. The communication between us was excellent and BMS were able to flex when dates changed as they often do in such circumstances.
When the stairlift became an issue, they removed it leaving no trace of where it had been. Throughout the process I found the company to be extremely obliging and helpful whether dealing with the owner, the office or the removal staff.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and they worked ferociously for several hours without taking any breaks at all. Sadly, I wasn’t able to offer them even a cup of tea, but they remained cheerful and uncomplaining.
They had to dismantle the furniture going into storage and they took great care of it making sure that all the surfaces were fully protected.
I can heartily recommend them but do make sure that you scare all the spiders away first as they don’t like them!

I highly recommend BMS Transport's removal service. The surveying and quoting process was detailed and clear. On moving day, Paul and his team were friendly, helpful and super efficient. They loaded and unloaded the vans with care and attention to our possessions, with quick and efficient furniture disassembly and reassembly. Any issues that they came across were solved with a can-do attitude. All in all they helped make our home move run like clockwork, which helped enormously at what was a very stressful time. A great service and experience.

We had the most amazing service from BMS Transport from start to finish. From the early survey to the removal day, the people were the most helpful, efficient service that we could have hoped for. The date kept changing for the move, but the consideration and understanding from the office was amazing. The moving day was emotional, due to my mother leaving her property after 64 years, but it was made so much easier, less stressful and a lot of fun by such a wonderful team. They were so attentive to her during the whole process and they moved everything out so quickly and carefully. At the other end, there was a wait till 3pm but they were so understanding, calm and happy to wait for us to get the keys. And then of course they unloaded just as quickly and carefully. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is on the move. Thank you BMS.

Very professional from booking through to completion. The team took great care of our belongings, and worked super hard to ensure we were packed up and unpacked as quick as possible.

Excellent service; extremely efficient, friendly, trustworthy and very professional. They even gave proactive advice on securing and safety-proofing our heavy furniture as they noticed we have little children in the house. 10/10 would recommend and would use again!

Outstanding from start to finish. I have moved multiple times over multiple continents. BMS is easily the best experience. Not one thing is missing, broken or even chipped. The team was on time, clean, respectful and efficient. They went the extra mile to help me as well.
Booking: My first experience was with Ovidiu Neata, who clearly laid out my various options and suggested a particular suite of services, based on what I wanted.
Packing and Moving: Kept my costs down with efficient utilisation of manpower; the 3-man team was excellent, with Ian doing most of the packing on day one. Paul was incredibly experienced and also helpful in ridding my new house of rubbish left behind.
Post-Transaction: Ovi personally came and slit open some cartons for me and moved them where I needed. He arranged for my empty cartons to be taken away, at a time and day convenient for me. The team then went the extra mile and took away not only the flattened cartons but also those filled with paper and plastic. I came home to a spotless environment,.
I have no doubt that I would use them again for any move-related needs.

I am a full time wheelchair user and so is my wife. We needed to be moved into temporary accommodation and then home again after our flat had disability adaptations. I am not always aware of dangers. The chaos at BMS - particularly Mark and Paul, were absolutely wonderful. They were professional, friendly, careful and patient. They were very knowledgeable and gave great advice. They took great care with our belongings and they made sure we were safe at all times and that we could still wheel safely around the flat without being impeded by any boxes. I cannot recommend BMS transport enough. This is the best, stress free moving experience I have had ever.

BMS provide a great service. They were helpful, supportive and extremely efficient during my move from my property in London in November 2024, throughout a six month storage period and in my relocation to Bath in May 2025. I highly recommend the company.

Can’t recommend this company highly enough, efficient, friendly and highly organised with a great team. Seamless move of gym equipment on a tricky and and these guys were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble !

Used this company based on positive reviews like this site but incredibly poor experience.

Despite signing terms and conditions that they do not move perishable items and instructions to the contrary they then chose to move my entire fine wine collection and broke or damaged almost all of it in the process. Initially lied about the damage and told me it was one or two bottles but transpired to me huge amount of damage.

Told me I would not be out of pocket for the damage and the never heard back from them.

Avoid at all costs if you have precious items.

I recently used BMS Transport for my house move, and they did an excellent job! The team was very careful throughout the whole process and extremely polite. I was really impressed by their professionalism and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

I booked BMS at the start of the year for my house move based on their online reputation. I had the worst experience a company can possibly deliver. Paid extra for insurance for damage. They damaged my wifes £500 desk. Their insurance refuses to compensate us appropriately. There is a crack on the top and an over expanded screw hole because of how reckless their team were at reassembling the items.

I'm truly truly truly disappointed by the customer service I got from this company, the attitude from their team on the day of my move and their insurance company as a whole.

Today, we've only been offered £100 compensation for a desk that is unrepairable. 4 months down the line and it's been a total waste of time, frustration and aggravation.

I wouldn't recommend this company to a single soul.

Delighted with the whole process, from the survey through booking in to the actual move itself. The team were professional but personable, hard-working and met all the time targets as necessary. Would definitely recommend.

Very understanding and helpful management at a difficult time of changing dates and delayed completion on our move. Excellent service on the moving days. Fragile packing was done very efficiently and safely, furniture was dismantled and reassmbled well and packing of the vehicles done with the minimum of fuss. All done with good humour.

2nd time we have used BMS and they have been excellent. We had a tricky move with large furniture and small stairs. The guys were brilliant, they went above and beyond. Calm, patient and looking for solutions all the time, they took the stress out of a very difficult situation
