I was recommended BMS to clear my late mothers house before completion of sale. The booking/survey process was straightforward and they kept in regular contact when the dates had to be put back. The guys were friendly and did a good efficient job in difficult circumstances. I would certainly recommend this company.

I reached out to BMS on short notice and spoke to Siva. They were fully booked and they managed to find me a time slot.
When Paul, Mark and Reece arrived they were very friendly. They were fantastic disassembled the beds desks etc. Packed everything safely and when we arrived at the new place they made the beds and put everything in the correct rooms.
They were brilliant all round and would highly recommend them

From initial contact to after we moved in, they were great.
The home visit (via video phone) was informative and helped us prepare for the move. Following the quote was super easy, and any questions were answered quickly.

The day of the move went smoothly, and this was down to the incredible team work of the team from BMS. I still cannot believe how efficiently they had moved us out AND got us into our new home, without rushing or damaging our possessions. They made a stressful life event, relaxed and not stressful.
Even after the move, we had a follow up call to ensure that everything went well and that we were happy.

Punctual, polite and very good at what they do

The whole process was seamless and completely stress-free. They came in the morning, packed everything up taking great care of keeping everything well wrapped and boxed, and then delivered everything into the right rooms in the new place. Made the whole moving day much less of a worry or stress, and the team were polite and professional. Definitely recommend using them!

Kish was our contact point and he was always available and very helpful. Alex and his team packed and moved us and I couldn’t fault them. Mark and Paul came to assist pack on day 1. Mark wrapped all my china valuables and as promised it all arrived safe and sound. I had a great experience and would highly recommend them. Thank you BMS transport!

We recently moved from London to Somerset with BMS Transport. It was the second time I have used them and the second experience was as good as the first. From the initial online quote stage with Madona and Kish to the actual move with Mark and Reece; everyone was a pleasure to deal with. Mark and Reece are an excellent team. Highly professional, efficient, positive and calming. They made the move so much easier. I can highly recommend BMS Transport.

BMS should be among the top of the moving companies. I had Googled for moving companies with high review rating. Approached 3 of them for quotations. BMS is the most competitive one. Upon request, they even agreed to refund to me any unused packing materials provided by them. Their communication is lightning fast and polite. 5 workmen who had served us in person in 2 separate occasions are all nice and wonderful guys. They made the usually stressful moving experience become smooth and pleasant. We would not have any hesitation to refer BMS to our friends who need moving service.

Reading the previous reviews you’d think these guys wrote the manual on removals. However, we clearly got the clown service on our job! They didn’t turn up on time or with enough vans or people. We ended up with an entire kitchen to pack ourselves 2 hours before our move out deadline even though we’d paid for the full packing service (and they had come round the day before and insisted everything was fine and in hand). To top it off, some bright spark thought it was a good idea to wrap a glass framed picture in a cardboard box without any protection. So our most valuable possession wasn’t properly protected and is now completely damaged but to their credit they went to extreme lengths to wrap a cheap plastic cup in 3 sheets of paper. Go figure. Needless to say they are now refusing to pay to fix the issue. I would suggest avoiding at all costs if you care about your property and want a stress free experience.

Follow up response:
I’m all for small local family businesses. That’s why I chose you over larger more well known competitors. However, as a quid pro quo, you have to take full responsibility when things go wrong. Your negligent packing has cost me over £500 to repair a framed limited edition picture. And since then you have dodged responsibility. On that basis, I think 1 star is more than fair. What do you expect? Jam?

Your response below hiding behind small print T&Cs does you no favours and is clear for everyone to see - you think packing a picture in a cardboard box without protection is fine as long as the customer doesn’t realise for 7 days.

If you’d taken proper responsibility for the error and fully compensated you’d have received a much better rating from us.
