Placed an order with these as I wanted an alternative to Huel flavours and I had tried the odd bottle from Tesco which I didn’t mind.
I did a bulk order of 24 bottles.
Of the 8 I have opened, only 1 of them has been near edible.
3 of the first 4 bottles were lumpy, would not come of the bottle even when squeezing, and when it finally did, it looked and smelt like sour vomit. The product was clearly off.
I contacted the company and was told they could sort out a refund for the affected bottles. I assumed that meant, I’d have to contact them in 16 days when I’d got through the others to let them know how many were bad.
However the next day, I opened one which wasn’t lumpy and was clear like it should be but I wasn’t sure if it tasted right, I was later ill.
I contacted the company again, sending a video of how the bad ones poured and pictures of the lumpy product, requesting a refund for the bad bottles and to return the rest.
I got no reply, so I tried again and still got no reply. Therefore, 48 hours ago, I tried one final email giving them 48 hours to get back to me or I would raise a claim with my payment provider and leave a bad review, hence this review… still no reply. I have had now had to raise a claim with my credit card.

***Edit, they have replied generically below stating the customer service team have now reached out to me. They have not. Nor have they replied to any emails in the last 2 weeks. The claim is now with my back.

Bol chocolate meal shakes have been helping me through an ongoing / long term health condition that has restricted me to mostly a liquid diet. I was concerned they were too good to be true but after recent blood work I received a positive report about how good my nutrition is so I’m hopeful these meal shakes have been pulling me through.

Sharing this review in case anyone else ends up in a medical situation needing meal shakes as it took me a while to find ones that weren’t pumped with excessive additives in their ingredients list.

The chocolate flavour tastes great and months later I still look forward to having them!

My only request for improvement would be if they could use glass instead of plastic.

I connected with Bol before the purchase. I mentored some bad reviews about damaged bottles etc and they reassured me. Offered a one time discount. Stuff came will packed. All is good. No problems and very good product compared with competition

For these types of meal replacement drinks, they really are super tasty znd are very close to being moreish, even better than the main competitors. The only reason not 5 stars is delivery times not as efficient as others. But a wow 🤩decent product.

Bol shakes are really delicious, I'd highly recommend them. They can be a bit more expensive compared to their main competitor (rhymes with fuel lol), but if you get a discount code, they're definitely worth it because the taste is far superior.

I currently have them on a subscription service; they're delivered by Royal Mail, usually within 3 days of ordering. You can manage orders online, which is really handy, but I have to say they don't make the subscription very easy to cancel. So if you want to order a different quantity in the future or just stop your subscription altogether, it requires an email to their office.

In the future, it would be nice to see them introduce an easier way to pause, change, or cancel your subscription online, and also introduce an 8 week replensishment rotation (the maximum is currently 6). I'm looking forward to trying any future developments in Bol's product range. Hopefully, they might bring out a lower-fat/calorie version to compete with the 'Lite' version from their competitors!

I’ve tried quite a few protein drinks over the years, and Bol Foods Protein Drinks are the best I’ve come across. The taste is genuinely impressive - smooth, not overly sweet, and actually enjoyable to drink, which isn’t always the case with protein products.

What really stands out is the quality of the ingredients. You can tell these are made with health in mind - they feel light, natural, and don’t have that heavy, artificial aftertaste you get with a lot of other brands. They’re perfect whether you’re training, on the go, or just looking for a healthier option during the day.

Delivery has also been spot on - fast, reliable, and well packaged every time.

Overall, a great company producing a genuinely high-quality product. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a protein drink that delivers on both taste and health.

Very quick delivery. Well packed and tastes great. We need some emergency items for our sporty children when they're racing between netball matches and athletics and needed something for those days full of endless meetings. I used to be a Hueligan but I'm never going back.

I bought the Bol power shake variety pack it was delivered promptly and packaged well. As for the power shake an ideal solution when on the go , they all taste delicious and are so satisfying !
