A complete con! App doesn't work, rewards are non-existant. Says I have £6 of rewards, but not way of redeeming them. What a joke company - I'll stick with Esso & Nectar, which does actually reward you!

Rubbish app, haven't received rewards vouchers ,emailed various times with no answers, complete and utter waste of time,I've stopped using BP.

My goodness, you would think that a company worth nearly £90 billion would make sure their app worked properly before rolling it out. Took me four goes to register and now when adding my bank card I get "Something went wrong" despite my bank approving. I suggest you employ an excellent App team and not give this job to a 16 year old work experience - hang on a minute reverse that, use a 16 year old work experience youngster, they are sure to be better than the shower you are using!

What rewards? Some petrol station don’t get the points in while you pay and gives you the receipt asking you to contact support to get the points in. Which they won’t do. Also… it doesn’t add up. 4 years of driving fuelling solely with BP has made me £60 in rewards. 4 years! And that’s with the ‘supercharge’ additional points that they sometimes do. Not worth your loyalty - they’re having a laugh

Absolutely awful customer service. I tried to register 3 times on line just went round in a loop of being asked to verify my email address and phone number, which I completed 3 times then directed back to the home page. I rang customer service who took all my details and card number to be told they are no longer allowed to register cards for customers who are having difficulties. I asked to raise a complaint to be told I wasnt able to. I've chucked the card in the bin and will take my custom elsewhere. What terrible service!!!

Similar experience to Sam Goodwin on 26th May 2026, account closed without warning. Rubbish.

I loyally use BP to gain reward points. I have just redeemed £15 worth for Amazon vouchers and have not received them. 3 times I have sent a message to their contact us section and I have had no reply. No more fuel at BP for me.

Absolute Scam. Spent a long time gaining rewards to get £30 of value. Went to spend this on fuel and refused as apparently I need another 25 points. So went back to spend £25 and it still won't let payment go through for free fuel. New reason is a technical issue with no way of knowing when the points will be added on.
This is just a con and designed so it's so difficult to redeem you just give up. No other rewards scheme won't let you redeem what you have earnt in this way. These companies make so much profit yet still feel the need to screw you over. Well loyalty works both ways there's plenty of other fuel stations to use from now on.

Well, I can see on here that everyone is having the same problem,. I found the phone number for BPme and told them that the last 2 offers did not work as it was a difefrent card number to my physical card. I was told that the odd number was registered to me and linked to my current card .if so , why do the offers NOT show in my current card? The girl at the other end did not answer this and just kept saying they were linked , it was like speaking to a wall .In the end, she said she'd report it to the "team". Since then, after forwarding screen shots of the offers and all the info, I have heard nothing even though I chased this .What a useless app and bunch of people operating this . I don't use BP now , why should i give the business if they are not going to reward me?

What a total pointless scheme. My local service station has been advertising this scheme for years and will still not allow you to redeem the points in store whilst advertising that you con on its forecourt. I have been advised its a technical thing and itll be fixed shortly but this is years. I cannot log into their app to spend the points I've earned so it looks like ive been loyal to gain points for nothing. Feel like just helping myself to £10 worth of goods and leaving my BP Card behind.

More often than not, the correct points are not added, if you query this on the app you are requested to provide proof of your spending, not surprisingly the recent transactions part of the app that would provide the evidence, doesn't work!! I have a Shell card too, by comparison, BP just doesn't live up to the expectations, 90%, 1 star ratings on Trustpilot should have got BP looking at the system, but no

Our business has used this scheme since 2018. I received an email saying our account has been closed and deleted (even though its used frequently and not inactive). They are unable to award us all the points that have accrued since 2018 as THEY have deleted the account. Further more when I collected the rewards card from our local garage, it turns out it wasn't even our. So can only assume someone else has our card. The worst part is you can't speak to anyone, you get pushed from pillar to post, no one wants to take responsability. Shocking.

The app is constantly not working not a point visiting BP.

Comedy rewards system. Can't log in and you just go through a loop of processes. I had to call the helpline and I was told to call back and choose another option. Couldn't even transfer me or deal with it. Plus the lady as nice as she was was obviously in a far away call centre where English is not in the top 10 languages of that country. Took 5 minutes to relay my email address correctly. Don't bother shop elsewhere.

Not having visited a BP station so far this year I received today an email offering me quadruple points, together with a link to Unlock My Rewards. Unsurprisingly the link didn’t work. Time for this promotion to be put out of its misery.

What a joke have point to buy stuff yet cant use them. And then you got the price of eveything oveepriced go anywhere and you get duoble for your money

SCAMERS THEY JUST SCAMMED ME FROM ALL MY MONEY IN THIS CARD. THEY JUST SENT AN EMAIL SAYING I HAVEN’T USED IT IN AWHILE AND IT’S MY ACCOUNT’S BEEN CLOSED BUT THEY’RE LYING. I USE IT SO OFTEN THEY JUST WANT THEIR MONEY BACK BASICALLY A SOMETHING TO DO WITH WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE WORLD TODAY THEY WANT THEIR OIL MONEY AND THIS IS WHAT THEY’RE DOING TO OUR COUNTRY

Nightmare. Sometimes points not added, transaction history empty, sometimes app not working, sometimes reward card will not scan.

Follow-up to my review dated 6 December. I don’t know if the problem lies with the website or the people, or both. But my Rewards points failed to materialise and, as expected, my follow-up enquiry of nine days ago has received neither the courtesy of a reply nor even an automated acknowledgement. Truly not worth the bother.

Very poor website. I tried at least 8 x times over 2 x days to register and it is fell over every time. Do not waste your time and effort! I will avoid all BP petrol stations from now on, and can highly recommend the Petrol Station with the yellow shell as a very efficient company whose reward cards are easy to set up and use!
