Bradfords - Dorchester BBS Reviews

Would have been 5 but went to main branch who sent me down the road to a secondary branch who did not have required timber and sent me back to where I started. Was then told they were not allowed to saw timber so I was given a saw to reduce timber to required length.

All other aspects were very good including delivery which was as per my slightly complicated requirements

Great response from Dorchester branch. Very helpful staff.

Great assistance from Chris Baker in the Dorchester office and the two delivery drivers who managed to place the products over my garden wall which saved me lots of leg work!! Top service as always!

Wood was of good quality and mostly free from knots. Low stock levels prevented us from ordering more but this is apparently a nationwide problem with building supplies at the moment.

'Did what it says on the tin'.

Quick freindly and super efficient.
This is for the local guys and gals at the Dorchester depot. Great service, always a pleasure to do business with, the delivery guys are cool too!

Great communication , kept me updated on the order and delivery times .
Will buy again from here .

Needed building supplies and these guys came up trump's.

Friendly, extremely helpful service for a DIY customer.

Ordered sleepers at the end of March. We were called to explain due to shortages delivery would be delayed until mid April which we accepted. Mid April came and went with no further update. Called to get an update to be told they were unsure of when to expect. Another week passed and no further communication. Tried calling again during open hours to get no answer on multiple times. Another week passed and still no communication. Finally managed to get hold of the office to be told delivery had been attempted the day before but due to me not answering call as in a meeting they did not deliver. My wife was in all day and the drive way was empty. However was told that there was no drive by the delivery driver. No attempt to knock the front door and speak to my wife was made. After a few Moaning phone calls they were finally delivered. Very poor customer service where we were made to feel we were impatient after waiting over a month.

Some of the things I wanted were out of stock but a very clued-up young lady in the Dorchester depot sorted out alternatives with me.
Deliver was on time, friendly and efficient.
Competitve prices.
Overall, very happy.

I recently ordered some timber to built a garden gate at the the same time I ordered a latch set. The time bet arrived as promised and is very good quality.
I am disappointed that the latch set has not yet been delivered.

Ordered online, local Bradfords store phoned me the next day and arranged delivery date. Confirmed delivery with text.
All very straightforward and smooth.

Phone call to say order was ready. Quick and helpful service

Good product delivered on time friendly driver

Excellent deal on decking boards and very friendly efficient service

Excellent customer service with quick delivery, I've ordered 19 railway sleepers over the last month for my garden project, and the delivery drivers are always polite and helpful
