Bright!Tax is the go to service for expats
I highly recommend Bright!Tax for your expat tax return. Their tax preparation portal and tax questionnaire make it easy to complete what they require and their tax preparers and support personnel are very competent.

Cross-border business entity chaos seamlessly organized. But please get rid of EMAILS!!!
Taking a point off for lack of comms during the last year. But I want to caveat it by sharing that I too ignored comms or dealing with my taxes until the last moment. Finally, when we were able to get on the review conference call with our accountant and customer success rep, Lauren, the conversation was productive, clear and strategic. We explored how to make different choices to craft a more optimised strategy for the next year. And aligned on how we will address communication gaps going forward. On both of our sides.
I finally got to try the new portal and it is way way better. Well done team! One caveat or wish list that for your Premium clients you should set up small group slack channels for the CS person + lead accountant. It is relatively secure. You can get consent on certain data sharing, but it gets us away from emails and into this century. You can also try a ticketing system but honestly that mostly goes to die in emails anyway.
Not sure who uses emails these days …. I personally start to itch and feel like I am back in the 90’s. So I just don’t read mine.
But as someone who has watched this start-up from its inception, seeing your growth makes me want to continue to support you even through some of the kinks do still need to be worked out. The trend is definitely in the right direction.
Overall Katelynn well done building this baby and now starting to scale it. Really excited for your growth. ❤️

Bright Tax has been handling my US taxes, I live in Australia, for many years. I have been very happy with their service. This time around though they have introduced a new format which was confusing and caused some back and forth for clarification.
