Easy to use. Great instructions. Fantastic to have fresh brewed in your fridge.

The product itself is very good. I have tried two of the Bruusta kombucha flavors (regular and raspberry) and three of the flavor shots (haven't tried the grapefruit one, yet); all are very tasty. I do prefer to use the flavor shots in the regular batch. I ordered the two Bruusta kegs and am happy to have one to drink and one getting ready. Their FAQ's say that it has about 21 servings/8 ounces each for a total of 168 ounces; I don't find that to be accurate, I did one day of 8 ounces and 9 days of 12 ounces for a total of 116 ounces (10 days of servings vs their 21 days is quite a ways off). Even if I'm a little off on my measurements, that is still a big difference. I used the same glasses nightly and they only hold about 10 ounces to the top, which I did not do and left room for ice cubes. The portion that goes down into the base, which is drinkable, is about 4 ounces. Now, the not so good.....I fully set up my account and it nows all my information, but now I can't log in and make any changes via my account. I have had several emails with Bruusta support and still no success. An automated response is sent to log in, but goes no where from there. The secondary automated link will allow me to make a change to the date, but not edit the items to ship. I'm hoping they will get this fixed and make it an easier experience for the customer.

Bad stuff first:
The company advertises low sugar like it’s a feature, but the regular “kombucha” out of the tap is like a watered down—fully carbonated kombucha. Of course it’s low sugar, and then most people will want to add their flavor boosters (with sugar) to make it a more enjoyable drink. They create a problem (weak flavor, low sugar), label it as a feature, then sell a solution. I found that I need to add more tea to make it taste more like real home brewed kombucha.
Next, the Bruu packs are a bad product and are supposedly required to use the Bruusta at all. It’s great that they have something that can have a shelf life and no maintenance, but at what cost? Oh right, $30 a pack (>gallon of booch). Thats a ridiculous cost. And that’s before you consider add ons like the flavor boosts or your own options. That’s way above what’s sustainable and justifiable for a subscription, compared to homemade booch (~$3/gal).
I might pay $10 per Bruu pack, for the convenience. I understand all the factors that go into marking up and pricing products. I think Bruusta is onto something, but there is value misalignment.
Now the good stuff:
I love the “keg”. It’s bigger than I would expect. It really takes up an inconvenient amount of space in my fridge—almost a dealbreaker. However, the carbonation is perfect—better than I’ve gotten from my own brews. And it’s been consistent throughout the batch.
Making the kombucha is easy and has a quick cycle, although sacrificing the flavor as mentioned above.
Overall, I’m enjoying the first experiences, but I don’t see myself continuing to buy Bruu packs from the company. I would accept the inferior beverage, if the price was lower. I’d be glad to pay more up front for the Bruusta itself.
It feels like the company falsely advertises (by misleading) the product, the ease, and the “savings”.

Bruusta gives me total control over my kombucha habit. It's fun and easy to brew, tastes great and has lower sugar than store bought brands. The brewing and cleaning instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Side bonus: My husband has started drinking it daily. He hated the store bought kombucha I used to drink. I'm in love with the ginger version and the original is also very good. I haven't tried raspberry yet but perhaps I will in the future. It's nice not to have a lot of waste to recycle or throw away from my daily beverage.

Easy to follow instructions - great finished product!

So far I have brewed two batches. The first batch was flat.(no carbonation.). The second batch I let go for six days. It did have some carbonation. After two days in the refrigerator, it was flat. So far, not so good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10 out of 5!)I absolutely LOVE my Bruusta. It may sound cliché, but I truly can’t imagine going back to brewing kombucha any other way.

Before this, I was exhausted from the labor-intensive process of traditional home brewing — the constant monitoring, the long wait times, and the occasional heartbreak of a batch going bad. With Bruusta, that frustration is completely gone.

The pressurized, closed system makes the entire process incredibly simple and efficient. What used to feel like a chore now takes me under 10 minutes of effort per batch, and I have fresh kombucha ready in just six days. Even better, I always have clean, fresh kombucha on hand daily.

What I love most is knowing exactly how it’s made and how fresh it is. I get all the health benefits of homemade kombucha — without the mess, stress, or guesswork.

If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. This truly is a smarter way to brew at home.

I was very interested in this product because I LOVE kombucha. The packaging was nice, and the product was fine. I followed the instructions exactly to make the kombucha, and when I took it off of the brew base after the four days on the counter, it spewed out everywhere. I cleaned it up, put it in the fridge hoping it could be recovered, but after two days it had no carbonation. I followed the instructions to get it to re-carbonate, but unfortunately before that time frame was complete it had leaked everywhere. Everything was sealed, so it is beyond me where the leak was coming from. I gave it yet another chance, and poured a cup and closed the tap, yet it just kept pouring and pouring. This is not an easy way to make kombucha. This is an easy way to have a bad day. This is how you cover every surface in your kitchen in bacteria.

Love my Bruusta! Makes great kombucha and it’s fun to do! I have tried the original, raspberry and ginger. The original is fun as you can add your own favors or theirs!

Received damaged refill ( Ginger) and still have not received replacement.

I do love Bruusta. I wish it made more in one batch. Easy to make. It really isn’t that cheap when you are on a tight budget. I love their flavor syrup. I end up with left over syrup which I use in other ways. Just wish I could afford to drink it more. They were prompt in answering my email. I’ve had no problems with this company.

Easy to order, and it tastes great! The flavor shots are fun and delicious. Low in sugar, and the price is better than buying at the store.

The shipping is super fast. I searched the internet for a simple way to make homemade kombucha and this couldn’t be easier. It takes about a week and after completing my first batch I realized I needed a second unit so I would always have one tapped and one brewing. The price isn’t too bad considering the price of bottles in the store. This tastes better!

Bruusta is unique and convenient, a good option for kombucha lovers who want to bypass some of the hiccups one can encounter with traditional home brewing. The app is very helpful, and it’s fun to make. Unfortunately, my batch was minimally carbonated and the flavor drops weren’t strong enough to taste with the original brew flavor. Also, the Bruusta will stop pouring from the tap even though there are several servings left inside. To use the rest of the batch (~25%), you have to open the wide mouth and pour it out directly from the top, leading to spills and losing the air pressure inside the Bruusta. I’m still glad I got it though, hopefully I can find a way to improve the carbonation.
