Kombucha Heaven
At last, a simple method for brewing Kombucha, I have always enjoyed Kombucha as an alternative to alcohol, but homemade systems are messy and store purchased Kombucha is expensive.
I am on my second brew, the first being the original, the second being raspberry. Both were superb, very refreshing and well balanced between sweet and sour

It really tastes great
It really tastes great! light fizzy and refreshing but with complex flavour notes just like my favourite kombucha. I've done the home method and Bruusta beats it every time. Consistent results and such an easy process

Product is subpar
Product is subpar. Not impressed with the flavor. Final product is watery with not much flavor. Doesn't matter how much I let it ferment. Just gets sour or tart...which I like. But the base flavor of all three options tastes watered down.

I love the concept of the bruusta it takes a lot of the work and guess work out of the old school methods. I like that it is and easy 1, 2, 3 system and with an app. I found no instructions on how to open start of trouble shoot any things that could go wrong. Hence I had to google and you tube on how to. Info was missing on those too. What settings it should be on, how to open the device, how to reopen after the fermenting process etc. Let's just say the learning curve left me with an exploding base and covered in the residue that should have been thrown out. Although it was an experience, I really wish a detailed instruction pamphlet was put in the box with precise instructions. :) Other than that I would have given 5 stars, even while still waiting on my first brew to tap. As far as flavoring and process of the end results I don't know yet. Patiently waiting and very excited to try it.

I just wish I could edit my order … I love bruusta so much I now want 4 batches a week, but can’t figure out how to change my initial subscription. I think the app needs a lot of work but the kombucha is so delicious!!!
