Social Media as it should be apparently, except I signed up to see what it was like. Didn't do anything other than the basics and with 4 hours got my first follow request from Nigerian scammer with a cleavage heavy profile pic phishing for cash!

While they let you follow accounts through their API, they mark you as a spam if you do so. Great job guys! Cheers!

Now I'm not the most "anti-woke" person, but you cannot deny the website is enforcing a super "woke" agenda and the moderation is extremely biased. You need to agree with their ideologies or you're not welcome. I really love the concept of using your own domain for your username, but this service is unusable. I hope to see this concept again but with a more accepting community.

Even with a couple small reliability issues, it's got a great interface.

No ads. No manipulative owner. Trolls are collectively given short shrift. Blocklists are available to keep your feed clean. There is some moaning about this from those who get caught up in them, but "My feed, my rules" prevails.

We have actual conversations with mutual respect (not always agreement). We don't have dog piles. And we don't have self important people barging in to trash the place.

This site is a great alternative to X, especially after Brazil banned it.

I know that the app is quite new and growing ever so slowly, but I respect the speed of the platform as it continues to build itself as a brilliant alternative. Plus, with video support and hopefully DMs as well, it'll basically make the world a much nicer and simpler society.

wow, what can I say? within seconds of posting some AI work on Bluesky, I was greeted with a barrage of abuse, I had people telling me I should kill myself, they hoped I die alone. This is a platform for the most toxic mentally deranged people on this planet. They are vile. stay the hell away I would say as they are relentless.

My Bluesky account has been falsely suspended for "harassment" even though I was the one being harassed. The moderators on this website are corrupt and biased. This site is a scam. Don't ever use it.
