Me, my wife and three kids, moved to Ontario, acanada from England. Stayed in England for nearly 15 years and thus have collected significant amount of stuff including 2 big sofa sets, 2 double sofas, 8 seater dining table, 4 bicycles, 3 study tables including complete glass table, significant amount of crockery, clothes and etc.
After comparing prices, went with BTR. They asked for the whole amount before starting the move since they have to pay for container booking and all. I have seen there reviews and thus took the plunge. We agreed for them to move us on 1st of September, Goods were collected on 5th September (much earlier than when they could book the container - it takes 20 days to book a container)...goods were stored...shipping started end of September and the ship reached ontario on 4th of November. Took a while for customs to clear it - 21st November it all got cleared and we received goods on 25th Nov (weekend in between). Everything came in perfect condition, not a single broken mirror or anything that I can see..we even brought our 65inch TV and it is in perfect condition.
The mover boyz who packed, till boyz who unloaded and fixed everything in Toronto, they were just amazing, kind and so helpful.
We messaged multiple times to BTR rep Kavi in UK and Nadia in Ontario and they always replied within few hours and in a very helpful and kind manner.
I cannot thank enough these guys and can recommend them without any hesitation.

Once our shipment arrived from Australia we were emailed to say they had viewed our street and decided that they would not be able to get our container in the street so then charged us an extra £975 saying they had to put into smaller vehicles to deliver. We accepted this and paid the money. Since then, we noticed another person in our street being loaded into the same size container with no problem. Vehicles were able to pass and although the container did take up room and needed to be very careful when parking up, there were no restrictions caused to any neighbours.
We did question BTR following this who said that the road would have been blocked and it would have been a police hazard, there are 2 ways to get in & out of the street, the road would not have been blocked.
We find it very disappointing that after paying the initial cost of international shipping, that this cost was then added on for something that wasn't actually needed so please make sure you question this prior to paying and not take it as given.

The process was relatively smooth and the team were responsive. We were walked through the steps in advance and the pickup and drop off went smoothly. There seemed to be some crossed lines of communication with the local company who arranged for delivery on the receiving end, who asked me for info I had already provided and we did not get the correct customs form in advance (this just meant filling it in at the airport, which took awhile). The delivery date was moved back from the initial estimate, but in the end arrived within the timeline they had estimate (about 10-11 weeks after pickup).

It’s been 7 months and I still do not have my full shipment. I’ve spent thousands replacing furniture that I was told I would receive in 2 - 3 months (London -> New York).

When I first spoke to Kavita and team they could not have been more responsive. Then the minute they took my money, it has been radio silence ever since. She has been zero help in resolving this issue. Further, they refused to provide me with any compensation.

This has caused us months of stress and worry.

DO NOT TRUST OR USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

My experience with BTR has been nothing but easy and smooth. Great communication from them, and they really do try and remove all the stress from the process. They answer texts and emails super fast and you feel they’re always there for you. Kav is amazing, and we had a few zoom calls where we could chat through details and plans.

I was sceptical after seeing the one star review from Maria K, but saw she gave the same negative review on the same date to another moving company also …. quite suspicious. All other BTR reviews were glowing.

Moving is always stressful, but I would recommend BTR for shipping your goods - one less thing to think about.

Complete mess up of our cargo from the UK. We waited 4 months almost for our cargo and then when we got to the airport they had not signed it off as arrived so after an hour drive to airport again with screaming kids, the officer told us that they had not arrived our cargo and therefore unable to stamp our documents. This meant that we had to find another time to come back and get it. No apology no compensation. I regret using them

First of all, the quote was a video call, which wasn’t easy to make. Following that, after the moving date was booked, there was no follow-up, list, or any information about who was coming, around what time, how many people would appear at our house, what we needed to do beforehand, or even a reminder the day before.

The service of packing the house was very disappointing. The team was extremely slow, especially after lunch — it appeared that one person was packing while the other was on a break. They didn’t even manage to finish on time. They left two wardrobes with their contents inside; instead of disassembling them, they just wrapped them and explained they would do it at the warehouse that night. They took the two full wardrobes down the staircase, scratching our walls in the process. They came at 9:30am and left at 8pm. We had plans that evening but had to cancel them because of this.

During our previous move with another company, one person packed the whole house in one day, so I was very surprised and disappointed that two people took so long.

When emailing Jacintha, following the instructions that any damages needed to be communicated within 24 hours, I received an out-of-office reply without an alternative contact. When I asked her to confirm if the disassembly of the wardrobes was done, she only confirmed about a week after the move — which was surprising and disappointing for such a simple task to take so long.

I also forgot to mention that the team did not place our TV in the special box that we were charged £300 for. Instead, they just wrapped it and said they would do it at the warehouse. They confirmed they did 2 weeks after the move. Our stuff just arrived and we are slowly discovering things that are missing.

Never would I recommend your company to anyone.

The best experience ever using BTR for my move from Hamburg to Spain. They prepared every detail of the shipment, helped me navigate the paperwork, and logistics. The dates were easy to schedule and they even notified me of the exact time. They called in advance and came right on time to pick it the shipment up. Same on arrival, I got a confirmation call the day before and the day of the shipment. The drivers were quick and professional. I can highly recommend them.

Wonderful service, door to door as promised, all glassware delivered just the way it was packed. Very happy with BTR, kudos to the team for the good job. Thank you.

For the price, it was totally worth it — pre-consultation was done upfront, followed by multiple Zoom calls to help determine volume and logistics. On packing day, the team came and packed everything really well. I got regular updates every few weeks so I didn’t have to worry, and about 2 months later, everything arrived safely. Big thanks to the BTR international team for making this move so smooth!

Really great service, just took a little long. But I would recommend for price and communication and they are very trustworthy. Just don't expect to get your stuff too quick!

Great service from BTR, I received my items in good conditions. I did take longer that expected and some port charges popped up last minute but that was something that theh had warned me may happen. Overall I recommend it.

Without hesitation you should be using BTR to ship your contents across the globe. We recently completed our move from UK to Dubai and want to thank BTR for making it so smooth. Big thanks must go to Faizan who looked after us throughout. Always on hand for the best information and seemed to care that we got our goods safely. Do not hesitate using these guys they’re the best in the business and were also very well rocked against others.

A brilliant experience! Of course, for such a big move, I was nervous. But entrusting the BTR team with handling the moving of my entire home, my dogs, helping with my immigration etc. was the best decision I could have made to allow me to adjust to this major life change. We moved from Kent, UK, to Madrid, Spain, all processes were very well explained, my questions were never too much for the coordinator and everything was so simple and friendly. I’ll be using BTR for the next move too!

I shipped about 1/3rd of my house belongings from UK to US including furniture, entertainment, personal belongings and sporting goods. BTR was highly communicative from quote to until the day our stuff arrived in US. I never felt I was left in the dark. The communication was always re-assuring. Our belongings did spend sometime in the warehouse in UK waiting to be shipped and this was expected given the timeframe. Couple of items were damaged and I claimed insurance which was also very promptly and smoothly handled. All in all I will use them again and recommend to my friends/acquaintance. Thanks BTR!

very professional service and they helped me a lot with my family's move from Dublin to London. I would recommend them to anyone who are looking to move. Staff was also very friendly too.

I used BTR to ship my belongings from the UK to Dubai, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The service was smooth and professional, right from collection through to final delivery. Kavi and her team were incredibly supportive and always responsive, making the whole process stress-free. Communication and updates were timely and clear throughout. I was assisted by Faizan Ahmed and Catherine De La Cruz for the shipment of my items from London to Abu Dhabi, which included an upright piano. I found the communication very open and transparent when negotiating terms, the pricing was fair and I received my shipment door to door in a very timely manner. Pleasant packing and delivery crew.

Used BTR and their Dubai partner to ship belongings from the UK. There are parts of the journey they can't control and so can't be blamed for any delays once on the sea. But the bits they do control they did fantastically, 10/10, from the packing up in the UK to the unpacking in Dubai. It was great and met the deadlines they set themselves. Our treasured posessions got here in one piece. Thank you everyone.

I’ve just used BTR as part of my move from London to Tokyo. I only have good things to say. The communication was excellent from the moment the process began and I was kept updated in a timely manner through the entirety of the move of the current status of all things. My main point of contact in the process was a guy called Vishal who was fantastic throughout and made the whole moving process very smooth. If I ever need to move overseas again I would absolutely use BTR for all reasons outlined above and for the high quality of service provided. I would happily recommend BTR to anyone who is looking for help with their move.
