Rob and team did my moves for a second time and I was just as happy with their service as I was the first time. They handle everything with care and speed which made the move itself go very smoothly. I would highly recommend the.

I am taking the time to write this review in the hope of saving someone else from going through the traumatic situation my family and I had to endure with Budget Removals London.

I initially booked with them not just for the competitive price, but because Robert was very responsive and kind over email, confirming our booking smoothly. Having completed over 35 house moves in my life, I am well aware of what a standard, safe move looks like. This was, without a doubt, the single worst experience I have ever had.

Here is what happened:

We moved from Finsbury Park, an area where basic security precautions are essential. The two movers left the building doors and security gates wide open and unattended for long periods. Because of this, an unauthorised individual entered the building. Our neighbours had to alert us that several of our items had been taken and moved to another floor in front of another flat.

When I raised this serious security failure—distressed that our items were being taken—the younger mover was extremely dismissive, implying I was just being "paranoid."

Because items were misplaced/taken and the movers refused to take responsibility, I had no choice but to call the police. The police spent two hours with me reviewing the situation. Crucially, the police informed us that because the movers had left the main doors and gates completely open, it couldn't even be classified as a break-in, meaning standard insurance would not cover us. The police explicitly stated the responsibility lay with the moving company's negligence.

When I called the manager (Robert) to report the situation, things went from bad to terrifying. Instead of resolving the issue, he immediately became hostile, demanded to speak to his "boy" (turns out the younger mover is his son). When I asked if they could speak in English so I could understand what was happening during an active security incident on my move, Robert launched into a severe, aggressive verbal attack. He shouted at me, and spoke to me with a level of hostility I have never experienced from a paid service provider in my life.

Beyond the main incident, the younger mover was uncooperative and hostile from the start, showing zero care for the environment or our stressed pets. They also refused to do two short 10-minute shuttle trips—despite us paying for a 4-hour slot—forcing us to completely change our plans on the spot, only for them to finish in under 3 hours anyway.

After reading other reviews, I realised I am not the only one who has faced severe verbal aggression from Robert.

This move left me completely traumatised and genuinely fearful. A moving company’s two fundamental jobs are to move your items and keep them secure. Budget Removals London failed catastrophically at the latter, replacing basic professional service with verbal abuse and endangerment of our belongings.

Do not use this company. It is not worth the stress, the risk to your safety, or the appalling treatment.

I can’t recommend Budget Removals highly enough. They moved me from a large ground-floor one-bedroom flat in London to a terraced house in Kessingland, Suffolk, and the whole experience was stress-free from start to finish.

The team arrived exactly on time, were incredibly friendly, professional, and worked efficiently throughout the day. They took great care with all of my belongings, especially my mirrored furniture, which they carefully wrapped in protective sheets before loading everything onto the van.

Everything arrived safely without any damage, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Moving can be stressful, but their professionalism, care, and attention to detail made the whole process so much easier.

If you’re looking for a reliable, careful, and friendly removal company, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Budget Removals.

Beware! This is the third time I have used Robert and his team. Unfortunately- it was a terrible experience. It started with a frenzied approach to removing things from the first house. And despite several requests to put down carpet protection- they didn’t, in both houses. During most of the move Robert was shouting in Polish at his team. He also fairly quickly tried to tell me I would need a 4th van - despite having moved me a year ago in 3. I refused this and said quite firmly I did not have more stuff and it fit last time.

When we arrived to the new house - things were literally dumped into rooms or thrown into the garden. For example a basket ball hoop was thrown onto some bushes! Beds and furniture were randomly put into rooms - we had to spend hours moving things so we could sleep in the beds. Even the mattresses were not on the beds and were just dumped into one of the 4 rooms.

However, the real problem came when I pointed out the one of the bed had been damaged on re-assembly. I was not angry or aggressive at all - simply showed Robert the very visible damage to my daughter’s bed where the screws had been screwed in too far. Robert became immediately irate - stated shouting at me and my partner. He screamed at both of us how they did not damage the bed - that it was a ‘sh-t’ bed and insurance would not cover it. At no point did I ask him to pay for the bed - I simply wanted him to acknowledge the damage. I said this several times. The shouting became so extreme I felt threatened and left the room. He followed me later into the house and continued - I was close to calling the police. It was a terrible experience. Beware these guys are cheap and efficient- but Robert is extremely threatening and potentially dangerous when crossed.

Good communication. Prompt and reliable. Efficient service with good removal staff and good value for the service. Highly recommend.

Rob's team made my move incredibly easy. He was quick to respond with a great price and provided excellent communication throughout. The team showed up on time and worked incredibly hard.

A special shout-out to the Polish-speaking gentleman (sorry, I didn't catch his name) who packed my kitchen and fragile items(my perfumes), and glassware were all securely wrapped in bubble wrap. They managed a full pack and move between 9 am and 12 pm, including reassembling my furniture. Highly recommended!

We had crazy high quotes to move out of our 2 bed flat but had a reasonable one from Budget Removals London. They were great, the guys were efficient and friendly and we got all moved in by 1530 which I thought was great considering we moved 2 hours away from our original house. I would highly recommend the team at Budget Removals London.

Genuinely a very good service!
I needed to move my 2-bedroom flat's furniture into storage. A whole team showed up, disassembled things and moved it within all within a couple of hours.
Seemed like incredible good value for the price we paid.

Robert, Kris and team were excellent with our move. They helped us by providing additional boxes for storage and were very quick and professional on the day of the move. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to move.

Robert and his team were excellent. They were the best value quote we received from a few different companies and they were incredibly professional. We had the full packing and moving service from our 2 bed flat in London to our new 3 bedroom house outside of London.

They turned up with a team of 5 with 2 vans. They packed everything, loaded into the vans, delivered to our new house AND unpacked everything. They were done by 2pm on the same day, it was incredible how fast they were.

The best part is a barely had to do anything and it made moving house the least stressful it's ever been.
