Booked an Antonio for my father funeral as it was he only request to have the last post performed. I was so happy with the service provided from first contact and on the actually event. Many thanks

This is the first time we used the services of Bugler For Hire, having this year felt the need to have a proper Bugler for our Remembrance Service, with previous years just using recordings. We found Bugler For Hire to be extremely professional in their handling our request and finding us a highly suitable bugler in Bugler Alex Browne. Whilst Remembrance Services are subjective to everyone who attends, the feedback after, regarding Alex, was nothing but positive, and attendees considered his playing to be the highlight of the service. Although I believe its difficult for Alex to commit to next year, we have requested that if possible he be made available, but Bugler For Hire have assured us that should he not be, they will supply us with another experienced bugler, and by saying that, you can be assured we would have not hesitation in using their services again.

Bugler for Hire is our 'go-to' for a bugler at funeral services. Antonio is fantastic - from the initial call to the day of the service the communication is second to none.

Antonio arrives ahead of time, performs flawlessly and looks immaculate - we always get such fantastic feedback from families when we work with Bugler for Hire.

Antonio attended my dad’s funeral at St Nicolas Church, King’s Norton on Monday 23rd June. It was a fitting tribute and farewell, as my dad served in the Royal Engineers for 9 years back in the 60’s/70’s. We also had 3 x standard bearers, one from my dad’s regiment and 2 from the Royal British Legion. Antonio sounded the General Salute, Sunset and the last post before dad was carried out of church to begin his final journey to the cemetery. The hairs stood up on the back of your neck and many of the mourners commented on it being a wonderful, special emotional moment. I’ll be forever grateful. Many, many thanks 😀👍👌

I reached out to Bugler for Hire at short notice for my father's funeral. Antonio quickly arranged for a musician to be there, but sadly, they were involved in an accident the night before. To ensure we weren't disappointed, Antonio attended the funeral himself and delivered a fantastic performance. The service provided by Bugler for Hire is exceptional and I wholeheartedly recommend them. They did my Dad proud.

We hired a Bagpiper through Bugler for Hire for our annual remembrance service. James was fantastic, very professional on the day and his playing added a wonderful element after the service to guide the attendees to the post service reception.
This was our second year booking through Bugler For Hire and we will definitely be using them again next year!

My family and I have deep gratitude to Buglerforhire for adding impeccable polish to my father's funeral and burial service. A retired senior officer in the Royal Air Force who lived his service values to the end, he would have been proud. Antonio prepared thoroughly beforehand, arrived early to ensure familiarity with the remote location, was immaculately attired, and sounded the General Salute, Sunset, Last Post, and Reveille with moving grace. Truly, we could not have wished for more.

An absolute amazing service, not made difficult to book at a time where easiness is required. Very understanding, and everything that was offered was carried through in such a professional manner. Bugler, in very smart uniform, played wonderfully. Made our Italy Star Association 1943-1945 Reunion Memorial Service in Canterbury very special. He was kind & very pleasant.

We were holding a re-dedication service at our Liverpool Scottish memorial at the The National memorial Arboretum and Antonio marched with our Pipe Band to the memorial and played the Last Post and Reveille for us beautifully. The occasion went well and was certainly enhanced by Antonio's presence. He is a gifted bugler, his dress uniform was immaculate, he was punctual and supportive of all we did on the day.

Antonio pulled out the stops to source a musician at last minute for a cremation and kept me informed the whole way through. Totally professional service.

We have just said farewell to a family member who served in the paratroop regiment, we contacted Antonio who was very understanding and professional, advised us of the meaning of sunset, last post and Reveille, this sounded perfect and a bugler was arranged. We had Dick Stacey who even know the weather was terrible brought tears to many with these tunes played wonderfully, this definitely added to his send off, 100% recommend this company. I am a Funeral Director in Cardiff, and we recently had a funeral for a former Welsh Guard. We got in touch with Antonio as the family wanted a bugler to play The Last Post during the service. From the first phone call, Antonio was incredibly helpful, kind, and kept us up to date on everything. On the day of the service, Antonio was dressed in his uniform, played beautifully and respectfully, and was so friendly and kind to the mourners and staff. He had time to talk to anyone who approached him, and even had photos with the family. It was a really beautiful day, made all that much more special with Antonio attending. Antonio has bugled for HMS Neptune Association at our annual service at the National Memorial Arboretum for several years. His smart uniform and his playing have made this a very special event. Not only does he play the Last Post and Reveille but will play music to accompany our singing of Eternal Father. Can thoroughly recommend.
