Hi Ed,

Thanks for leaving the note just to clarify a few things.

'A while ago', was 14yrs ago.

Ransome ware is a form of malware designed to encrypt files on a device, rendering any files and the systems that rely on them unusable. We haven't done that, that is illegal.

We've had one price increase and one decrease in our 14 years of business.

When we launched we were €24.99 per month, we then switched to a freemium model. Freemium models only work when you get the numbers, it is like a pyramid business model. We couldn't get the numbers in Ireland. Wave owned the free space and the market was just too saturated to punch a hole in it.

After 5 years of trying to get the numbers on freemium, we sent an email to everyone explaining that what and why we were increasing the price to €27.99/m. Everybody seemed happy, as we only churned a couple of users.

Soon after that, we launched a €14.99/m price point. We've had under 20 users sign-up for that plan. We feel that's cause there are enough free tools to coble an awkward poor value solution together, it attracts free not value customers.

Over the years we've noticed the SaaS tools that small businesses have to keep signing up for, but only use a portion of them. We also noticed all the great fintech products out there to help people get paid quicker, but they were complex to understand and hard to implement into a small business workflow. The final thing we noticed is small business owners have to stitch all this data together.

So 2 years ago we started acquiring products, rebuilding them and designing new ones. We applied for our Central Bank Licence to empower fintech in our products in a safe way.

About a year ago we emailed everyone to say we were becoming a regulated fintech company, then we emailed everyone again pre-Christmas '23 and now we're ready to launch we've emailed again in March '23. All standard launch stuff.

We don't see the new price as a price increase, 'an increase', is for the same product, we're delivering 8 new products with more to come in 2023-4 and only for €49/m. We're saving you €3,324 a year now.

One of the big changes we're bringing into the product is AI. I asked AI to write you a little poem. I hope it cheers you up Ed.

Hi John,

I'm a little confused as to why you're leaving this review. Everything was explained to you within minutes of you contacting support. We don't create the return you were looking for.

We create VAT3 returns, not VAT RTD returns. It's like 'confronting', a Car salesperson because they don't sell Aeroplanes.

We disengaged with you on support when you got abusive. We value our female support staff and their safety.

YOUR SITUATION
1) Bullet does a VAT 3 return (a domestic Irish return), you were looking for a VAT RTD return (a pan European return).
2) We never advertise doing the VAT RTD return.
3) We only advertise doing the VAT 3 return.
4) This was explained to you, but you didn't seem to understand that you were looking for a return we didn't do, there are hundreds of tax returns we don't do.
5) We offered you a full refund.
6) You continued to ask for the VAT RTD return, and we kept explaining we don't do the VAT RTD return.

WRONG VAT3 Data
Bullet is 14 years old and we've created automated VAT3 returns for all those years. Our returns system doesn't create a physical return but a digital one that is uploaded directly into the Irish Tax Office, ROS. In 14 years we have never created an incorrect VAT return. Nor have we ever received a query from the Irish Tax office.
Your statement is false.

GLORIFIED EXCEL
There are over 2 million lines of code in our system. We are a full double entry accounting and payroll product, with full foreign exchange built in.

Let me explain what’s happened. Bullet has two products an international product under the domain Bullethq.COM and an Irish product under Bullethq.IE

The international product is a stripped-down version of the Irish product, there is no payroll, tax automation, or live support so we just keep it freemium for lead generation.

The Irish product is a full-blown account and payroll product with tax automation and live support. To provide live support and keep 3 million lines of code secure and up to date, we have to charge a small fee, starting at €14.99/m.
We have this clearly defined and stated on both our marketing sites. We also have built technology that captures your location and routes you to the correct marketing site. The issue I believe that caught you was browsers work pretty hard to hide people's locations so sometimes our technology doesn’t pick location up, it’s also not an exact science we should have made it easier to notice.

Although we work pretty hard to route people to the correct site and have always been transparent. We’d like to apologise for this failure on our behalf, if you wish to keep the review up that’s no problem if you don’t that would be great.
