Aleks definitely knows his stuff, and there are some legit high-level players in the group. Just keep in mind you'll need more than the initial $5k investment. You'll also need money for connects and marketing. I'd recommend having at least an extra $1,000/month available for ads and business expenses.

If you're new to business, be prepared to put in a lot of work. One thing I noticed is that the program isn't very technical, so you'll likely need to buy additional courses or training to learn and improve your actual service delivery. There were quite a few beginners in the group who struggled to make money because of that.

One thing I wasn't a fan of was the ongoing $200/month fee. If you leave the program and later want back in, you have to pay the full $5k again.

Overall, I can't complain too much because I made money and got around a 10x return on my investment. Aleks knows how to get results, but his coaching style is intense. He's very direct and can come across like a drill sergeant at times. Personally, I could have done without all the yelling, but that's just his style..

All the team at BMI is great. My business became much more active since I joined — I generated more sales in 3 weeks than in the previous 5 months. When I joined, I was just fired from my freelance job as a Facebook ads expert. The coaching and community's advice and help have been pillar-stones to starting my business from 0 and growing it to six figures. If you follow the steps in the course and the advice from the trainers, it is impossible to fail.

The tone of voice of Aleks is very unprofessional. He shouts at his trainees and calls them names.

He formulates things very vaguely so as not to make himself vulnerable. For example, "there are people who earn money on the platform" (not it is definitely possible for you with your offer to make money). It is not said in advance that you should plan to invest several 1000 USD for upwork credits in addition to the investment for the coaching. Overall, it was a waste of money and I would strongly advise anyone against it. If you are recommended by a BMI member you should know that they get a commission, that is one of the incentives for them.

BMI is an amazing mentorship program if you are unsure how to start your own business. I had very little knowledge on how to start a marketing agency but with BMI’s step by step process and support from the wider community it has made it 1000x easier. Ultimately it is down to you to apply the knowledge and feedback to get results and its 100% worth it.
