E and B pawnbrokers in NJ are scammers

Submitted 20 offers to E and B pawnbroker in New Jersey. They declined all offers which was ok so I bought 6 items (silver coins) at their full price and paid. I then see that my order is cancelled and they say all items were “mispriced”. Lies. These coins were current value and they saw their price compared to my offer and didn’t change anything until I purchased. This site does nothing to regulate its scummy vendors. You can’t even leave your vendor feedback so not sure why they bother saying 100% positive lol.

This website waste your time

This website waste your time. You go through the effort of hunting and looking for a good deal. The seller post an item for something at the time profitable for them and will not honor that price when the market shifts. No remorse no effort from buya to allow the seller to know ahead of time it is a waste. All the power stays with the seller.

Amigo Pawn and Jewelry's original post for the item, a Parrot Anafi Drone, had offered shipping with a $5. fee, but apparently, the item is a pick-up in store only if an offer is made for less than their asking price. Seems like a bate-and-switch tactic.

Website needs to be made more useable

I was able to find a rare item at a very good price, but on the website, there seems to be no way to search within a certain location. Very annoying to find something you want to buy, and learn that it's only available for pickup at a store thousands of miles away.
Also, if the item is in the USA, there's no way to buy it from Canada, In the payment information, the only choice is USA.
Website does not show any items for some shops.

Unresponsive if something goes wrong

I made an offer on an item from "Pawn 1 Hillyard" on the buya platform and it was accepted. I then paid for the item online at the agreed upon price. Then without any communication from "Pawn 1 Hillyard" the purchase was cancelled.

I emailed the shop, but have received no response. I then made another identical offer, as I read online that sometimes purchases are automatically cancelled if the billing and shipping address do not match (fraud prevention).
My second offer was rejected, and the item is still for sale.

I cannot seem to leave a review about this purchase as it was cancelled. If they accepted the offer by mistake, I would like them to admit that, and be given the opportunity to leave a review about their mistake so that other buyers are warned.

It was not "out of stock" because the item is still for sale. The Buya website says there is a 100 percent customer satisfaction guarantee, but this experience is not meeting that.

I have ordered through Buya before and found some good deals, but when I emailed Buya (email found in FAQ on their website) last week about this issue, there has been no response from them after 7 days.

Buya.com is run by Bravo Systems. Their phone number is 888.407.6287
I called Bravo systems, and the representative was not aware of what Buya.com was. She asked a supervisor about it, and the supervisor confirmed that buya.com was a part of Bravo systems. She then said she would take a message and have someone call me back, and she gave me a number for Bravo sales, which was 725.888.4070
When I tried calling sales the number was blocked or not working.

In summary, it seems buya.com is basically unresponsive to all issues, and the pawn shops are a mixed bag. You may be able to find a good pawn shop through buya, but in my experience no one at buya.com will be stepping in to help if there is an issue.

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. I purchased a car camp from it to a pawn broker to be told 5 days later that they could not find what I bought and refunded the money. I never received a refund and lost $110.

Check the seller's feedback. VISTA PAWN was great

Buya is a pawn shop resale site. Your experience will depend on whom you are dealing with. I wanted an Instapot with a stainless liner that has a yogurt making function as I'm transitioning into a healthier lifestyle. Those things are expensive.

VISTA PAWN had a new one that was nearly half price with shipping factored in. So I took a chance. I'm thrilled, and am now making Teflon-free soups, beans, yogurt and even sour cream.

They are absolutely not trustworthy!

They are extremely horrible and not trustworthy. I made an offer for a blu ray player, and they excepted my offer quickly. That was 5 days prior to the date of this post. I was curious why it was taking a long time for them ship it. Then 5 days later, I get an email after their closing time to notify me the order has been canceled. It was a generated email. There was no call or email explaining the reason for cancelation, no apology, no nothing! I would not by a breathing machine from them if I was dying. The just will not honor their commitment and can not be trusted. It was my first and will be my last experience with them!

They never check items if are working or not.

They don't check or test the items they sold, especially electronic stuff.
It happened to me two times had to send item back because was not working as should.
Wasted time, but also money because you have to pay for the shipping return, even item sold is no working or not as described.
Never again from buya!
