At Moughenda’s Village one becomes a relative to all people. We learn to understand in the Bwété community we are making relatives. We are keeping relatives. We are caring for relatives beyond death. We are feeding and nurturing relatives not yet born. Everyone is treated as a relative. You will be loved. Sometimes firmly, but the love does not waiver. They are rich in that. You will be richer for it.

Moughenda’s personal and professional integration of teaching facilitated my understanding and appreciation of our Bwiti tradition, and the safe and effective application of Iboga.

There is no one more experienced in Gabon to share about the Bwiti tradition and Iboga ceremonies. Moughenda is truly a gifted healer and the best person to teach westerners in how to provide Iboga medicine.
All the healers, shamans and villagers who come together at Moughenda's Village is absolutely amazing.

I searched for years to find answers, to really find something that made sense, and to find a teacher that could offer the guidance I was seeking in this life. I didn’t know how to find those answers until I arrived in Gabon to Moughenda’s village. Meeting Moughenda and being so warmly welcomed into Bwiti tradition in the village is an experience that has forever changed me for the better. I am so grateful for the love and support shown to me in Moughenda’s village, both by Moughenda and his team. This Bwiti family has been the backbone of the most incredible growth and dive into truth, that so lovingly pushed me to break through my own nonsense and step fully into the best version of myself. It’s an honor and a blessing to be guided in this study of life by Moughenda, the medicine, and everyone supporting the amazing work happening in his village. Moughenda is a masterful healer who upholds the highest integrity, and every minute with him is a gift.

I'd experience healing retreats before with other plant medicines but my experience with Moughenda and Iboga in Gabon was far beyond anything else.

It is a safe experience with people you can trust and worth the price of admission.

In 2022, I spent 4 months in Moughenda’s village for both psycho-spiritual provider training as well as drug & alcohol detox training. My time with Moughenda and the Bwiti Tribe was life changing. Fully stepping into the Bwiti tradition allowed me to see the Truth, which allowed me to understand the healing process. Moughenda has the purest of hearts and is an incredible mentor. It is an honor to work under him and help Iboga medicine reach the people of the world.

I went to Gabon, Africa, to Moughenda’s Village in 2020, to be trained as an Iboga Provider. Moughenda himself welcomed me and my friend at the airport since he was in Libreville that day. We got transported to his Village that evening and got to spend 2 months there. The training was hands-on, very well structured and covered all aspects of being a safe and knowledgeable Provider. Everyone was respectful and helpful throughout my whole stay. Moughenda’s teachings are rooted in his connection to the Medicine therefore his words were real, true and deeply transforming at all times. We were fed well, the food was delicious and I met some really amazing people there. Moughenda and his tribe are very welcoming. Anyone who wants to heal from within, or would like to experience a deep and divine connection with their one true self would highly benefit going there for two weeks; and those who feel called to become a Provider and the calling comes from the heart and not from the mind, will be guided there by the Spirit of Iboga with each step. I’m forever grateful for the Spirit of Iboga, Moughenda, the Bwiti, and all the wonderful people I met there and since then.

I came here because of an intuitive connection with Iboga. I had experienced Iboga here in Canada and felt called to go deeper with my own healing an connection to the medicine.
My time here in Gabon with Moughenda and his team and community was a gift to myself. I was able to finally experience the deep physiological and mental reset I needed to help me shift into a better lifestyle and better relationship with myself, long-term.
Travelling as a single woman, and being inexperienced with travel, I was apprehensive to make this trip. However I listened to my intuition and decided to go anyway. I felt nothing but safe and protected the entire time.
I met a lot of new friends from different parts of the world while I was here, in addition to the doing the deep healing work.
Overall, this experienced helped me get a lot more connected, grounded, balanced, and strong within myself. I healed from chronic adrenal fatigue physically - and spiritually- learned to be at peace with myself finally.
I would highly recommend this experience. If you are feeling called, just make the decision and do it.

I have been introduced to the Bwiti tradition 2 years ago at a center by one of Moughenda’s trained providers. Everything has been very professional as well as very friendly and I have undergone amazing healing. Last year, I decided to go directly to the source - to to Moughenda’s village in Gabon. The entire experience has been amazing from the start to finish. There was an excellent communication via email and WhatsApp to get me ready for my trip. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about going to Africa at first, however, Moughenda has had excellent network of professionals who will pick you up at the airport, accommodate you in Libreville (if necessary with late or early flights) and will drive you to the village. The staff at the village are one of the nicest people who will care for you with their hearts - be it the laundry, food (we got two chefs catering to us) and room cleaning. They will also take you to the nearest town if you need to buy something. The ceremonies at the village have been the best. Live Bwiti music with authentic dances and costumes dating hundred years back. All tradition passed by mouth. I have learned so much about human mind and consciousness at the village in the short two weeks then in any spiritual book or TV documentaries. It is amazing how much the Bwiti people know about the human nature and nature itself. You can apply the knowledge to any aspect of your life - personal or professional.Moughenda has been an amazing teacher and shaman- the true guardian of the truth. I have had so much respect for him for what he has been doing and the healing I have received. I also met many wonderful people here who became my long time friends (even brothers and sisters in spiritual meaning). The overall experience has been very positive and exciting that I decided to come back to. Moughenda’s village for more knowledge and training. Before my experience with Bwiti culture or Moughenda's village in Gabon I was just an African woman dealing with life struggles and on a quest to understand herself. Stepping out of my comfort zone was the most scariest experience but Moughenda and his team supported me until I arrived the village where i experienced love and warmth in their receptive nature.
I do recommend Moughenda to anyone who really do want that Good turn in life and I promise,you won't regret your decision. As a Shaman and as a host, i would gladly say that Moughenda is the best,for he patient as a teacher and a caregiver.
The women are warm, kind and beautiful. I must recommend Our dear Freda she is beautiful and a good codinator during dances, ensuring our wrappers where good and always looking out for my hot bath. She's kind.
