Buyers beware!! Received a necklace I ordered in August and was disappointed with the quality (pendant was a v different shade of gold from the chain and the mother of pearl in the pendant was dull and looked poor quality for the price). Have contacted them via the support email several times since to ask how to return for a refund but no response.

Gold colour comes off so quickly. It’s expensive but really cheap quality. Don’t waste your money!!

I purchased a pair of the Nakai Earrings in Gold a few years ago.

When they arrived I was worried that were very heavy. Normally with an earring of that size the metal part is hollow. I emailed and was told that they hadn't had any problems and would be fine.

I only wore them 4 times and had problems with them every time I wore them. They are incredibly heavy and pull my piercing into a slit from the weight. The fastenings are very stiff and pull, hurt and bleed when I tried to remove the backs of the studs to take off the earrings.

Worst of all the earrings turned my piercings holes green and the earring studs themselves. They made my ears pusey and green each time I wore them and the last time they gave my right ear's piercing an infection which scarred the back of my ear when it healed. When I took them to my jeweller he said that the gold plating must have been mixed with something else as well or not gold at all to cause them to go green with contact with my skin. I have many gold plated earrings that cause me no issues at all.

Along with these issues the stone star at the bottom of the earrings haven't been cut properly. The person cutting them has cut too far and taken a nick out of the bottom. (Illustrated in the first photo).

I complained and they didn't investigate and ask to send them back and see them and I didn't get a refund. Now I realised I could have disputed this with Paypal but unfortunately it was too long ago . Such a waste of money for cheap tat. Cleaning out my jewellery box today and thought its finally time I warned other people about this brand, saw on another site someone had the exact same issue as me. Avoid!
