I would never join an app which allows racist scammers like Ashley Trevino to have a platform!

Absolutely thrilled with my cameo video, 🌟 💫 ordered for my Mum for Christmas, 💝William Roache aka, Ken Barlow from coronation street was absolutely fantastic, delivered a highly personalised video which was played to my mum on Christmas Day 🤶, she was touched by the message that was delivered for her 😘 but is still trying to work out how it came through the tv 😂🤣, overall delighted, worth every penny!! Thank you soo much 💝

GARBAGE. GOT ONE DONE FOR XMAS AND THEY TELL ME SORRY ITS NOT ARE FAULT. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED

Booked Kit Young for a video message. No message arrived and Cameo unwilling to help chase up. Pointless service. Avoid both as they are a huge let down

Absolutely terrible I would never use this site again I booked 2 video messages for my kids so they keep hold of your money because they have 7days to see if they feel like actually doing your video in the first place 🤯 one of the people actually seen my request couldn’t be bothered doing it and the other went over the 7 days and timed out so I tried to do it again and was only going to put me on a waiting list? Absolute JOKE! I even tried another 1 paid for it in the end I cancelled it so I ended up paying for 3 messages and got 0 And they keep a hold on your money for a extra 5to7 after that before they release your money! I emailed them and they got back to me saying what I’ve already said they got 7 days to see if they want to do it or not 🤯🫣🤣😂 take my advice stay away unless you want to loan someone money for 2 weeks! that’s all your doing with this website THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY they don’t offer customer support or have a chance to leave feedback! I'm really disappointed in my experience with Cameo...you pay not only for the talent but they're upselling you on expediting, removing their logo, for a card to accompany the message, and today the talent asked me to provide more detail...Cameo only allows 250 characters which I used...in order to send an additional message it cost me $10. I won't use them again.

Ordered a video from Juliet Landou, she responded immediately saying she was strapped for time but would deliver after a week delay. Which she did. She personalised the video perfectly! High quality video with a fun twist. Others have commented it looks like AI but I don’t think so.

No video no refund, scammers

I ordered a video for my husband from one of his favourite online personalities for Christmas thinking it would be an easy gift to give and something meaningful since it's someone we both enjoy watching. It said on the site the person had previously completed a cameo a couple of days prior, so I wasn't initially worried. Cut to yesterday when I am on the phone with my husband and the video request times out. It's a cool idea, but I don't get why I had to wait a week to be told my video request was denied, which is now leaving me to scramble to get a new big gift for him. These videos don't come cheap, so I'd rather invest my money into something I know I can get rather than what feels like a shot in the dark of whether or not the request will be fulfilled. Did I get my money back as soon as the request timed out? Yes. Am I incredibly disappointed? Also yes.

Really bad first try with cameo. My request timed out? So got a refund. It didnt allow me to leave a review on the site. Or I would have said although actively advertising cameos mine wasn't completed etc. As soon as I had a refund I started getting emails from cameo saying the same stars cameos were open and why not book one?
They may have processing fee i dunno but got refunded less than I paid for it too.

Booked a video, at the reduced 'black Friday sale' price. The video then wasn't completed on time and was then asked to re-purchase at the increased price. The celebrity asked has been doing other videos in the interim. Just not mine..... Cool idea, zero accountability for a celebrity who doesn't actually deliver....

Rubbish. Booked 3 seperate times for my friend's birthday, with 2 different celebs, both of whom never completed the cameos. Why be listed on the website if you're not going to bother completing the orders? I was really looking forward to surprising my friend, felt totally let down.

I am seeing a lot of same experiences with cameo. I made a purchase and then had a ton of unexpected fees and my purchase order did not even get fulfilled. Stay away.

Getting Cameos can take a long time. If you’re a Wrestling fan i recommend you get Bret The Hitman Hart.
He went above & beyond with such a beautiful message.
I tried booking Ric Flair who was very expensive and he just couldn’t be bothered.
Plus it took ages to get a refund and that part was very stressful.
If your going to get a Cameo for someone, make sure the celebrity in question is likely to do it and is a moral person and isn’t a selfish person who cares more about keeping their image alive than the fans who made them who they are.

I tried 4 separate times to book a cameo with an artist and each time it said it could not be completed. Cameo would email me saying the talent requested to complete my expired request and then still I did not receive the Cameo.

You line up the Creator for a birthday present and it's just cancelled without explanation. It's happened both times I've used it. You get a message that says the creator has 7 days to make the video, then unexplainably you get a message 5 days later saying the Creator neither accepted or declined but the order was cancelled. This is an acceptable business practice to cameo. This would be a great gift on a vacation (nothing to pack) but here i am scrambling to find something else for my wife. Terrible

Celebrity video message was fine but date for ‘birthday’ is in American style format so celeb stated birthday as 11th February instead of 2nd November! UK users need to be made aware as all other dates, like payment dates and time to respond during order process are in usual Uk format. Disappointing when I paid £75.

Paid to have James Marsters do a video and it was great. It got delivered in a few days and was more than I had expected him to do. The down side after I got the video it asked for a tip which I was happy to do except Cameo charges an additional 10% service fee on top of the tip. Even worse Cameo takes a portion of the tip. They want to charge me for the ability to give them more money it is kind of a joke.
