I paid for a video, I never received it and when prompted they explained the celebrity didn’t do it. No accountability on the celebrities side. They still have my money and I have been chasing them for over two weeks to get it back, just getting silence back from them :(

Never recieved the video and it’s timed out and been cancelled and was a waste of time and money do not recommend at all

UPDATE: Rebooked another TWO times and the requests have expired again. They mention they’ll speak to the celebs talent manager but completely ridiculous that you pay hundreds for the service and they don’t care as “you’ll get a refund” I don’t understand why they keep allowing Celebs on the platform who have no intention of completing what you’ve paid for!!!!

Paid for a video with 24 hour delivery. Video not received. Send a message to them and they said it can now take up to 7 days to complete. Then request expired after 3 days. Absolutely ridiculous service. Emails go unanswered. Stop offering the service if you’re allowing the “celebs” to not follow through.

I was thrilled with my video birthday message from Danny Dyer. He completely met the brief and I loved his message so genuine and a fab birthday gift from my husband. From Betty

I ordered a video which went unfulfilled (7 days). Complete disappointment as the talent has a 5.0 rating. I will not use Cameo again.

As an event planner/caterer I couldn’t recommend this company highly enough.
This is my second year using Cameo for my events, they consistently deliver a high level of service. The ordering is always so easy, down to the fact they have the most helpful and friendly team.
They even sourced me fridges from another company last minute and had them delivered with my order. Any last minute changes to my orders have never been an issue.
Drop off has always arrived at the agreed time, the guys are always super helpful with getting the equipment to the right part of the marquee.I will add that any requests for an earlier drop off has never been a problem, with a small fee.

AVOID - TOTAL SCAM - WOULD BE NO STARS GIVEN THE OPTION

Have been billed twice for one video message that couldn’t be delivered in time so cancelled the order, no customer services contact so having to go through the credit card company.

Got the video but the charged me 20percent more than listed. When I complained they fobbed me off

The cost of the video was around £55 which was more than I wanted to pay but would have been worth it for my husband's reaction. You're only allowed 250 characters to send a message to the person doing the video or else you can pay an extra £14 for an extra 400 characters. An absolute rip-off. So I spent a long time trying to get as much info into the 250 characters as I could to make the message as personalised as possible. They then added a service fee. What for? 7 day delivery is included in the cost but I needed it sooner so paid another £13. It's double that for 24 hour delivery which I could really have done with but couldn't afford and I was happy to receive it the morning after his birthday. All in the cost was £75.85. My husband's birthday came and went and bang on the 3 day deadline I received an email saying my request had expired and did I want to rebook. No, I don't want to rebook. I paid a ridiculous amount for something my husband would have really loved and achieved nothing. There's no communication as to why you haven't received the video. I'd rather they rejected it as soon as I booked it than be led to believe, for 3 days, that the video is on its way. I understand the people doing the videos are busy and may not be able to fulfil the request but when they are bought as birthday/christmas presents etc these videos really mean something and if they can't be fulfilled more notice needs to be given.

Paid for a service I never received. Contacted them and had a response. They asked for a screen shot of my purchase and last 4 digits of my card and then just got ignored. Had to raise a dispute with my bank to get my money back

Stole my money and sent me a 4 year old video for someone’s birthday referencing covid lockdowns, not a get well video!
Customer (dis)service is a joke. I was issued a ticket # for my situation. When I emailed to follow up I got another ticket number and a second follow up days later issued a THIRD ticket #!

DO NOT USE THEM! They are scum!

UPDATE: no communication or explanation but just over a week later (for a specifically ordered 24 hr turnaround video), got an email with my video. I cancelled card dispute but will still not use Cameo again. Customer service goes a long way.

Don't waste your money
I paid for 2 different messages and never heard from anyone. After reviewing, it seems they take your money and don't deliver

Ordered a cameo. Star sent it on time but haven’t been able to access it. Customer Service gave 2 suggestions that didn’t work. Then ever responded again.

I would give zero stars if I could. My fiancée was turning 50 and loves Otep... Otep Shamaya is one of his favorite voices. So O paid for a video... they held my $$ for 7 days and then on his birthday cancelled it be because Otep didn't make the video. Why be on there if you don't fulfill your part? Dislike Cameo and dislike Otep after this experience. So he didn't get the birthday gift and I had nothing to give him... thank goodness I threw the party for him. Thumbs down for Otep... thumbs down for Cameo.

Over the last 2 months I requested 8 times for Smokey Robinson to create a video and 8 times it could not be completed in the 7-day standard time frame. No response from customer support. Very disappointing.

In addition, the price increased $100 during the 8 attempts. I finally gave up.

I have had the worst experience with cameo not once, not twice but three times. My wife has had three great videos. My first video that I wanted the celebrity got my name wrong. When I wanted a pep talk from them. The second was I wrote down what I wanted to say and she didn't even say 1 thing that I wanted her to say. And the third one my daughter wanted me to get roasting and she choose the 7 day free delivery. After the 3rd day i got a message saying on my cameo account the video has been cancelled as it wasn't fulfilled within the specified time. But yet I had still 4 days to receive it. Very very disappointed and pissed off. I cannot afford to waste money like that. As I only work part time. I WILL NOT BE WASTING ANY MORE TIME OR MONEY CAMEO. On any more videos

So seen cameo so decided to give it a go and found a UFC fighter Dan hooker and paid the money and waited to only find my money was refunded few days later and told to retry again!

If the company can’t get the request sorted then I’m not one for second chances and too waste my time further

So not happy

Totally predatory contract. The customer service never reply on purpose, then lets your contract lapse in order to take your money as there is a credit expiration date. In other words, this company keeps the money no matter what, that has a name and is called stealing. Does not matter if it is on the contract in small font.

Ho comprato oggi alla coop questa torta allo yogurt cameo e nel preparare la base al biscotto quando ho introdotto il burro fuso sentivo un odore strano ma non ho fatto peso alla cosa.Dopo due ore che l'ho preparata e messa in frigo l'ho tirata fuori e iniziato a fare le fette abbiamo iniziato a mangiare la base al biscotto con un cattivo sapore ma brutto immangiabile che schifo ho ancora l'odore e il sapore vomitevole in bocca pessimo e tra l'altro per il prodotto che è costa pure tanto per poi avere cibo scadente.
