A First Class Company Representative
I recently received into my home a surveyor from Camsure, who came to carry out a survey of my property on behalf my prospective purchaser.
Politely introducing himself as Sam Harris, he explained the purpose of his visit, and upon entering my home he immediately removed his footwear, always in my view a good sign that the integrity of my home was going to be respected, he then proceeded to undertake his task of examining the various rooms of my home internally, as well as carrying out what appeared to be an extremely thorough external investigation, and throughout his ongoing task, in all exchanges that took place between us when he asked me various questions regarding access points as well as various further historical information relating to aspects of the building, his manner was both polite, respectful and most certainly very professional, I have to say that my whole experience was one of being at ease with someone who clearly knew his remit and carried it out with as little inconvenience to me as was possible, in fact I was so impressed with his work that I have decided to use Camsure for my own survey as and when I require it. To conclude my review I would like to record my appreciation for the respect shown to my property, and also the clear professionalism of Sam Harris, he is certainly a worthy ambassador for your company.

We have looked into the matter and can confirm following receipt of your comments, the surveyor carried out a detailed review of the valuation and responded to the queries raised. An amended report was subsequently issued to address a very minor wording reference within the report commentary. The valuation methodology and valuation figures themselves were reviewed and remained unchanged.
Retrospective valuations often involve professional judgement, methodology and interpretation of available market evidence, and it is not uncommon for clients to seek further clarification on these matters. We were pleased to provide that clarification and address the points raised.
We take all feedback seriously and remain committed to producing professional valuations in accordance with RICS standards.
