I had an awful experience with Canopy
I had an awful experience with Canopy, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
They're very intrusive and pushy, lots of fake messages trying to make you buy extras like van rental, utilities, etc.
After completing my renting passport and get everything sorted according with my letting agent, I've received another email from Canopy asking for proof for right to rent- I thought straight away that's a joke!
More than this, they sent another message saying my subscription will be renewed on 22nd of May , 3 weeks after my first payment! Canopy, whoever is behind ,they are a bunch of crooks, money grabbing , and I would advise anyone including the letting agents to stay away from them! And read the genuine reviews not the fake five stars ones!

The registration process is straightforward and how I could have an overview of my expected bills is a plus and it enables me to do a proper budgeting and planning of my bills.

I wouldn’t even give it one star! You phone Canopy, “ Hello. Let’s mojo, how can I help?” I need to speak to someone from Canopy please. “ Yes. That’s me. How can I help?” But you didn’t answer the phone with the word Canopy in. “ but we are the same company!
They might well be the same company but they obviously don’t communicate with each other. An email arrives from Let mojo re not filling in the reference form properly and immediately another comes from Canopy telling me it’s completed. My husband has his own firm to fill only yes/ no answers so no chance of elaborating. The rent comes out of my bank account and not out of husbands so technically he’s never rented before! So he has to provide a character reference! His income doesn’t warrant him renting the property! So I can rent and live there on my own but without my husband! My present landlord has had to supply a reference twice. One for me and another for my husband. I get an email saying let’s arrange your removals for the 18th. That should be fun. Our moving date is the 24th. This company should not be trading! They are pressing me to purchase home contents insurance, advising me which utilities to use and suggesting I consolidate our outgoings into one monthly payment. Letmojo/ Canopy should not be trading.

Do your research
One of the reasons I joined Canopy was to boost my credit score and improve visibility into my rent payments.
Little did I know that this platform does not report to all agencies; it only appears on my Equifax, and has done nothing for my score!
My mortgage provider is not interested in Equifax, only checks my file as it is more accurate, a waste of money for two years!

Needed the Personal touch
Initially found trying to complete the online process really problematic (probably as I am self employed so more complicated) however I called the helpline and spoke to Erin who quite honestly turned this score from a 1 to a 4 she was very helpful and made sure I got the form complete.
