Similar review to the majority of others. Had our tourer from about October 2025 and had it back end of March 26. Floor still damp. No customer service. We had to constantly ring and call into their office. Gave our keys to a different customer. Cost us £1,000s as we wanted to sell but couldn’t because of the wait and their poor workmanship. Glad to get it back eventually and would advise anyone not to trust this company.

This company is the worst i have ever come across
The 78% bad reviews on this terrible company are 100% accurate thy are a terrible unprofessional company and i can confirm if you take your caravan or moterhome to them you will be so sorry you did and you be in for a world of pain thy have a bunch of clowns working for them who dont have a clue as to what thy are doing thy had my moterhome for 9 months and didn't do a thing then when i pick it up it was still not right so back in again this time for 6 months thy left my 60k moterhome in a field which was infested with mice that got in to our moterhome and destroyed a lot of trims in our cupboard and lots of personal items there was mice droppings everywhere thy allso damaged parts thy dont take parts of carefully thy just rip them of and brake them also the lying you will get from this company is of the chart parts always take 6 to 7 months to get when you call them all there staff are trained to lie to you its a disgusting place to go to how thy are even trading i dont no workmanship very very bad lies all the time from Andrea and the staff im telling you now if you take your vehicle to this lot of plums you will be in for a big shock stay will away reviews dont lie im going to be taken them to court and also ill contact trading standards so if you want to come in on a group claim contact me as thy should be shut down allso look them up in companys House thy have been devolved more times than a Alka-Seltzer you go there at your own risk bad bad bad company thy will destroy your moterhome and i can guarantee you will be sorry you did but if i was you stay well clear of this lot of incompetent lot of clowns 🤡

Excellent Service..., Kept me informed during the process of fixing my Bailey Unicorn. I was advised there was a delay on parts however, I know this is problematic nationwide as I tried to source parts myself. Excellent workmanship. Thank you and would definitely recommend.
Do not believe a word they say!
In July 2022, Carafit undertook a mobile service of my caravan and found 2 areas of damp. The van then went in for repair under warranty. In the 2023 service, they found an excess moisture reading in an area close to one of the repaired areas and said they'd need to do a 2nd reading to see if it was damp.
They did not come out to do the 2nd reading, in spite of waiting in all day for a visit that did not take place. I then had to take my van out of storage near Tenby and take it to Carafit in December for a repair that might or not have been needed.
On collection, I was told the window blind was damaged and they'd send me a replacement in January. There was nothing wrong with the blind before it went in for repair but I accepted that accidents happen and waited for the replacement.
Nearly 5 months late and still no blind despite a number of emails, a phone call and a visit. Excuses include - part out of stock, problems with paperwork, Europe (?). When a friend phoned for me, he was told they'd spoken to me the day before (lie). I was promised a call from Andrea (never happened).
I have given up and ordered a replacement myself. The part was immediately available on the Bailey/Prima website so they lied about it being out of stock. I ordered the part one day and it arrived the next. Very upset having to pay for something that they broke but I've realised that they will never replace it.
USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL!
They shouldn't be called CARAFIT more like CANT FIT!
Two months I got in touch with a company called CARAFIT to arrange for them to fit a light that we had already purchased, so it was a simple job for their engineer to take the old off and put the new one on. The other job we requested for them to do was to fit the connector plate to the outside of our Hobby to enable us to be able to fit a whale pump connector or truma whichever they felt was the better option. As we had moved to a seasonal pitch we wanted to have a system whereby the tank automatically filled when required rather than us filling it all the time. I had booked the company way ahead so that the jobs were done at the beginning of the season and 2 weeks ago I called CARAFIT to confirm the booking for 13th March, 10.30 -11.30 am. Both times when I called CARAFIT I made them fully aware that we had to travel 200 MILES to the caravan which is why we needed them to confirm and also the boss was also aware that I was going through treatment for cancer and that I was going back into hospital on the 17th March for my 3rd operation, trying to beat this.
On the 13th we travelled early to the site just in case we got stuck in traffic. Not long after the engineer was due to arrive, roughly lunchtime I received a call from the boss of CARAFIT, Andrea, advising me that the were still awaiting a part and therefore they wouldn't be with us until the next day. I was disappointed bearing in mind this had been booked for sometime but at least they were coming the next day about the same time.
On the 14th we got up early and got ready for the engineer again we waited and waited but nobody arrived. We waited until after lunch because we thought if there had still been an issue they would have called us to let us know so they must be running late. By about 2ish I decided to phone CARAFIT, I actually phoned them 6 times but every time I phoned the members of staff who answered acknowledge my call until they asked my name and suddenly each and every one of them suddenly couldn't manage to hear me! On the 6th phone call the boss answered the phone she told me that they were still waiting for a part. I was annoyed and reminded her how long ago I had booked this and I stated so it's not happening again today, even though this was booked so far ahead, WHY haven't you got the parts in already? Also if you havent got the parts in for the water you can at least be here to do one job, you are fully aware that we have done a 400 mile trip all around and you assured me that this would be done on the 13th. She then confirmed they have deliveries coming incoming in all several times a day and as soon as it was in they had the staff to come out and do the job. At this point I actually asked if we were wasting our time waiting? She confirmed the delivery was expected any time and that we should wait.
On the 15th we were back up early and again took the table down and got ready for our visit from CARAFIT. By 12 ish I think I had steam coming out of my ears, I am a very poorly lady who was suppose to be on my way home already to start getting ready to go into hospital for surgery on the 17th March.
I phoned CARAFIT several times and low and behold there didn't appear to be any staff to answer the phone. I kept trying again and again until at last someone answered. I asked what was happening, where was our engineer and she put me on hold as she had to check with the boss. She came back with the part hasn't arrived but we will be with you as soon as we receive the parts. At that point I asked so there is no point me waiting then and she confirmed, yes it is as soon as its in we will be with you so again I left it with her that either CARAFIT would be with us but if it got to a time when it hadn't turned up and too late to come to us they would phone me.
At that point when I put the phone down ny husband said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH we are going home, your not well and CARAFIT have had us sitting here waiting for 3DAYS!!!
We have travelled home over 200miles and we were home by 8pm.it is now 23.00 and guess what WE STILL HAVENT HAD A CALL FROM CARAFIT!!!!

This company has no scruples, how can they treat a customer in such a way. Its not as if they haven't had plenty of notice. Their staff need to have additional training to improve their customer skills with customers.
Have they not git any firm of stock control.
It appears to me that there is one member of staff who holds all the cards and the rest of the staff can't answer any questions when it's comes to stock control.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME USING THIS COMPANY GELIEVE ME THERE ARE FAR BETTWR COMPANIES OUT THERE THAT TRULY KNOW ABOUT CUSTOMER CARE.
It would appear to me that CARAFIT staff gave no job satisfaction and looking at recent reviews, if I had read them before I would have NEVER used them and to be honest if they ate getting so many bad reviews and they certainly haven't pulled their socks up and tried to improve things then there is know hope for them
Don’t waste your time with this outfit
Had a problem with my Truma Combi 4 and rang Carafit to get a repair price (expecting it to be around £1000). Provided all the details, photos, error codes etc and they said they would get back to me with a price the same day. A week later still no price, so followed it up and checked with them again. Another week later and still no price so I’m going elsewhere. I should have read the TP reviews first and I wouldn’t have bothered wasting my time with Carafit! What a useless company and to think I was going to trust a major repair to them. Their loss and I won’t be calling them again.

Do not use this company, you'll regret it.
They did a service and a supposed temporary fix on the shower, this "fix"lasted 5 minutes and resulted in us having no water in our Caravan for most of last year and first part of this season.
The part had to come from Germany and supposedly didn't arrive for 5 months, the day before they were to do the repair, I phoned to see that everything was okay, to be told that new part was faulty. I was told that they had ordered another part that would be in the UK within 24 hours, strangely that part was faulty too??
I'd phoned them on numerous occasions, but the only thing they were consistent at was, telling lies.
Their communication skills were non existing and never got back to me when promised they would.
I thought Ennis were incompetent but this lot have beat them hands down.
Carafit are completely imcompetent in our opinion

Our experience with Carafit was horrific. All of the comments in the other reviews resonate with us. They had our Motorhome for six weeks and were no closer to finding the fault than the day we took it in.
Whenever we called for an update, there was always a part arriving the following day and they always promised to phone back with an update, they never did.
My Wife had the pleasure of sitting in their Reception and saw first hand how phone calls were just left to go to answerphone. At one point, they all just got up and went for lunch leaving my Wife sitting there.
I would not reccomend this business to my worse enemy, they will give you the runaround, lie to your face and won't have the first clue what they are doing.

If I could give zero stars I would. They've been promising for a year to fit an awning light to my van but they failed to keep in touch with me. For every 5 emails I sent them I was lucky enough to get one back. Another company has done it now for half the price quoted by these cowboys. Avoid at all costs
Carafit the rubbish Company
On 2nd July 2021 I took my year old Coachman caravan to Carafit for its first service and to get some warranty issues repaired. The service was carried out and I was told my warranty issues required the ordering of three dometic concertina blinds as mine had lost their tension, also a new control panel was required for my Dometic fridge as although it gets cold the mains indicator was not working. I was told I would receive a phone call when the parts came in. No phone call came so I phoned them on 3rd August for update. I was told the fridge part was in but the blinds weren’t. I phoned again 6th September for update as the promised call from Carafit never happen. I was told the blinds were coming in the following week. Another call to Carafit on 5th October I was told the blinds had been despatched but did not arrive at Carafit. Another call to Carafit a week later on 12th October I was told one blind had arrived but other two hadn’t. Another call to Carafit at the end October I was told blinds had arrived but they wanted to check to make sure they were correct. They would phone me, no call so I called them early November to make appointment for fitting. Then told the fitters had COVID and Carafit would contact me. No call so again I called them early January 2022 and was now told to bring caravan in on 21st January. On my way down I was telephoned by Carafit to turn around as they had COVID again. I was told they would phone me to arrange new appointment, again no call so I have now called them on 23rd February to say I wanted to bring the van in on Friday 4th March. Told by Carafit that they would come to me to fit blinds and fridge part but had to contact another customer to rearrange times as they wanted to come to me first. They said they would call me back and guess what up till now no phone call Also in the meantime my water pump has stopped working so they would have to supply a new one under warranty as now I cannot use my caravan. I’m sick to death of Carafit and their owner / receptionist Andrea and her repeated excuses and I am now going to take things further with the NCC and Coachman. I have dealt with the company for 16 plus years for services but I will never use them again and I suggest other people do the same. Trustpilot shows total of 77% of people think Carafit are bad to deal with so effectively 77 out of 100 customers will not go there again. What a way to run a business. PLEASE TAKE HEED AND DO NOT USE THEM
This seems like a fake company
I took my caravan to get some warranty work done in November 2021. They had already had seen the caravan to order the parts needed. They said that they had already put in a claim to Elddis for the work and had ordered the parts and the parts were in. So it should have been with them a few days. But 14 weeks later they gave me a green mouldy caravan back that had not been fixed. Water had been coming into the caravan for the entire time. When I rang them about the caravan they would lie and say that they were going to ring me. They would give every excuse under the sun to why the caravan was not ready. I was hoping to spend the new year in the caravan but I didn’t it back until February. So over the last 14 weeks the caravan had deteriorated significantly and the damp was widespread now. I asked them also to do other jobs, but they didn’t do any of them. When I rang Elddis, they said that they have not had any communication from Carafit. They had not made a claim or even rang them. So this company are a bunch of LIARS. You have been warned. Don’t take anything there to get repaired. I haven’t read these trustpilot reviews until today. I’m kicking myself now for not reading this before. A waste of 14 weeks and a caravan that is worth a lot less now. If you want to loose money and not see you vehicle for months, then go ahead and use this company. They lie and lie and lie. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Absolutely useless! Also utter liars!! Under no circumstances use this company. Look at Companies House online to see their history. I left writing this for a while.
In September 2018 I had minor damage to my motorhome rear bumper which needed replacing as well as the side skirt. They quoted me £500 and stated that it would take less than an hour to replace. After numerous statements that they said that they would fix it, after 9 months I removed the motorhome and took it up the road to a different repair company.
I was told that there was water ingress and that the sealant needed replacing. I agreed for them to sort it. They told me for 9 months that the sealant has cracked and a technician had been flown from Elddis to inspect the problem. I believed them. When expecting to pick up my motorhome one Saturday I was told that one of their technicians had died! I expressed my condolences. I believe the technician is alive and well! After finally losing patience, I inspected the van after 9 months. The old bumper had never been removed despite the owner telling me that it had been replaced but the sealant has cracked again. She even tried to fob with me off with a free extended insurance policy from an external company. I rang the company who disclosed that my motorhome had never been registered with them. The owner of Carafit told me that she had spoken to the representative of the company. The insurance company stated that they no longer had a representative in Wales for 1 year and they hadn’t dealt with Carafit since 2016!!
I spoke to Elddis who stated that Carafit had never ordered the parts for the repair but they had claimed for sealant repair and the insulation of the water tank. I had never signed the completion certificate so Carafit won’t be paid. The owner of Carafit did pay me compensation of less than £200 in 2018. This was to cover 2 habitation tests.
Another repair company have fixed my motorhome. They noticed paint sprayed on a side light. This is from Carafit. The repair actually took a day, not one hour, which was a ridiculous quote from Carafit.
The owner of Carafit lied to me on numerous occasions and I have the evidence. The company couldn’t even do the habitation test correctly! An O ring was missing from the gas pipe which they failed to notice.
I don’t know how this company makes money. As I said, interesting reading on Companies House website!
Totally unreliable
Totally unreliable and the reception blatantly lies to you, couldn't change my fridge and move a fuse box after two and a half months, fitters failed to turn up for the job and it's one excuse after another, don't expect an update from the reception unless you're calling them, look elsewhere if you want the work done
