I just purchased a cover for my Kawasaki mule pro. It says on your website that your cover is guaranteed to fit. Well, my cover sags into bed liner. Rain collects there. It is pulled as tight as possible. Your response was to put a pole in bed. If I knew i would have to put a pole in bed to remove the sag, I would not have purchased item.

I sent the below message to CarCovers Factory and see the response below. Cost to replace a Lifetime warranty cover is $50.00 1/3 of the original price, and no info regarding this charge that I found on their website.

Disappointing to click on the link and find that the shipping and handling is 1/3 the cost of the cover when the original one was shipped for free. Your website should indicate this and not mislead the customer into thinking they have a lifetime warranty, especially on a product that hasn’t even lasted 10 months. I see from TrustPilot Pilot many others have experienced the same issue, so I will be reporting your company to the BBB and also going online to report my negative experience with your company. Sorry, I did not do my research before I purchased the cover. Your company should be ashamed of false advertising and selling defective products.

I bought a premium car cover with a lifetime warranty for my 1965 Ford Fairlane back in 2020. Sadly, it fell apart, tattered, and dissipated just five months later. They did replace it 100% thanks to the lifetime warranty, which was great at the time.

Now, in 2025, the cover is falling apart again. I called yesterday, and they confirmed I had the premium cover with a lifetime warranty and told me to email my order number and pictures. I did, but hours later, I got an email saying they couldn’t honor the warranty anymore. Instead, they offered me 10% off a new cover. When I called to ask why, they said the warranties from 2015 to 2020 expired in 2021 because they went with a new carrier, and they never notified me. So now, I’m out the money, but they’ll offer me up to 15% (she upped it to 15% when I called after getting the email) off a new cover. So frustrating! Buyer beware!

This site and it’s local country variants are straight up scams, the pose as selling high quality covers (7 layers, protection from rain, wind and sun) however they re cheaply made 2 layer products. An inner soft layer and a plastic type exterior. They initially hold up well however the exterior layer begins to degrade after 10 months or so of outdoor use - it leaves a fine plastic dust and then begins to rip. They have localised websites for many countries when in fact the based overseas (likely Chinese).I would not buy car covers from them again

Nothing wrong with delivery BUT!!!! I have 5 cars under covers & have had for some years so have experience. These say they are 7 layers but my NZ ones say 3 layers & seem thicker than this one, NZ has 2 vents in top this has none. under tie is sewn on one side NZ clips on either side. This $289 NZ $179. NZ is the very same material it appears to me so I am feeling ripped off by this purchase

I only put my cover on from May to October. My lifetime cover did not last 2 summers in only 6 hours of daily the sun. The free replacement cost $50 and then without forewarning they tack on another $7.95 for guaranteeing that it will get to me. Place is a con. I imagine the difference between a one season cover and a lifetime is the price and they charge you anyway when it fails.

Lifetime warranty means 2 or 3 replacements.
I purchased a cover and within a few months it tore at the hood ornament. They sent me a new cover for "$50 shipping and handling" and I doubled the bag of the same material it came in to place on the hood ornament as a pad and that bought be another few months. They refused to replace the 2nd cover but after a bit of back and forth they sent a new cover but it disintegrated after 6 months.

I purchased a defective car cover from Car Covers Factory in Stafford Texas from their website, carcoversfactory.com on April 4, 2021. I opened the box and put the cover on my car for the first time on June 24, 2024. I had purchased it three years prior, and kept it unopened in the original box. The cover was on my car for three days. It was parked outside, as I don't have a garage. When I removed the cover, the paint on my car was covered in white splotches. The paint job of the car was ruined. The splotches could not be removed. I contacted the company and requested their assistance, and got none.

Ultimately, I discovered that the damage to the paint resulted from the fleece lining that is supposed to protect the car from scratches (per their website). Instead, the outdoor heat melted the material in the fleece, and penetrated the clear coat of the car. I had three experts look at the damage, and all three agreed a new paint job was the only way to restore the paint. They tried a lot of options on a test section of the car and determined that the damage could not be buffed out (I would have been happy with a cheaper solution. I did NOT want to repaint the car).

The facts remain unrebutted and unrebuttable regarding the cause of the damage. They claim to offer a lifetime warranty, and multiple false representations appear on their website explicitly claiming, among other things, protection from extreme sun. One of their first questions was when I bought the cover from them, notwithstanding their lifetime guaranty.

The misrepresentations on their website were abundant, and false. Here are some of them:

"Best Car Covers For Extreme Sun" [The cover was exposed to the sun for three days before the fleece lining melted.]
“With our premium edition car cover, you have a 7-layer polypropylene cover that insulates the car beneath against extreme heat. It also offers exceptional UV protection, so the surface of your car is never exposed to that threat.”[Their the cover did not provide any insulation or protection. What it did do was melt, damaging the paint it was supposed to “protect.”]
“The cover is breathable, so humidity is not a problem, and it has a soft fleece lining to prevent scratching even if your paintwork does soften in the heat. With a guaranteed fit, you can rest assured no part of your vehicle will be left exposed.” [No mention of the fleece being unable to withstand direct sunlight].

[And worst of all]

“This cover comes with a lifetime warranty and we ship the same business day, free of charge. Enjoy exceptional sun protection even on the hottest, most intense sunny days." (emphasis added) [And watch your car paint be destroyed by the materials in their cover, while incurring $4000.00 to repaint the car plus another $50.00 per day for a rental car while the damage is being remediated].

It is beyond any reasonable dispute that their representations were both material and false, that their cover was defective, and that it damaged by car. Yet this so called company has made no effort to defend its cover, or to dispute any of the above when given the opportunity. Now, they simply stopped responding.

Before purchasing anything from this shady and deceptive operation, please tread very carefully and with caution. They do not honor their warranty, they do not offer a quality product, they do not show any concern about the damage their covers cause or how to stop that damage from happening, and they have not taken down their false and grossly misleading website. The Latin phrase Caveat Emptor applies here, let the buyer beware. If you are reading this, you can’t say you weren’t warned.

When you type in your year, make, and model you believe the cover you are getting is custom. IT IS NOT! I ordered one for my Can Am Spyder and basically it's just a huge bag. Not close to the one I need to replace. I've ordered a "REAL" custom cover from a different company and will use this one for maybe my zero turn mower. Do not buy from this company if you truly want a custom fit cover.

They also show a link with reviews and I can't even find where to do a review on their own site. That should have been a clue to stay away from this company.

I bought a cover to replace a California cover thats over 20 yrs old n this cover doesn't come close,its a 5 layer n nowhere do I see more then 2,the so called fleece lining is crap .....BE CAREFULL

Horrible… Car Cover does not fit , & thats after speaking with an online chat entity. They said we can offer you a 30 $ discount. OR you can send it back as long as its in the original packaging & re-sellable. Are You Joking ?? Bad Company…BUY ANYWHERE ... BUT NOT HERE !! CARCOVERSFACTORY.COM IS HORRIBLE. YOU WERE WARNED !!! On a side note : PAYPAL has been Zero Help. Rethink them too !

Didn't even last the month, the car cover has peeled absolutely everywhere and not even remotely worth the price. Don't buy from this company.

Ordered a premium cover online, paid, then received an email asking to pay an additional $60 as they were 'out of stock in NZ' and the cover would need to be shipped from the US. The website boasts free shipping so this came as a surprise. Called the local support number which re-routed to a foreign call centre and eventually spoke to a 'manager' who confirmed that I could either pay up or get a refund. So, they are an offshore company masquerading as a local business thinking it's ok to rip us off, and crossing legal boundaries in the process. Stay away, not worth the hassle. Hopefully I get my refund as promised, but not holding my breath.

I purchased a car cover from them that was according to them correct for my car. It is too big. When it is windy it blows off onto the ground and then needs to be very thoroughly cleaned to avoid it scratching the car paintwork if I put it back on the car. Their solution is that I need to purchase more straps for the cover that they do not actually sell and connect it to the cover by which I would have to make holes in the cover and therefore weaken it. Please avoid this company.
