I was very worried reading the reviews
I was very worried reading the poor reviews here - I postponed the purchase like 2 weeks because of that. The problem is that I couldn't find anywhere else the exact boxes dimensions I needed - apart from the cardboardboxes.co.uk
I took the risk and ordered the three boxes I needed. Around £80 in total. I paid with PayPal using a credit card - as I was worried ( you can always get your money back easily, if you have used a credit card plus PayPal offers some protection :-)
I paid the extra £10 for next day delivery - mainly because of the negative reviews.
Order placed and now waiting....
They do not even send an email, to aknowldege the order. This was a bad sign. I printed as PDF the final page with my order number. It was the only proof I had.
Next day, around noon, Yodel on the door. Boxes have arrived. Very nicely packed. All as expected.
Do not use this company
Do not use this company! I made a £250 order on 11th September. Despite company saying they had sent boxes, they did not arrive and they could not give any information. When they finally admitted that the boxes had not been sent and agreed a refund, it was 10.10. It is now December and I am still waiting for the refund. They don't give any advice or help over the phone but just tell customers to email. The emails go months without any reply and if they do reply it is dishonest.
They don't deliver, they don't refund...
They know why and my advice is, you just avoid them!

I would give a zero if I could. I cancel my order within hours on a Saturday as I had placed it by mistake. The item cost £3.50 plus £8.50 for delivery. They told me they could cancel it as it hadn't been dispatched but that they would charge me £10 for the inconvenience. Do I need to add anything else? Stay away from these people. Now they are saying that individuals are exempt but at no point in the process I was told that. This information was provided after leaving the review. I would be happy to edit this review if I can get a refund. My orden nr is 86882 and of course I'm an individual, I had ordered ONE box, how could you assume I was a business and intending to charge me £10 for

Only partial order sent almost 3 months late!
We ordered a large number of boxes for a very specific commercial service we were providing based on a short season. We were told 2 week delivery and they missed that date straight away. After many emails and phone calls, we finally received a partial order after 12 weeks, to late for the season for which they had been ordered. Total waste of money. Now refusing to refund us for the items they didn't bother to send. Utterly disgraceful.
Awful company
Ordered a small quantity of wreath boxes to send to Canada in the 24th of Nov 2023 and still have not received them.
Spoke to company on Tuesday 5th of Dec promised I would receive by Thursday 7th
No delivery received
Rang again to be told Sat/Mon
No use to me now whatsoever.
Asked for refund told me to email them.
I now wished I had checked this company before purchasing

Claimed to have sent my order but the courier hadn’t even received it. I asked the company to cancel my order and I replaced by ordering from another company. Almost 3 weeks later and they’ve sent my order, even though id cancelled / replaced and the only response they could find was to send me a link to their returns policy. They now want me to cover the cost of the return and incur a 20% restocking fee. Being a small business I rely on good service and for companies to stick to their delivery timescales or at the very least, be honest when questioned about any delays. This company instead decided to lie, ignore me and waste my time and money, which when running a very small business I can’t afford to do.

Had two orders and the first one never showed up until it was chased and then was received the next day. Tried using them again and once again didn't receive for two weeks (after chasing) - no number to call either and no responses to emails. Then received the order with 80 boxes missing. Won't be using again

Having only just read these reviews, I'm quite surprised about such a bad overall rating.
I had a strange gut feeling as the website isn't the most consumer friendly, but my TV removal box arrived within 5 working days, really thick and good quality, although the package only comes with less than 1m of bubble wrap (says 500mm on the website, I thought it said 500cm, so my fault), which is hardly enough for wrapping a 55" TV.
I emailed them as I didn't receive a tracking number when my order was processed, and they got back to me the morning after, so can't complain about their customer services either.

Sending USED ASDA boxes, without telling!
Ok, now it is my time to write a review - on positive note - order came within 5 working days, THANKS GOD as my move fully depends on them, on the negative side - I received SECOND HAND ASDA BOXES in a very poor condition, boxes falling apart - they have been used and the quality is not there. I could have get to ASDA and get it myself for free. I received 10 small new boxes new, 1 roll of tabe plus was promised packing material, which came in as 1-2 meters of it in USED CONDITION (ordered x 5M roll of bubble wrap (500mm width)) and 10 big used ASDA boxes, paid £33 for it, I guess that is how people make money - sell things they get for free! Outrageous! It has never been said I would get used boxes and this is very dissapointing! Would not recommend using this company again!

The company haven't contacted me even though they asked Trust Pilot for my details to resolve the issue following a previous review. Details provided and not heard from them. A reasonable time has passed so I am taking this to the ombudsman. Will provide updates.

I have ordered my boxes on the 27th of September and received them on the 4th of October.
I was worried only because I couldn't track where is my order. Otherwise I'm happy 😊
Do not order from this company
I ordered a pack of ten boxes in March which duly arrived. No problem so far. Wanting to order more of the same size and being unable to find them on the website I emailed for help. I had a reply giving me the weblink to find them again. I placed my order on 5th September, which arrived on the 9th. Not needing the new boxes immediately, I did not open the package until a few days ago to discover that the boxes are a totally different size. I emailed the company who replied:
“We are very sorry to hear that you have a problem with your order. We do attempt to rectify any problems where possible. Please could you kindly clarify the following information to enable me to investigate this matter further: Your order number. Date items received. Description of Item/s expected & Item/s received. Supporting photographs would be helpful. We look forward to hearing from you”.
I replied with all the requested information, to get minutes later:
“We are very sorry to hear that you have a problem with your order number 83462 We do attempt to rectify any problem wherever possible .However, we do expect parcels to be checked upon receipt & for us to be advised of any shortages within 3 days as stated on our Despatch Note which accompanies your delivery (please also refer to our Terms & Conditions) and so we are unable to progress your query in this instance.”

Placed an order with this company on 12/9/23 - then I read the reviews - I know I should have done this before ordering but lesson learned!
After reading the horrendous reviews I immediately cancelled my order using the email provided on their website and requested a refund minus the £10 administration fee - which is pure extortion! I received an email on 18/9/23 saying my refund was being processed and would be with me shortly. It is now 2/10/23 and I still haven’t received my refund. I have sent 3 further emails with no response. Do not touch this company with a barge pole!

Charged and Boxes never arrived
Boxes never arrived, rude staff, probably the worst customer service I have ever received. I was charged £100 and still haven't got my money back.
Slow Customer Service, Good Quality, Received On Time.
We ordered some custom size boxes along with some bubble wrap and tape for our company.
The sales team seems to be run by one person so replies were often slow, or we'd have to send follow up emails after a few days of not getting a reply. I did ring up one time and spoke to someone who said he would chase the sales rep for us. In the end we managed to place our order on 11/09/2023 and we made payment. I asked for an estimated date we would receive our order and was given 22/09/2023.
A couple of days after making payment I came across their TrustPilot reviews and on reading the masses of negative reviews, I panicked a little. I didn't receive any order dispatch confirmation email and didn't receive any tracking numbers, which many mentioned, so I feared the worst.
To my surprise, I received my order yesterday 20/09/2023 which is 10 days after placing my order, and 2 days before the estimated date. I did receive a notification from DPD and Yodel (the order was sent half with one courier and the other half with another for some reason) on the day of delivery to let me know it would be delivered that day and the timeslot. Nothing before this though, so I was worried it hadn't been dispatched.
I checked the order thoroughly, after again reading reviews that mentioned poor quality. Everything we ordered was included. Some of the custom size boxes we ordered were cut a little rough but nothing too dramatic and nothing that would affect their use. I measured the inside dimensions of a few boxes and all were correct.
Overall, we are happy with what we have received, and other than the slower than expected customer service, we feel we received a good service. We would definitely use this company again. Hopefully this is the start of a new and improved service.
Feedback for improvement:
- Provide confirmation of order dispatch via email along with a tracking number and estimated delivery date. (This would relieve a lot of anxiety and likely reduce inbound contact for updates)
- Either increase the number of sales reps to answer questions and assist with customer order enquiries, or create a more organised ticket based system with clear timescales such as "Please allow 48 hours for a reply". (This would relive pressure on the sales rep and also reduce inbound contact that just adds to the number of emails/messages the sales rep needs to deal with)

We were moving house, so obviously needed some boxes. We placed our order and were advised we would receive a dispatch email. Side note - that email never came! The day we were moving, I emailed cardboardboxes to cancel the order, since we didn’t need them anymore. They informed me that wasn’t possible since my order had been dispatched. After trying to communicate over email multiple times that we don’t live at the delivery address anymore, we didn’t need to the boxes and we wouldn’t be there to accept them and return them once they did arrive. For some reason, the person(s) I was dealing with didn’t understand this and continued to tell me that I could return the boxes for a refund. This went on for MONTHS!! Backward and forward emails and getting absolutely nowhere. I was constantly provided with a link to their policy, even though the order was never once in my possession. Finally, they were delivered and the delivery driver called and asked what was going on - clearly the new homeowners didn’t accept the delivery. I explained and they advised they would return to the sender. After this, I continued to email and even called a couple of times to request a refund. I was told that a refund couldn’t be processed until they had received the order back. How this was my problem, I have no idea! Finally, I was told I would be refunded. That was 3 WEEKS AGO! I called again today and asked to speak with their accounts department, since all the emails we had exchanged during that 3 week period were telling me that my refund was with the accounts department. I was told that they have one woman and she works part time. Conveniently she wasn’t working today so I couldn’t speak with her directly. I also wasn’t able to email her since her email is apparently a personal one. Well, I finally received a partial refund today and even though I have never once seen the goods, I was still charged their ridiculous admin fee!
The moral of this story is AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! You will be out of pocket and frustrated as hell from dealing with a bunch of scam artists!

I have now had a refund of £21. It would appear that they have charged me for the full P&P even though they only ever sent me half my order.
They do not respond to my e-mails any more.

So, rather than dealing with customer complaints the company are spending time monitoring trustpilot reviews.......all for £25.
On 23 August they promised me a refund.
On 9 September I asked where it was and was told that it was with their accounts team.
It is now 14 September and I still have not seen any refund.

On 16 July I ordered one of the assorted box sets for packing to move house.
Only part of the order arrived and what did arrive wasn't what had been ordered, but since I wanted a variety of box sizes this did not worry me too much.
I have been e-mailing and calling ever since.
I was initially promised that they would despatch the remaining part of the order. This did not arrive.
I was then promised a refund for the part that was missing. This has never materialised.
I have now raised this with Visa to see if they can get anywhere.

It’s been several days since my last review and after a message saying they are processing my refund I have still yet to receive this. How difficult can it be…..
This is an awful company who have no morals whatsoever, not only am I trying to deal with cancer I now have another battle trying to get my money back for a product I didn’t open and returned straight away.
I would advise anybody to definitely go elsewhere. This is a company who will take your money and not deliver your expectations.
