First of all went to get on bus went to pay the guy said its not working and told me to sit down the guy kept breaking and swerving, usually my bus ticket is £1.40 later on that day I checked My card and the guy took out £3.60

On a rugby match day that’s in the sporting calendar years ahead.
Huge queues after the game. Why not put extra buses on?
Because Cardiff bus are totally INCOMPETENT!
But the boss is likely on six figure salary.

Dreadful service. Buses filthy, they are rarely on time and often cancelled. Very expensive too. Says a lot about the competence of Cardiff Council when they cannot even run a decent bus service. They are incompetent and couldn't care about local people. How do they ever get elected!!!.

Cardiff bus is one of the worst bus company I’ve ever experienced. They are never one time, bus cancel often for no reason and sometimes more than 3 same buses number cancelled at the same time, waiting for Almost or more than an hour, conduct you to be very late for work. Some drivers are so rude, mean, impolite, impatient they ignore you, refuse to open the door and they just drive away, or don’t even stop when they see you at the bus stop, they are not happy to give you information or direction. Some bus can stop twice in the middle of the route, stop for more than 6min to change driver or just break or for nothing.

Cardiff Bus is a combination of bad management, expensive ticket prices and worst customer service. The bus should free for everyone due to this careless and bad service.

Awful company awful service. Buses are always filthy and smell horrendous. Not cleaned properly and this is quite obvious. A boy vomited all over one of the buses and it continued to run its route with vomiting rolling up and down the walkway. Some of the bus drivers are very nice but some are abusive. Buses cancelled without warning, never running on time. Absolutely terrible service. Worst bus service in the UK. The only reason it’s still going the way it is is because a dodgy Cardiff councillor has personal financial interest in the company. You can look this information up freely online. Truly a disgrace to Cardiff.

Came back to edit this, company is run by fools. All this money for new buses, but the service has worsened and the prices have risen. Thank you Cardiff bus for blessing this city

Waiting at the new central station for no 27 due in 5 mins. Doesn't arrive so member of staff kindly checks and says on its way, 2 mins late. Of course it is actually cancelled and next one is 30 mins,assuming it is not also cancelled.

Unfortunately a regular example of the service and more importantly the useless app. What is the point in an app showing live times when they are so often wrong. Worse than useless as you base decisions on them.

When the bus runs it's a great service, helpful drivers, good quality buses.

Awful service, letting passengers down time and again by taking vehicles off service which are shown as live on the App.
An embarrassment for the City of Cardiff. Services rarely on time, thankfully am not reliant on Cardiff bus every day as have been let down on numerous occasions this year trying to get to social engagements and sporting events.
Utterly hopeless.

What a load of crap, waiting for llanedryn bus on Albany road is a joke, there's about 59 people waiting I ain't seen one bus in. Over an HR this is why I use a car. Never get the bus in Cardiff

8/12/24 arrived at stop @ 2.00pm and waited for the 27 @Heol Hir due 2.14pm. A 27 arrived @ 2.10pm but was "Set down only" (as it was late) and let the only passenger off. The gent behind myself and my wife told the driver that the next 27 HAD NOT LEFT TOWN but he would not let us (five in total) on as he was not allowed to !!! What IDIOT on control at that time told the driver to be set down only when the next bus was not anywhere near? We finally got a 27 at 2.50pm (40 minutes later) and arrived at Cardiff Castle at 3.30pm AN HOUR AND A HALF AFTER REACHING THE STOP !!! Apparently the drivers are NOT ALLOWED to contact control and query if they could take on passengers in circumstances such as this !!! Bone headed stupidity and a total disregard for passengers by Cardiff by controllers who clearly have no idea how much their stupidity affects passengers. Apparently the previous 27 was late as was the one before that. Even so, the (late) bus we could not get was four minutes earlier than the next 27 that was due which was at 2.14pm. Surely they could have ensured it waited at the bottom of Excaliber Drive for four minutes until it was the time tabled time for the next bus and it would then have been a number 27 on time and rectified the situation, but NO ....bone head idiocy rules !!! WHAT A SHAMBLES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would Cardiff bus state on there website that there's a temporary bus stop, not mark it on the road, and then use the original bus stop? Just waited 30 mins for a bus that should be running every 10 minutes. Ridiculously late and app is unhelpful. Not the first time this has happened.

Spent 50 minutes in Fairwater stop waiting for my 61 bus, the bus just drove past my stop to put a cherry on top, just took a taxi instead.

Route 63 driver decided to change route yesterday evening. The driver decided to travel up Heol Isaf through Radyr returning to town and ignored all the stops on the housing estate in Radyr when he should have turned up Bryn Derwen.
Made us late for reunion meal in Llandaff.
Use public transport - what a joke!!!
According to many bus users this has happened frequently in the past. Please don't make up your own routes!!!

three buses are all coming within minutes of eachother. how does that even work

Service 57/58, most unreliable service ever, had to wait on the cold for an hour plus with my baby because they bus drivers wouldn’t let us in even though there was only one pram on all occasions. More than 4 bus passed and 2 others were cancelled. My baby got really sick from the cold.

The most unreliable evening bus service of any city I have ever visited. Scheduled buses never turn up (they are not running late, they just don’t turn up at all). Don’t bother with a return ticket, because you’ll not have a chance to use it. Amateurs.

Bus driver wouldn't let me on even tho there was seats.time 1343 on llanedeyrn Rd number 57. I'd like a reply from cardiff bus and can supply photos.disgusting
