This about the Cards Galore shop in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush, near to the Southern Terrace, and the impressive service I received from the young shop assistant, on my receipt her number appears to be R00100032. Transaction was 17h52 on Tuesday 22/02/22. I would really like this review to be fed back to the lady who served me. She was the only one in the shop. I rushed in en route to catch a train, looking for a Bon voyage card for my niece who is going to Australia on a gap year extended trip. I was at the relevant section and the assistant came up with a friedly smile and asked if she could help. Already a little special in that small environment. I explained, and that what I’d seen was not right. She showed a couple more I’d not seen behind, also not right. She took me to some smaller cards but they weren’t right either. However they were nice and this assistant was so helpful I was nevertheless motivated to buy 9 of those little cards for “stock”. She left me and I then looked for a big Mothering Sunday card (I had already bought one elsewhere) but I was feeling almost inspired by this positive experience. I found a £10 one that was right. I was heading to the counter when the shop assistant returned and said “I’ve found one!”. It was exactly right. She had listened to me, actually heard what my needs were, made the effort to go and look further. I would have been really pleased even if she hadn’t found a perfect card, she was so professional and, even in that tiny space, went the extra mile without being asked. She really deserves recognition for this, as I have no doubt that she has the same approach with most customers. What could have been a no sale or a small £3 sale if I’d found a card by myself, turned into a £28.18 sale. And 3 days later when I’ve had time I was that impressed that I have written this review. Congratulations!
