NO CUSTOMER CARE toilet…
I ordered an adjustable portable toilet frame from CareCo which was delivered on 18 December 2024. I tried it in my lounge (nowhere near my toilet) & it didn’t feel sturdy enough. As there was no contact telephone number on the invoice & because of the festive holiday period I sent CareCo an email requesting a return number to return this item. Despite numerous emails & supposed telephone calls (which I did not receive) since then I have been advised by CareCo that I cannot return the item or receive a refund because I should have contacted their customer services department on 4th January 2025 (one day earlier than I did) I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing anything from CareCo to give them a miss. Their after sales service is atrocious & their customer care offers no care whatsoever.
I have since had a telephone call from Matthew @ CareCo & he has apologised for the service I received. He also sent me details to enable me to return the unsuitable item. I have today received the refund in my Bank Account. Thank goodness for Matthew because the other Customer Care staff were totally dismissive of my concerns.

Rolls Royce of Rollators! …
I had the Evo Suspension Walker bought as a Christmas gift - I had hinted heavily that I’d really like one! It’s fantastic! I had a basic rollator for about 5 years, with no suspension and small wheels, it was jarring on your joints and noisy and wouldn’t easily go over the slightest rough ground. I have a spinal problem that means I can’t walk very far at all even with a rollator but this new Evo Suspension Walker is 100 percent better than my old one, the suspension and bigger wheels are fantastic! Its so much smoother and quieter and tackles uneven surfaces so much better, it actually allows me to go that little bit further ( which isn’t very far at all really) which is so satisfying and I believe is good for you both physically and mentally, before I need a sit down and it’s so comfortable with good back support. It really is the Rolls Royce of Rollators, it’s so nice too to have one that looks modern. ……… I have the purple one which is really jazzy looking! You can never make a mobility aid look anything other than it is but you can try and make it more modern in design and colour and this really is! If there is a downside it is that it is a little heavier to handle for my husband but that is made up for by the fact it is so much more stable, comfortable, smoother and quieter.

Refused refund…
I purchesed a lumbar cushion on 26th November to give to my 93 year old aunt for Christmas. On opening we tried it in her chair and realised it wasn’t right for her. We repackaged directly and I tried to return it today along with invoice and receipt wher I was point blank refused a refund. Very dissapointed with the customer service. Beware

Although the company did not phone to say they were coming, the delivery drivers were very polite and helpful. The company phoned me to apologise for their error and offer compensation. I am now very happy to update my review to satisfied.

Faith Restored
I have purchased products including wheelchairs from CareCo since 2021. In 2023 I upgraded to an electric wheelchair and purchased a proLite Alluvium. Unfortunately I had an issue with this chair and CareCo replaced it free of charge. I’d like to thank Mr Harrison for sorting this out and Mr Parker for arranging collection of defective wheelchair and replacement of a new one. I have to admit I was upset by the stress this caused initially but quite honestly, my faith in CareCo has been restored and I would certainly continue to purchase from you.
It’s been great regaining my independence and being able to enjoy the great outdoors.

Exceptional customer service
I called Careco for some advice on weight capacity on a riser recliner. Rob, the customer care person who answered my call checked the weight limit thoroughly for me- speaking to internal product specialists. He was patient and kind and thorough and totally put my mind at rest. Exceptional customer service at a difficult time for our family. Thank you Rob!

Having never had the need to visit a mobility shop we found Lisa in the Peterborough careco showroom to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
We found about all bathing aids and bought a bath lift and glide seat.

Full Marks for Customer Service
We ordered a Riser Recliner and experienced a few initial problems. However, once this was identified every effort was made to correct things. I was given a personal contact in senior management and all the promises made were delivered on time to our satisfaction. A good example of what Customer Service should be.

We purchased a walker, but unfortunately it became 'wobbly' and we were concerned that Dad wasn't safe using it. We sent it back and was told it wasn't repairable - then Matt at customer services got involved. Dont always get it all right, but work hard to fix it!
Quite a bit of toing and froing, added to some misunderstanding, and led to quite a mix up, but when Careco realise a customer is NOT happy, they go to great lengths to put it right. One of few companies whose bosses DO care, they will always be my "go-to" company.

My disabled dad bought a mobility…
My disabled dad bought a mobility scooter in January
He has returned it 3 times and the problem has still not been fixed but has actually got worse
I have contacted customer services by email to be told they will look into it and when chased ask me the same details again then say they will get back to me asap
I am still waiting for a response one week later

Awful, don't bother, Bought a wheelchair and the brake fell off after just one day. They wouldn't send anyone to fix it and I have to send it back at my ownexpense. Itsnot a fashion accessory it's my way of getting around

not a good company
I have just have had an engineer out to repair my Cromwell chair. He was supposed to bring a new mechanism to fit it. The size was 56/7 inches but the new one was only 54 inches. This is the second time this has happened. Care Co is supposed to be one of the best suppliers in the country but in my opinion it is the worst. When you call up the operators are very friendly & helpful & they make you feel that you are important to them but the background staff are less than considerate when it comes to making sure that a disabled person such as myself is able to get around in a safe manner. I would not recommend this company at ll
