Carla Gebhard Designs Reviews

Carla created a personalised print for us which is beautiful. She is a lovely person and this purchase showed her to be very talented, efficient with excellent communication throughout. Thank you, Carla.

My daughter gave me a surprise birthday present- an afternoon painting with watercolours. It was so lovely to learn new techniques under the guidance of Carla who is very warm and encouraging. We came away with some really nice pictures and I framed them straight away. They look beautiful .. and above all.. I had time spent with m lovely daughter, including a piece of cake.

I attended Carla’s watercolour workshop at the weekend with my daughter. It was a Christmas gift.
We both enjoyed Carla’s gentle, encouraging teaching style, demonstrating and explaining brush and paint techniques. The morning flew by and we couldn’t believe the gorgeous paintings we managed to produce with her guidance.
Carla is absolutely delightful, it was a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend her course, can’t wait to visit again. Thank you ☺️

What a lovely relaxing and mindful way to spend a morning! Carla has a great natural teaching style and her mum was also really hands on and helpful!
I’d gone as a beginner and had no idea what to expect but absolutely loved the session and would definitely recommend it. Carla is very encouraging and positive and the time flew by.
Looking forward to attending another workshop with Carla in the near future!

I had a wonderful 1st watercolour workshop at Beetham Nurseries with Carla and her lovely mother this week.

I felt very welcome from the moment I stepped into the marquee which is a huge plus for me as I attended on my own

The class was fantastic, learned more than I would have expected in 3 hours
I would highly recommend and will definitely attend another workshop in the future

Carla is so lovely and calm natured! She is so positive with feedback and finds something lovely to say and then ever so gently suggests something you could try to improve what you have created. We absolutely loved our morning painting! Carla created such a calm and pleasant environment to paint in that it felt more like you were having a morning round at a friends doing something you all enjoy. She gave clear instruction and plenty of time to paint. I have definitely developed my watercolour painting from the session. Thank you so much!

Carla is a very talented watercolour artist and her work is fabulous. My personalised print arrived very promptly and very well packaged.

Thank you, Carla for such a lovely afternoon painting with you. We felt so comfortable in your studio even though we were real beginners. That is down to your calm manner and the ease with which we understood your tuition. We loved your studio and artwork and ...you! We recommend to one and all!

Delightful workshop - I booked the watercolour workshop as a gift experience. Carla was great, the workshop was really enjoyable and the studio which is where the workshop takes place is beautiful!

Had such a lovely workshop by Carla with my mum for an early Mother’s Day gift. It was so therapeutic, great to step through with a demonstration first and advice on brushstrokes and water techniques.

Carla is so lovely, we enjoyed chatting away in between the demonstration's. We were kindly brought refreshments from the Apple Store Cafe and could hear the birds tweeting away in addition to the relaxing/ nostalgic music being played. A perfect way to spend the weekend, would definitely recommend.

My daughter gave me this workshop gift for Christmas.
I came as a beginner as I have never done watercolour painting before.
I can't thank Carla enough, for the wonderful experience. She was so patient at demonstrating and explaining every detail. The time flew by so quick, ( as it does when you are enjoying yourself) I could have gone on all day painting things that i never thought i would, or could. I thoroughly recommend attending this workshop. & thank you, to Carla, and to my daughter for a most wonderful gift.

We throughly enjoyed our watercolour workshop with Carla. She explained techniques very clearly and we had great fun testing those techniques out! Carla is an absolutely lovely person and I would highly recommend her watercolour course.

A wonderful experience and introduction to water colours it really was .. thankyou so much Carla for such an enjoyable experience I can recommend to anyone 😊

My husband treated us to Carla's Watercolour Workshop for Beginners as a Valentine Present. It was a great environment to work in and Carla has such a lovely teaching style. She is gentle and encouraging but also able to give clear guidance in how to start using watercolours. I have struggled to use paints for many years and came away having more clarity and confidence in using them. Highly recommended.

My friend and I attended a watercolour workshop with Carla recently. Carla was lovely and explained everything really well. We really enjoyed it and now see painting with watercolours as a new and enjoyable hobby.

A lovely business to use online, a great website which is easy to use and with a delightful range of prints to chose from. The gift chosen is beautifully presented and received with speed.

Carla is a lovely teacher and host. I was made to feel very welcome and the whole experience was great from start to finish. I enjoyed the opportunity to explore and develop new skills and techniques. I liked that I had some finished pieces to take away and it made me want to try to develop this as a hobby.

My friend and I had a wonderful afternoon with Carla at her workshop. She gave me confidence with my painting, which I’ve been trying to get back for a while.
The workshop was a lovely experience I would highly recommend.

What a lovely time my wife and I had learning to use water colours with Carla. She was so helpful, friendly, patient and encouraging as we tried to copy her techniques. After two hours, which flew by, thanks to Carla's help we were able to produce some paintings that could be termed passable!! Really recommend the experience.

Easy to deal with and kept up to date . Beautiful pictures x
