Very bad service
I had booked and confirmed a fare ($69.50) to go from the Chelsea area of NY to the Newark airport. Got there (after having risked an accident because the driver was distracted) I had to pay $92 PLUS TIP!
When it should have been all inclusive.
And he didn't want me to pay by credit card!
Then I received the receipt for only $69.50 via email.
Bad service.
I advise against it.
Very very upset. I'm working bad reviews about them everywhere, hoping to help other people to avoid the same misadventure.

Prenotata e pagata in anticipo per andare da Newark a Manhattan il 30/7/23 (2 adulti e 2 bambini) ma l’autista non si è presentato nel luogo dell’appuntamento. È stato contattato una prima volta in cui ha detto che dove stavamo aspettando era chiuso (peccato che era pieno di macchine e taxi). Ci ha detto di andare in un altro posto ma non c’era nemmeno li. Poi lo abbiamo chiamato al telefono molte volte ma non ci ha più risposto. Ai numeri del sito non rispondeva nessuno. La mattina dall’Italia avevo mandato una mail per avvisare che il volo era in ritardo (anche se loro lo sanno già perché al momento della prenotazione bisogna mettere il numero del volo) ma non mi hanno mai risposto.Dopo un’ora di attesa siamo stati costretti a prendere un taxi giallo che abbiamo pagato molto di più. Complimenti per il servizio! Hanno emesso un rimborso dopo 15 giorni e numerose telefonate ma è nettamente inferiore alla quota pagata in anticipo.

The absolute worst! We had an SUV booked and they sent us a mini van. The van was extremely dirty. Then the driver demanded a big tip which is highly unprofessional.

Car arrived ahead of time was extremely comfortable and clean, driver pleasant, The price was better than other car services in NYC. I also had a coupon so I saved another $3. I had to reserve using the phone though. I had a problem with their website

Picked up in a filthy, old car with torn upholstery and broken air conditioning. I will never, ever use this company again. I can’t believe these people are in business. Gross.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My driver was an hour and a half late picking us up from the airport to take is to our resort. Also, I was supposed to be picked up in a luxury vehicle, but was picked up in a shuttle van instead. My transfer back to the airport was late as well and the driver argued and yelled at me when I called to see his whereabouts after my pickup time had already passed. When the driver finally arrived to the resort, he was blasting vulgar and profane music. What kind of service is this??? Ridiculous!! He was also speeding. I have contacted Customer Service concerning these issue and this complaint with no resolution or call back. This is the worst transfer company I have ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.
Safe reliable clean transport
I got into JFK yesterday afternoon from oversea it was a rainy day. I went to the transportation desk and got a car ordered up. It appeared within 7 minutes, as promised. The driver was nice and effective and got me where I needed to go. The car was spotless. The price was reasonable, far more reasonable then any of the possible competitors. Carmel is my "go-to" to get to and from NYC airports.
This is my review but I am awarded $10 Car cash from Carmel for sharing it. I would have given this review anyway.

La mia esperienza è stata molto positiva. Puntualissimo sia all’andata che al ritorno. L’ho utilizzato da Jfk a Manhattan e al ritorno. Fissati da mesi prima, puntuali e precisi. Al costo che vedete pubblicizzato ricordatevi di aggiungere tasse e mance (mediamente un +25%).
A mess
A mess. Car was late. It happens. But I called customer service and was told 5 minutes a few times. I'm tired of talking to some outsourced rep who is clueless. Then I'm charged 2x. This had happened before. Oh and car was gross. Banged up. Smelly and dirty. Lastly when I did reach someone in NYC office I was hung up on. Peter thanks. I was a regular. No more.
Unsatisfied customer
On March 10, 2023 I ordered a stretched white limousine for my granddaughter's sweet 16th birthday for March 11, 2023. Later that day, on the 10th, I realized they had the wrong address on the receipt therefore I called to correct it. On the 11th, a couple of hours before her party I was informed there wasn't any limos, making it impossible for me to make any other arrangements. Besides the fact they could've told me that when I called to make the correction the day before; the customer service representative, a female, who called to tell me there wasn't any limousines was extremely rude and unprofessional.

I booked and paid them 230$ to pick up my family of 4 and take us from LAX to our hotel at Universal city and then pick us up from our hotel and take us back to the airport. Our flight lands and my phone rings saying he is here. I told him we needed to pick up our bags at the terminal and we would be out. We pick up our bags and head outside to find our car. I call because there is no blue SUV like he describes. I call and JJ picks up and says he is outside by valet parking. I ask him where he is at and he says the hotel. I then explained that we are at the airport. He says he was given the wrong paperwork and asks if we still want him to come pick us up. I say yeah because we have no other transportation and we paid them already. He hangs up irritated that he has to drive to the airport and it's gonna take 45 min to get there. I call Carmel and they said they would send someone out and they would be there in 30 min. An hour and twenty minutes after we land we get picked up and taken to our hotel.
Our pick up was just as bad! We were scheduled for pick up at 1:15. I call at 11am and ask if they can pick us up sooner and get told no, they can't do anything before 1:15. At 1:15 I haven't heard from our driver or the company so again I call. Sure enough our driver went to the airport instead of our hotel to pick us up. Again they ask if we still want them to come and again I give them the same answer, yes I have already paid you. They picked us up at 2:12 an hour later then scheduled and we had an hour drive to LAX. We arrived at the airport at 3:15 flew through the airport and barely made our flight that had already begun to board. But hey Carmel made sure we paid an additional 22$ for tolls they hit trying to get us to the airport. I have called and complained and have gotten no response about any kind of partial credit. All they say is that my trip is over and someone from the California location now has to look into it and see if they can authorize any kind of credit.

The driver arrived earlier than expected so that we has enough time to put our luggage. He explained the toll fare.
Charging upfront and driver leaving after speaking with him
Living in NYC and traveling frequently for both business and leisure, I used to be a regular but I am shocked by the service degradation. Last one, called 10 minutes after pick up time to inform us they didn’t have a driver for our airport transfer. Today, after not receiving the usual notification of driver’s arrival (first image attached) driver called and I literally said “hi, would you wait for 10 minutes please? I’ll take care of you”. “Yes just call when you’re ready”. Went downstairs ten minutes later, looked for him and when I checked the app the job had been cancelled. Called customer service, transferred back and forth to 2 different dispatchers and eventually was informed they didn’t have a replacement car but would be charging for the service. Understood, Carmel, good luck but beware - competition is good and professional out there.

If you want a service that does NOT show up and cancels on you at the time of arrival! then book this service!!!!!!!! I called 3 times before my client arrived and reconfirmed. I asked is it 100% that the driver would arrive and they said Yes! Then they send an email 10 minutes after flight landed! cancelling the service. Worst company ever!

Absolutely horrendous experience and complete and total lack of customer service. Despite having reserved a car more than 24 hours in advance, on the day of the trip, December 23rd, I received a notification and call that first my car would be a half hour, followed shortly by them just canceling the trip with no notice. This is the second time they’ve done this, the last time was for a pick up at JFK but I mistakenly wrote it off as a one time experience.
When I spoke to dispatch after several calls, they advised that they had no cars available in the entire city, and that I should find another mode of transportation before hanging up on me. The day before Christmas Eve is not the day to be forced to find an alternative transportation. Clearly, their “reservation” system is meaningless. Do not use them if you actually expect a car to pick you up.
