I ordered my bike over two months ago
I ordered my bike over two months ago. I took a day off work to take delivery, but it never showed up and when I called they told me they weren’t delivering it because it was broken and they had to get replacement parts which they did. Then I had a difficulty trying to get it delivered at a time that would work with my schedule, but the person from Carol did intervene and make that possible When they delivered the bike it was missing several screws that attach the handlebar to the frame and the bike had to be taken back again. I am still waiting on Delivery of the bike. Jim from Carol has been very nice and tried to help the best he can but obviously this is not what someone would expect when ordering a piece of very expensive exercise equipment.

Great customer service!
When I received my Carol bike, the handlebar upright was welded on crooked. I contacted Carol, and they responded right away. They scheduled a new part to be delivered and set up a tech to come replace it. They were very apologetic and quick to fix the problem. While I have only used my bike a handful of times, I am really liking it so far and look forward to tracking my VO2 max over time.

You're absolutely correct—CAROL Bike workouts are so short and effective, it's easy to form a fitness habit that sticks. In fact, riders achieve an average of 3.2 rides a week in their first 100 days. Providing them with significant cardiovascular and health benefits.
Good bike but with limited software and you have to find your own way
The bike is nice but the app does not tell you much or give you any guidance. I am discovering features by chance. I would think that this product for the price and subscription would be more robust and intuitive.

Tom, sorry to hear this. We appreciate the bike app has many features and dashboards, which provides excellent variety for our riders. Because of this, we have information ('i') icons on each workout and metric which provides further details about them. We would also recommend you book a free consultation with our fitness advisor who can talk you through all the features in a one-to-one call. You should have received emails about this prior to your bike's arrival, along with emails detailing our bike features.
I will ask a member of our support team to contact you to ensure you are up to date with all our features.
Bike good, service lousy
They send you emails asking for your opinion how you like the bike and if you need help, but they don't respond to help requests. The bike itself is great, the subscription is a major downer, and the heart rate monitor that comes with the bike is a piece of junk. It connects and disconnects at random and it is therefore almost impossible to get a fitness score.

Best decision
Super happy that we made the decision to purchase the Carol bike. We are NZ based and still the delivery was quick and smooth. Customer service communicated with us all the way through from thinking about buying the bike to setting it up with us. I am super impressed with Carol’s lovely and quick customer service and am super stoked about the bike too!

Love the bike
Love the bike. Even on a busy day I can convince myself to take 10 minutes out to do a workout. I feel the positive impact on my resilience.
It's evident that Carol Bike has created a company culture that aspires to excellence at all levels of the organization, from bike design and continuing improvements to customer service.

Installation was straight forward
Installation was straight forward. I like the debit workouts. Am disappointed with the lack of instructions on how to connect with other apps to get video rides or watch Netflix.

Best Hiit and Rehiit workouts
I don’t have hours to spend on a treadmill or in a gym. This bike gives me the opportunity to get intense workouts in 10-15 minutes 3 times a week. I love it.

Perspective of an 80 year old after over sixty years
The key is the intensity of the short work out between rest cycling . My concern is how I can continue with my aerobic work out of one hr a day in zone 2. I often go up to zone three so I wanted to add on the intense work out of CAROL bike. I am eighty years old and have been involved with fitness since a teenager. I have always done my work outs using pulse control using POLAR. It appears that your work out is having a direct effect on my muscles in the stomach area. For older people that is critical because older americans are spending time working on the extremities when it is obvious that to extend your quality of life years, the gut muscles are key. Therefore work inside out to the extremities rather than wasting all the time just doing aerobic work. I base this on over sixty years of working out using pulse and zone work outs. the missing piece as I got older is work first on your trunk muscles rather than legs and arms. CAROL intensity workouts I find are perfect for that critical piece.

The ai technology is amazing but
The ai technology is amazing. I can get a great workout in 10min or less.
It is nice to be able to use other apps like Netflix but you only have access to free ride while doing that. It would be nice to still have other ride modes accessible while using third party apps.
The bike frequently struggles to stay or get connected with Apple Watch. Fixing these small issues would take my review to a 5/5.

Would buy again
Love this bike and the programs…been using it 2-3x/week and can tell a difference. Would like to see some more interval programs but am sure they’ll be added. Delivery was excellent. Would definitely buy it again.
