My Fiesta ST broke down just a couple of days before it was due to be used for a special event that had been organised months ago and I feared we would have to cancel but Graham and Sharon at Cawdor Ford in Cardigan came to the rescue sourcing a new air conditioning pump and fitting it just in time for our trip, brilliant service again and can’t thank them enough.

The service provided by this fantastic company looking after our Foodbank van is first rate. Highly recommended

Recently visited Cawdor, Carmarthen in order to trial a vehicle. Was greeted by Ollie (Sales Executive), who was very welcoming and professional. Having trialled the vehicle, it didn't 'rock our boat' but instead of leaving it at that, Ollie introduced us to another vehicle, which we eventually bought. Well done Ollie. The service we experienced was first class. This is not the only purchase we've done with Cawdor Cars.

August 2023 I had a new head gasket and cam belt fitted, mechanic failed to repair an oil leak which 4 months later has contaminated the new belt and the head gasket has failed, this work cost nearly £2500 and they refuse to offer any warranty on their work. My pickup and main source of transport is now scrap leaving me a disabled ex soldier without this vehicle. I have tried to raise complaints with the main company but so far have only been contacted by the garage that did the work and they refuse to rectify the damage.

Excellent customer service. Andrew and all the staff were very friendly and the car was in excellent condition. Would definitely recommend this company if you need a reliable service

Bought new van 2 years ago due to mileage I do have had 3 services and couple weeks ago brakes changed. Prices have been good and the way they have sorted dates and times to suit so my work wouldn't be affected has been great help . Definitely recommend this company.

hi tried phoning cawdor cars llanelli to enquire about a recall to my astra ,Simon answered the phone after asking about my car he put the phone down on me ,tried phoning back twice but i was disconnected after 4 minutes 10.09 11/6/2022 , after this I did get through to FRF vauxhall swansea who where able to help me ,I will be taking my astra for there for the warranty work ,I did have a voicemail from cawdor cars at 10.50 some BS that the phones had gone down

Excellent customer service at the Carmarthen branch. My lease car needed a service and brakes, they struggled to find parts initially but sourced them so all work could be completed same day. I was kept updated and informed. Collected car and it had been washed and cleaned and everything was ready. Really was faultless and I was very impressed, thanks and well done!

After many assurances by phone that a van I was enquiring about was in showroom condition, I paid for an RAC report to be done prior to my going the 200 miles to view the van. The RAC report was truly shocking, and the engineer doing the report told me to walk away from it. The Sales representative had thoroughly lied. I asked for the cost of the report back, as it was clear the vehicle was sub-standard, but was dismissed and ignored from that point.

Picked up my 3rd car from cawdor carmarthen today. Nothing was too much trouble and they managed to exceed my expectations once again! Thanks everyone. I love my new corsa

Just bought my second car from Cawdor NCE. on both occasions had exellent sales service from Noel.
The first car was a Grandland which the family renamed Vauxhall Grandad, I found it ideal but the wife saw it as cumbersome and a nightmare to reverse. This made me go for a Crossland elite nav. Great pity that I had to pay extra for leather trim and reverse camera, these usually come as standard on top of the range models. Despite this we now have a Crossland which suits our needs, comfortable and an exellent car to drive.
The sales were made easy by Noel's polite 'no bother' attitude even though my requests were a bit demanding. From the previous car to this one all sales and service personnel have treated me with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. If the experience would have been less I would not have gone back for a second car. Thank you Cawdor.

Do not trust this company! I wouldn't even give them one star but that isn't an option.
The short version of my story is our elderly uncle purchased a car from them in September which developed faults after only driving around 100 miles.
Cawdor Cars are blaming the faults on our uncle's 'negligent driving' even though he has an unblemished driving record and decades of experience.
He is now stranded in his home during a pandemic with no car - Cawdor are holding the car to ransom as they are refusing to repair or give a refund unless our uncle pays for the for the £1000's of repairs himself.
This company would give Arthur Daley a run for his money!

*UPDATE* 13/1/2021 Still no word from Cawdor Cars, still no refund,elderly gentleman still has no transport. He's still paying out for tax and insurance on a car that is being held hostage by Cawdor.
Shocking company with zero customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY 😓😓😓😓😓😓

Great service given. Very polite sales advisor. Everything ran smoothly with the purchase of the car and the hand over.

We purchased a Hyundai IX35 CDTi Auto which was initially fine but had a series of faults. The Main dealers (not Cawdor) carried out a diagnosis and said the car had been in an accident, evidence included a poor front-end repair, the radiator cap was not original and headlights had been replaced. Faults included air conditioning not working, oil leak from gear box casing , differential leaking oil, brake disks excessively lipped etc. From January 2020 the car was off the road several times. It was losing power, shuddering and over-revving which made it unsafe to drive. The main dealers prescribed urgent repairs for "major faults". The cost of these was over £1500. Cawdor has not replied to a hand-delivered letter stating our complaint. We enclosed full details of the faults from the main dealer, which Cawdor referred us to, saying they did not have the equipment to carry out the diagnostic tests.
