Because we love period properties and wanted to live in Linton, and had a budget to stick to.. we knew it was going to be a stressful time, as few properties like this are available. I contacted Cheffins the other day about a water leak in the property that I rent through them. I was amazed that, just 3 hours later, a plumber was at the property, diagnosed the fault and suggested ways to remediate it pending a full repair. Needless to say, I'm delighted! This is, however, typical of my experience with Cheffins so far -- a very good company, in my opinion.

Cheffins were supportive and efficient throughout my house sale transaction. They have a large and well coordinated team meaning that someone was always available to help. Their information provision and communications to me by the sales negotiator team were always good and the relevant director was available for discussion when needed. They also took full account of difficult market conditions in keeping me informed.

Buying your first home can be a stressful process, but our experience with Cheffins has been genuinely excellent from start to finish. Before finding our home through Cheffins, we had actually offered on a property with another estate agent and the experience was extremely frustrating due to poor communication. Unfortunately, I had to pull out of a purchase at the last minute, due to family issues, but I was Very impressed with Cheffins staff generally and Steve Banham in particular. He was very professional, but friendly at the same time. Plus helpful and understanding too.
