Horrible company

I recently purchased a dress from Chicsew and while there were some positives, overall, I was disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship.

The dress looks nice and the color is lovely, just as advertised. Moving onto the material, fabric is quite thick, which gives the dress a good structure, though it might be a bit heavier than expected.

However, there were quite a few cons. Zipper keeps getting stuck, making it very difficult to zip up. This is quite frustrating and makes me worry that the zipper might break on the special day. Furthermore, one of the spaghetti straps snapped off the first time I tried the dress on. This is very disappointing and means I now have to pay for alterations out of pocket.
Lastly, the clothing tag was sewn on the front of the dress, rather than on the back as is standard. This is a minor issue, but still, it seems like a very strange idea or a careless mistake.

Overall, while the dress is visually appealing, the quality issues make it hard to recommend. I hope you will address these concerns in the future, as their designs do have potential.

Since I don't enjoy surfing the internet to find a dress that I need for a wedding, this website was pretty easy to navigate.

Would never waste money ordering from here again . I got a size based of their size chart it didn’t fit their return process is horrible . You have to send it to China get it insured you don’t get shipping cost back and pay shipping cost they keep 10% so out of 160 you’d lose almost 100 just to return the dress . Not worth it bad quality .

Gracie helped me over the course of several months to order 7 dresses. She was so helpful in picking the right sizes, advising color swatches and triple checking everything.
There was not a day that went by where I emailed Gracie and she did respond straight away, this made me (the bride) feel heard and very calm. She even assisted on a special case return, which I really appreciated. In addition, she ensured all my dresses arrived on time, and help co-ordinate with her collogues from the US website, to ensure the same quality, responsiveness and delivery time. Finally, I can say I am very happy that i chose this site, as the dresses are lovely and the quality is very good. They were even able to make some alterations for us, free of charge. I hope I never have to buy another set of bridesmaid dresses (haha) but I will always recommend this site and Gracie!!

This company is very rude. Let's start there. The person replied back to my messages was very nasty. Saying nasty things and calling me a liar. I explained that my dress is made wrong, the dress is huge, the thread coming out the seams, and the zipper won't zip. I said I will contact my bank if they not willing to help me. Klarna did not help either. At first, I was not looking for a refund. I just wanted a new dress made correctly. I paid for a dress that does not look like their website. She said no refund. I explained that I will also contact a lawyer (friend) also the local news station. She said "so" go ahead and do it. She is not scared. Their company is patent in the US.I said I am not threatening you. I just want a dress made correctly. She then said ok I will pay for it to get fix if i take it to a professional and told me take to the tailor see if it can be fix. I went to three tailor and the all said my dress was made horrible and it better to buy a new dress than to get what they sent me.

I ordered my dress early March but I did not get the dress late May. I sent them video and picture at the tailor shop and what they said they stop replying back to me. I sent them picture of the dress seams coming out and how poorly sewn together. The dress was huge. I gave them correct measurements. They just ignored me.

Buyer beware! Do not use this company. It's located over seas and they will not help you if you have any issues with your order even if the issue was caused on their part. I had to pull out being a bridesmaid in my best friend wedding. Ps we have other bridesmaid dresses messed up. I told them all to come here to report this company.

Such a beautiful dress and the fabric texture is excellent. Size fits to perfection. I would give a hundred stars if possible. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This online store is awful! Worst online store ever!!! They’re very discriminatory against plus size people. I only deal with this site because I’m a bridesmaid and this is where my cousin wants us to get the dress. Apart from that I would not have proceeded to purchasing a dress at all after seeing that you can only return a dress size 14 and under. With that being said I’m a US size 16! I purchased a size 18, because I thought it would be a big enough size and I’d alter it to a size 16. When I finally got the dress it was soooooooo small I couldn’t even fit into it. I’ve bought plenty of clothes online to know that size 18 would’ve been big. Well it wasn’t! I reached out to customer service and they were awful!!!! They gave me sooooo many excuses! First excuse is that their website sizes are not local size, so why the hell would u have U.S 18 if it’s not local size, if I see U.S.18 I’m going to think local because I live in the US. apparently the only way u can get ur size is if u measure to their size. Their site post false U.S measurements. They said that they would give me a full refund if I can prove that their measurements were off. Their measurements were obviously off by ALOT, but based on their chart it was off by 3 inches, then they told me to measure in cm, hellooooo u clearly have inches and cm on ur site. Anyways if I’m suppose to sit here and list all their awful excuses that they gave me I’ll be here all night writing a book. Awful site, awful customer service, don’t ever deal with these people! Then they offered to alter it based on their measurements, if u alter it based on ur measurements I’m still not gonna for the dress like wth???
