We recently had an appointment with Dr Bright after our son had a severe allergic reaction… we were appalled we had to wait months on the NHS to be seen for allergy testing so we looked into private tests, did a lot of research and came across Dr Bright! We got an appointment really quickly and we thought the whole experience was brilliant. He put our worries to bed as we had been very concerned he would have another reaction and we wouldn’t know the cause! We had an in depth conversation around our son’s reaction then he explained what would happen with the tests and it didn’t take long to find out what he was allergic to! We talked about how to go forward from the appointment and what he would need. Care plan, medication etc! His care plan came through in no time at all and my husband and I were so pleased we came across Dr Bright and I wouldn’t hesitate to go pay privately and do exactly the same if needed in future! We would thoroughly recommend Dr Bright to anyone! We was brilliant with our son and he made sense of this whole experience we never thought we would find ourselves in. We are in a much better place with guidance and the experience Dr Bright gave us and are very thankful for the swift appointment and advice!!

We found Dr Bright online as we were keen to get our 6 month old seen as quickly as possible - we suspected her to have dairy allergy. We knew that NHS waiting time can be long so we decided to go for a private consultation. Dr Bright is the only consultant in the North East that offers such private service.

We got in touch with his team and we were responded to swiftly. In fact, we got reviewed in under two weeks after getting in touch.

At our consultation, Dr Bright was polite, professional, and warm. He put us at ease and it was obvious that he's great with babies. He made a thorough assessment of our daughter's history and conducted a detailed examination. He listened and emphasised.

Following this, he performed skin prick test which was incredibly helpful as it gave us the answers within that consultation.

Dr Bright was able to take us through what the diagnosis was, what it meant, and provided us with a very robust management plan.

He devoted his time to us and we never felt rushed even though the consultation went over time. Following on this consultation, we received a very detailed clinic letter.

Overall, we would highly recommend anyone with children who have allergies to Dr Bright.

Dr Bright was very knowledgeable and helpful with my daughter allergies. He listened to all of the issues, diagnoses the problems and gave us a clear plan for treatment. This was well communicated to myself and also to my GP. This treatment plan has massively improved my daughters allergies on a short period of time

It was great to meet Dr Bright who was nice and understanding and helped to point us in the right direction after confirming that my daughter had a milk protein allergy. It was a good experience for both my daughter and I. We now have an action plan and prescribed medication that she can use when she has an allergic reaction.
